Currently in the hiring process for a senior brand manager/team lead position. Short feedback on the scores I needed to clear the online test: - Digit challenge: I got like to level 16 or so, however I had the feeling that at question 7 or 8, the questions that got asked suddently got easier again. So I thought I for sure gave a wrong answer accidently on one of those easy questions. I never got to the x * y * z part of the test, where you shared that list with the factors in one of your prep videos - Switch challenge: I don't think I did any mistakes but I answered "only" 10 and was kinda nervous about that. But by question 11 (and actually starting from question 8 or 9), they were already quite hard, going through like three different operators with you having to select like two answers per question. Rather than guessing wrong, I didn't answer the last question - Grid challgenge: This one was super scrappy. I mean I was aware, that they switch between grid memory and symmetry etc. questions but I was not prepared for the fact, that the time limits to memorize the dots were like SUPER short, barely enough to take any notes (which I think is the whole point). So I really struggeled with that... some of the grids I didn't even have time to press on sending because I accidently selected the wrong dot or order, had to go back, deselect the wrong button and then correct my mistake. So two or three grids I didn't even send over. However, I think I aced the hardest grids while my mistakes happened 1) at the beginning and 2) in one of the medium difficulty grids where my guard was a bit down. The result: the recruiter told me I scored 5/5 on the challenge part of the test (and 4/5 in the cultural fit).. so yea. Just wanted to share that personal experience. Now moving on to the actual interviews
Hi Bahroz, I received the following message(week and and a half after completing the tests): "We have reviewed your qualifications and, unfortunately, we will not be able to process your application further." Can I ask what do they mean in terms of qualifications? Is it a combination of work experience, grades in uni and overall performance on the tests? It's little bit unclear and without a proper feedback I find it hard to develope myself and become better.
I got an email saying that i passed the test after 3 weeks now I will have interview for a placement/internship position but they didnt specify if it will be technical one so I assume not. Your videos helped me pass the online assessment and now im watching your interview question videos thank you
Hi Bahroz, I really wanted to thank you so much for your content. I don’t think I would’ve been able to make it to the offer stage with P&G without it. I was wondering what P&Gs stance is on negotiating offers, I have done research and have an idea of what to expect. Hi thanks for reaching out…. Glad you found the content valuable… p&g follows a very structured performance system so the room for negotiation would not be big, however it’s always worth to ask for a 10% higher salary as part of your ask… I have seen other candidates do that successfully…

Just want to clarify, last January 2024 I applied to the P&G Leadership Camp for 2024 Brand Managers however I failed the assessments and received an email saying "Unfortunately, based on the results of the online assessment that you have completed,.........You will be able to retake the online assessment after 12 months (any application completed before one year for a position at the same job level won’t be considered)" With this, I am trying to give it a shot again this September for an open role as Key Account Sales Manager or Insights Manager, but I'm worried if these roles are considered at the same level and I will not be qualified to take the online assessments. Do you think these roles are at the same job level though the Brand Manager is part of a Leadership Camp but for new grands or are these roles different? Any thoughts would be helpful! Thank you!

Hi Bahroz! I wanted to thank you for your very informative videos, you gave me plenty of practice questions that prepared me for the real thing. I got to level 22 in the digit test, level 17 in the switch test and level 3 in the grid test but I believe I made one mistake in each of the tests. After submission, I received an email telling me that I am making great progress and to wait 30 days. My question is do I level up if I make a mistake or do I stay in the same level? Is this response a good sign? How long should I expect the wait to be before a decision? I am based in the UK. Thank you again!

Hi Bahroz, i really loved watching your videos and after getting through the assessment and 2 rounds of interview where i did well. Today I received an automated rejection email that I'm still trying to make sense of, i have reached out to the talent partner on call and asked if she can provide me some detailed feedback. Is this still the norm to take candidates through the process and send them automated rejections without any real explanation? Or is this a mistake? Any explanation will be helpful and greatly appreciated
Hi thanks for reaching out… it’s not a norm and you should not let this go.. make sure you reach out to the recruiter and ask them to give you a at least one clear reason that you could have done better with
Thanks Bahroz, your content helped me pass the test and also prep for the interviews! Ive interviewed for a brand manager role for the Dubai office and finished all 3 interviews on September 2nd. On September 16th i emailed the HR about when to expect an update and they said within the week. That week passed and this week almost passed and still no update (24 days since my last interview). What is taking them long and is there anything i can do to get clarity from them?

Hi Bahroz! I just want to clarify something about the hiring process at P&G. I just received a reply to my follow-up from H&R regarding the status of my interview, and they said that I passed all 3 interviews. They indicated that the team is still in the process of discussing the next step for the application. I applied for the Associate-Financial Services and Solutions position. Does this assure me that I will be offered a job position, or should I not be confident at all? Is it also okay to inquire about the timeframe for getting an update? And to inform them that my availability to start a job will be in the last week of June since I have a certification exam scheduled from May to June.

Hi Bahroz, I completed two interviews, the first with 1 panel member and the second with 2 panel members. Today (3weeks after 2nd interview), I got an email from the recruiting coordinator that they want to set up a meeting with me regarding an internship next summer and answer any questions I have. What typically happens in this stage, is it just a final formal way to complete the process and extend the offer or is this another round of interview?
Hi, Bahroz! So, a friend of mine referred me to P&G (Sept 9 at 7pm), I immediately received an email stating the vacant position and the link. I wasn't able to take the assessments right away because I want to prepare for it and ace it. So now is Sept 12 and it's 3am, I checked the position on their website, but it says the position is already filled. I am curious if I will still be able to take the assessment? and if I passed, will I still be able to get a feedback from them and still get a job when another vacant position is posted? @@bahroz Thank you, I will rewatch them for sure! I watched all of your P&G videos twice (1st time before 1st interview, 2nd time before 2nd interview as they were scheduled almost 3 weeks apart). So I got both times questions like: are emotions important at work, how positive vs. negative emotions might influence someone's work, what will I do if my colleague or stakeholder is not in the mood etc. Any ideas on how to approach such questions?

Hi Bahroz! I just finished my PEAK Performance test. But I wasn't prompted to answer the interactive assessments. It's not in my email and it's also not in my candidate home page. What does this mean?
@@bahroz Also, just to add, after completing the PEAK performance test I received an email with subject "Online Assessment Completed". No link for the interactive assessment there. Just them telling me they'll review my assessment and to expect their reply within 30 days.

Sorry I feel like I've commented so much on your videos. Just finished the test today I think I ROCKED it. I failed a year ago and the email was completely different from when I failed so I am optimistic. However I went to click on the job description... it won't let me. I search the job online.. it says "this position has been filled". My mom works for P&G and says they might have just had too many applicants is all. Any advice on this? It disappeared today.

Hi bahroz, I got results on 19 levels of the digit challenge, 14 levels of the switch challenge, and I successfully completed the grid. And I did not understand that when you pass to go through interview you will do all of them ! I thought that at each step the interviewer was saying yes or no and if it’s yes you go for the next interview and if it’s no, it’s finished. So finally I will do for sure all the interviews and at the end they will said yes or no ? And do you think it’s normal that it take more than 2 weeks to do all the interviews ? Thanks a lot
If the first interview was a screening interview then you will have three more if that one was not called out as screening then you will have 3 including first one
Yes you will need to go through all interviews before the decision is taken…. At times it does takes longer it’s not a norm but it’s nothing unusual either.. Keep me posted and best of luck

Since passing the online assessments, I have had two interviews so far: a technical interview and the 1st round of three PEAK interviews. It's been 14 days since my 1st PEAK interview, and I still haven't heard on my result yet. I sent a reminder to the recruiter on the 10th day, but still no update. The hiring process took me already longer than two months even though there are two more rounds left. Q. Do you think this is a red flag? Q. Last year, I applied for internship in P&G which is opened regularly but I failed on online test. They sent me an e-mail written that I cannot apply for 12 months so I waited. Finally new internship position this year opened. However, the due date is earlier than last year so I am worried about whether I cannot meet the reapplying qualification because, to be exactly speaking, 11 months and a half passed since I got the e-mail even though it’s been 12 months and this opportunity is annually-regular internship. So I wonder 12 months means exact 365 days. Then, I cannot apply for this position and have to wait another year? Because I prepared a lot.. I tried to apply for another position. Hi Bahroz, I completed two interviews, the first with 1 panel member and the second with 2 panel members. Today (3weeks after 2nd interview), I got an email from the recruiting coordinator that they want to set up a meeting with me regarding an internship next summer and answer any questions I have. What typically happens in this stage, is it just a final formal way to complete the process and extend the offer or is this another round of interview?

Hi, Bahroz! So, a friend of mine referred me to P&G (Sept 9 at 7pm), I immediately received an email stating the vacant position and the link. I wasn't able to take the assessments right away because I want to prepare for it and ace it. So now is Sept 12 and it's 3am, I checked the position on their website, but it says the position is already filled. I am curious if I will still be able to take the assessment? and if I passed, will I still be able to get a feedback from them and still get a job when another vacant position is posted? Hard to say but if I were you I would give the test and hope they are still fetching for applications

Yup… so this means you did clear the test but your resume was not shortlisted to move forward in the process

So I got both times questions like: are emotions important at work, how positive vs. negative emotions might influence someone's work, what will I do if my colleague or stakeholder is not in the mood etc. Any ideas on how to approach such questions?

I failed a year ago and the email was completely different from when I failed so I am optimistic. However I went to click on the job description... it won't let me. And I did not understand that when you pass to go through interview you will do all of them ! I thought that at each step the interviewer was saying yes or no and if it’s yes you go for the next interview and if it’s no, it’s finished. If the first interview was a screening interview then you will have three more if that one was not called out as screening then you will have 3 including first one

At times it does takes longer it’s not a norm but it’s nothing unusual either..

I would like to ask some questions regarding my situation. Since passing the online assessments, I have had two interviews so far: a technical interview and the 1st round of three PEAK interviews. It's been 14 days since my 1st PEAK interview, and I still haven't heard on my result yet. I sent a reminder to the recruiter on the 10th day, but still no update.
The hiring process took me already longer than two months even though there are two more rounds left.

Hello, Mr. Bahroz. I watched your video well so thank you for your efforts. I’d like to ask you about applying to P&G. Last year, I applied for internship in P&G which is opened regularly but I failed on online test. They sent me an e-mail written that I cannot apply for 12 months so I waited. Finally new internship position this year opened. However, the due date is earlier than last year so I am worried about whether I cannot meet the reapplying qualification because, to be exactly speaking, 11 months and a half passed since I got the e-mail even though it’s been 12 months and this opportunity is annually-regular internship.
So I wonder 12 months means exact 365 days. Then, I cannot apply for this position and have to wait another year? Because I prepared a lot.. I tried to apply for another position. Can I compromise this issue with HR team?
