      Fairly sure ants have arseholes...
Or do they? Are their lives so short that they don't need them?
Mayflys only live a day or so. They probably don't need an arsehole. Maybe they just have a rudimentary arsehole, like the wisdom teeth and appendix in humans. We don't really need them anymore, but some people still have them. Maybe there's a dead end at the end of the alimentary canal like a cul-de-sac on an ant 🐜 or Mayfly. Pretty sure the Queen has an arsehole because she eats all the time.

From Canada, I adore Charlie Brooker and Diane is absolutely AMAZING as Cunk. To be clear, it's a northern accent? It's hysterical on say Graham Norton how Yanks can't understand John Bishop or Kevin Bridges. Just sounds normal ( a bit different) to my ears.

There’s not really any such thing as ‘a’ Northern accent. Liverpool, Manchester, Hull, Leeds, Newcastle, York, Sunderland and Bolton are all ‘Northern’ towns and each have their own distinctive accent. Even towns just a few miles apart can have distinctive differences

@@wheedler hmmm… you’re suggesting that they meant ‘a type of Northern accent’? I don’t think that’s what the poster meant, I read it as then suggesting all northern accents are the same, and was this THE northern accent rather than A northern accent.
