      surah (3:151) We will cast terror into the hearts of those who have denied the Truth since they have associated others with Allah in His divinity.
      Surah 2:191 Kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from where they drove you out, as Fitnah (to create disorder) is more severe than killing. However, do not fight them near Al-Masjid-ul-Harām (the Sacred Mosque in Makkah) unless they fight you there. However, if they fight you (there) you may kill them. Such is the reward of the disbelievers.
      Surah 9:5 Then, when the sacred months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them, capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every ambush. But if they repent, and maintain the prayer and give the zakāt, then let them alone. Indeed Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.

      @John J Hi. hope you are good.
      I wanted to help clarify your misconceptions. If only instead of cherry-picking verses and phrases, you'd try looking into the context, it'll help understand the meaning and the reason.
      For example, for the first verse you mentioned:
      1. These verses refer to the battle of Uhud.
      The previous verses referred to Allah Almighty as the best of helpers'; recounted here are some incidents of Allah's help.
      The word, سلطان sultan, rendered here as 'authority' includes all revealed or rational bases of their position. The promise of casting awe and fear into the hearts of the disbelievers in this verse was made in the back-ground of the battle of Uhud when the disbelievers of Arabia marched back to Makkah without any obvious reason and in-spite of defeat overtaking Muslims (Baydawi). However, after having covered a certain distance on their way to Makkah, they awoke to their folly. When they thought of marching back to Madinah, Allah Almighty filled their hearts with such awe and fear that they could not muster the courage to do so. The most they could do was to hire a Madinah-bound villager to go there and tell Muslims that they were coming back. But, this whole deal came into the knowledge of the Holy Prophet ﷺ in Madinah through revelation. He marched to Hamra' al-Asad to apprehend them but they had already run away from there.
      This was the background in which the present verse was revealed.
      The verses that follow recount, as pointed out earlier, Allah's help and support for Muslims in the battle of Uhud.
      So you see, there is a whole story behind this verse. This is just a small part of it.

    • @maq-ister
      @maq-ister ปีที่แล้ว

      @John J verse Surah 2:191, as mentioned in a website:
      This is probably the most misquoted verse from the Quran. To properly understand the verse, we need to put it into context. Misquoting verses and taking them out of context can be applied to any scripture. For example, in the Bible, Jesus says, “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword!” (Matthew 10:34). He also says, “But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be their king-bring them here and slaughter them in my presence!” (Luke 19:27). And Moses says, “The Lord is a man of war, the Lord is his name.” (Exodus 15:3). For more details, see the Introduction.
      The fighting (qital) mentioned here refers to that which took place during the life of the Prophet Muhammad. The Prophet’s Makkan opponents, not content with just expelling the Prophet and his companions from Makkah, their hometown, also prevented them from living and working peacefully in the neighbouring town of Yathrib (Madinah) where they had gone to settle. Without any provocation, they repeatedly attacked the Muslims who then had to fight in self-defence. When aggression has already been committed by opponents, believers are obliged to defend themselves. Initiating hostilities is not permitted for Muslims. Only defensive war is permitted in Islam. Even defensive war has to be openly declared by an established state.

    I think they misinterpreted the word hijab. It isn't just the head covering, it isn't just modest dressing. It is about respecting others and treat them equally, have full submission to Allah, and to show this submission to the society. And so, so much more. Interestingly the term for covering is not hijab but khimar. Khimar originates from the word to cover, hide:
    “Let them (believing women) wear their Khimar over their juyub” which is their chest. From this verse we understand that women are instructed by Allah SWT to wear the Khimar and to then drape it over their chests. At the time of Holy Prophet (swas) women tended to wear khimar - a piece of cloth to cover their hair, in similar fashion like nowadays dubata. So hair was already part of the covering. Allah only told women to extend the covering by pressing the surface of fabric to the surface of chin and cover the chest. This covering is the kind of 'hijab' we see today on muslim women.
    Hijab isn't mentioned in the Quran, true, but it is told in the surah Al-Ahzab, verse 59: “O PROPHET, TELL YOUR WIVES AND YOUR DAUGHTERS AND THE WOMEN OF THE BELIEVERS TO BRING DOWN OVER THEMSELVES [PART] OF THEIR OUTER GARMENTS. THAT IS MORE SUITABLE THAT THEY WILL BE RECOGNISED AND NOT BE ABUSED. AND EVER IS ALLAH FORGIVING AND MERCIFUL.”
    The wives, daughters and believers. Are you a believer? SubhanAllah, then you must cover.
    One lady said that she wants to be a good muslim from inside and then to expend it to outside and that is why she doesn't cover. I believe it is same thing if you say that it is a choice to pray. So you don't pray because you want to be first a good muslim from inside then then extend it to your actions and actually pray.
    That isn't how it works.
    Also, the hijab isn't originally for women. It was first mentioned to be for men: “Say to the believing men that they restrain their eyes and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Surely, Allah is well aware of what they do.” (surah an-nur, verse 31)
    An example of this was when the Prophet rode with his companion Al Fadl bin Abbas. A woman described as strikingly beautiful approached the Prophet to seek his guidance on some religious matters. Al Fadl began to stare at her because of her beauty. The Prophet Muhammad did not scold the woman for dressing immodestly or revealing her beauty. Instead, he “reached his hand backwards, catching Al Fadl’s chin, and turned his face to the other side so that he would not gaze at her”. Thus, the Prophet Muhammad once more established that the primary burden to observe hijab rests on men.
    But all of this is forgotten because of the fact that we only call covering the head as hijab.

    Just wanna share something here. Honestly, it was last year when I was eager to wear a niqab after I heard a wasyat about Tabarrouj (Showing-Off), Fitnah, and Evil Eye. And it was this year when I started to wear the Niqab. Let me tell you why it was this year I started to wear the niqab, IT'S BECAUSE I THINK I HAVE AN ILL CHARACTER eg. SHORT-TEMPERED, LOUD which I personally think that I havetofix first before wearing it. I kept thinking that I have to correct my character, put much modesty and hayyah in it. Where it led me? NOTHING MUCH but WORSE than that. But the moment that I came to realization that I am not changing at all that the problem is how I think, I asked people whom I know that wore Niqab about their thoughts, prayed and did some research. And Allah helped me end my decision when a friend told me about this: "Once you wore a niqab out of trend, insecurity, or feeling out of place but wore it because of faith then you will In Shaa Allah keep yourself on guard. You are very loud, that laughs where everyone could hear it, short-tempered? In Shaa Allah, what you wear will help you ease those characters, it serves as a reminder to you. You will come to the moment that you'll notice small sins and asking forgiveness to Allah will always follow. See it yourself the difference.
    Ps: I am not suggesting that one should wear a niqab. It is what I am currently in, and relating it to every Muslim's obligation, which to cover up their Awrah eg. Wearing the Hijab.
    (1/2)

    • @havendy7758
      @havendy7758 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      And I totally agree with you about covering up because it's about Allah. What we really wear gives us a reminder of who we represent ourselves. You wear a hijab/niqab/jilbab because of your faith (not because it's the trending and afraid of being left out by the crowd) then In Shaa Allah you will be also wearing such Hayyah with you, you will be reminded how a Muslimah is. In terms of dealing with struggles, In Shaa Allah, with what your niyyah is is how you will deal with the struggles. Once your niyyah of wearing the hijab/niqab/jilbab is about Allah, then you will think of every struggle as a test that In Shaa Allah you will overcome.
      Keypoints: The importance of what you wear and the importance of having a good niyyah.
      Ps: I am not suggesting that one should wear a niqab. It is what I am currently in, and relating it to every Muslim's obligation, which to cover up their Awrah eg. Wearing the Hijab.

Like she said in the video it is a command from God and he gave you the option to follow it or not but he also said their is consequences( reward if you follow and punishment if you Don't) and that applies to every command in Islam not just the hijab. So yes a hijabi woman isn't necessarily better than a non hijabi in general. But of course there is a difference same as two Muslims who live in the west surrounded by drinking culture one gave in and drank and one fought it and didn't drink. It doesn't mean one is better than the other generally but of course god will reward the one who despite the temptations followed his command.

    One the biggest issues such videos like the spectrum one create is that.. It seems like an effort to make people more aware of Muslims but the representatives invited aren't able to do justice . It's a spectrum video.. True.. But the far end on strong aqeedah side ppl aren't represented I believe. it might end up spreading incomplete info and sadly non Muslims have more access to these.

      @John J john..babe, you need help. all u did was copy and paste. the first surah u sent was from the battle of Badr, & for the second surah, its so damn obvious u just skimmed sum negative and added it to my comment. do you know what came before that verse? clearly you don't.
      It says : Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you but do not trangress limits for Allah loves not the transgressors. (Quran 2:190) In the earlier verse it is very clearly stated to fight only those who attacks first. Then Allah says : And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers. (Quran 2:191) Now, here's what comes afterwards: "And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." (Quran 2:192) "Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah . But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors." (Quran 2:193)
      LASTLY, YOU ARENT FREAKING LOOKING AT THE DAMN CONTEXT!! you are just pickpocketing one line out of a randomly chosen surah, copy and paste it, and freaking comment abt it underneath my reply.
      john, it's so obvious that you do not do your research. it is so obvious you searched up "bad Quran quotes abt killing disbelievers", copied it and pasted it under my comment. you do know that all info above is from research, and i made this reply to u in like 5 min. either ur a bot, or u just like spreading misinformation.
      no, im not saying that Muslims do NOT kill disbelievers. some obviously do, bc they're doing the same thing as u-- not looking at the context. yes, those muslims are bad muslims, and i am not on their side at all. killing innocent people is terrible.

    Thank you for this video sister. When you mentioned the deception of iblees when people think they are not worthy of following Allah's SWT commands, i realized this firsthand on my journey to wear the headscarf. There was a point in my life that i really wanted to wear it but everytime i told myself i would i ended up not doing so just because someone told me i should (they didn't know i was already going to). I thought that if i wore it that day, people would think i wore it for that person and not for the right reasons, not for Allah SWT. So i didn't and i waited some more. This happened a few times until i finally realised, why should i care how others precieve my decision, I know and Allah SWT knows, that should be enough. If others want to take credit then let them, it will not harm me. I realised then how subtle the deceptions of iblees goes... he can even corrupt your good intentions by planting these seeds of doubt in your mind to confuse you and make you think your decision is better for you when it is actually not.

I think it's important to understand why you wear hijab. When I started to wear hijab, I didn't really understand the true reason behind it and the full idea of modesty. You should learn about hijab. But the thing is, it's better to wear the headcover when you are not ready because there won't be that day where the sun shines perfectly at your window and the birds are singing and you decide you are ready. Because everytime you go outside your representing islam and that's a big thing.
      Taking baby steps are good too but also we were told to wear hijab so we should. It's hard but with hardship comes ease.

    بارك الله فيك.
    I just found you through twitter and I'm so glad I did. I love the way you explained your ideas, especially the one about Hijab being "a choice" because I struggle with explaining it too even though I understand it fairly well.
    The question about women and men being "equal" - to me, Islam acknowledges those inherent differences and it shows in what we must and must not do as men and women... it shows in those very differences. And it's through those differences, those roles, and those acts, that we build a society together. The harmony is honestly beautiful. And no one is being wronged because, like you said, it's about justice, not equality. But Jubilee and the likes represent the ideas of an individual-oriented society. So they don't consider the harmony of living together or creating a society together, but rather make it almost like a competition. And if I understand correctly, that's where the struggle between feminists and their opposers comes from imo. Who deserves to be treated How. So they default to equality, while we know it's unfair for both genders! And like, I think ome has to consider that we were created by God, He knows us better than we know ourselves. So if we start delegating roles ourselves with a competitive mindset, it'll be a mess because no side can truly understand the other. But by obeying God, we know for a fact that we'll have jutice. It's things like that that make one realize that Islam is truly a blessing.
    One last thing - the guy at the end saying that "if it were to him, inheritance would be 50-50". Oof. No sir. WE. DON'T. GET. TO. ARGUE. Like, not only is the inherence issue suuuuper complicated and takes into consideration many many relations and roles and all (definitely beyond my current knowledge level so I can't get into it) BUT ALSO. We know. That God is just. Even if something doesn't make sense to YOU, rest assured that we've been shown plenty of other examples of God's wisdom and justice so that we can accept that sometimes some things are beyond our understanding and that's okay. You can't just say "that doesn't sound okay to me so if I could, I'd change it." I'm hoping I misunderstood because that's... really not okay.
    { وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤۡمِنࣲ وَلَا مُؤۡمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥۤ أَمۡرًا أَن یَكُونَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡخِیَرَةُ مِنۡ أَمۡرِهِمۡۗ وَمَن یَعۡصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ ضَلَـٰلࣰا مُّبِینࣰا }

Secondly, your parents want what is the best for you and they know you better because they are your parents. You think you know you better but your parents were there when you were an infant and sees your inner personality. But, if I was your parent I would say go for it. Marry who you wish, with prayer and support insya Allah it will work. If it doesn't then perhaps listening to your parents might not be such a bad thing.

    As a non-believer I really love your videos. I grew up in an Islamic country so the things you say are not strange to me. The reason I love your channel is because you speak very right and confident. What I mean by right is, the Quran is the sacred book and the main source for any Muslim individual. So if you claim that you believe in something, you have to behave like you believe in that. For example I can say that I am Muslim right now and I might live like a non-believer as many Muslims do. As I said I have an Islamic background so back when Í was younger, these are what I used to think either. You might belong to any religion and you cannot just interpret it as how it fits on you.

    lol it's a pitty that you guys always think people can't have choice.i mean not everyone is living for going to heaven.lol you can actually make you heart stop beating there are ways 😂 and these youtubers are reminders of how religiously blinded these people are.they actually lose their brain.their capacity to think.anyway i can see the bump in his pants i thought there's rule to cover that part of body of man right?? why it's not a must ??i have seen 90% muslim man not doing so.that indicates how these rules are for woman only.just how look at hard the the iranian women are oppressed.

      @jojo my problem with your comment is that you judge the religion without even knowing what it stands for first, and by knowing I don't mean watching the news or coming up with conclusions based on what you see on the media, modesty is compulsory for all Muslims, not only the women, so those 90% of Muslim men that you saw not covering up properly are in the wrong, as it is a must for them to dress properly, just as much as it is for women. However, a woman shouldn't be scorned because she doesn't wear the hijab, and she should never be oppressed into doing so, so before you make ignorant comments like this, do well to educate yourself first.

    With the first question, the reason I personally have an issue with it. Is because what if one of the people doesn't pray five times a day because they dont have the time, they're new to Islam. It would just make them feel bad. Especially people who tend to think they aren't good enough and struggle with mental health.

  • @aishaqva3006
    @aishaqva3006 2 ปีที่แล้ว +31

    They're lying while saying ' i have strong relationships with ALLAH even if i don't pray'. If you'd have, than you will be afraid of ALLAH and love ALLAH so you'd definitely pray. Like saying that i don't have a time really selfish. If your boss would call you 5 times a day you would answer it, if someone would invite you to wedding 5 times you would go, and so...
    You only don't have time to pray? they need to stop lying to themselfs.
