I have wireless head phones used them a couple of times ..I hate the cable dangling but I would buy a semi cheap set last me most of the yr using them. Broke a lot of wires from cabled headsets..lol Thanks for sharing this little device

I mean.. if you just want 1 set that works for all detectors.. This makes perfect sense and they are small and portable .. no cables, just the 2 inch piece that snaps into the back of the detector and you're wireless man.. - Thank you Dan

Good idea and informative video. I have the Z-Lynk headphones for my Apex and they do get kind of hot in the summer. I also have the Z-Lynk equipped pin pointer so they all work together. Keep Digging!

Thanks brother! in the Winter those Z-Link Garrett headphones will keep my ears toasty! but now Vegas 110 degree Summer I need my pork ears to breath... - Stay cool and represent, Detector Nation!

i got them off ebay from a company called Serious detecting.. I just looked and there are a few of these units avail right now ranging from $69-$89 but i never worry if i ever want to go wireless.. as long as the detector has a jack 3.5mm or 1/4 inch.. I have a solution.. - Cheers

I checked out your idea on the Quest. Not sure if you are aware the Quest has a 60 milisecond delay and the Garratt Z-Link is only 17 Miliseconds. Much faster and also the Z-link will also work with all detectors the same way. It looks like Quest copies Garrett but just not as fast a response. I wish Garrett would add ear buds to the system for summer time.

Greg i wasnt aware of the audio delay. If there is one, the ear/eye timing isnt noticeable at least to me while pinpointing. Maybe on paper its a factor but will get the job done for $69... its just an option for some people on a budget.. Z-Link is Superior technology for sure! and yes a Z-link ear bud or deus style behind the ear model is needed.. Thanks Greg - I appreciate your info

I used the Quest wireless headphones on my Deus light (hockey puck) with the 3.5 inch jack and it worked very good. The combination of tones and VDI was perfect. But now the transmitter is broken and i can't find the 3.5 jack version again. All in Europe they sell only the 6.5 version with a 3.5 adaptor but this is to heavy for the connector on the Deus light, it breaks down. So when i'm hunting in very trashy parks, i can't use the Deus anymore because i always have to take mu WS4 headphone of to check the VDI numbers.

have you tried ebay.. i just looked. i typed quest wireless and i see lots of transmitters with the 3.5mm jack and adapters available.. at least here in the US.. can you get the same suff off ebay in Europe??
