Sohrab Moradi Heavy Training (170kg Snatch + 220kg Clean and Jerk) - 2018 Asian Games [4k 50]

    Sohrab Moradi, 94kg lifter from Iran, training 6, 5, and 3 days out in preparation for the 2018 Asian Games. Some Notes:
    -In the first workout Moradi did up to 120kg cluster (1:37), and up to 120kg power snatch (2:30).
    -In the second workout he did up to 140kg snatch double (4:21), up to 170kg snatch (5:47), and up to 220kg clean and jerk (7:53).
    -In the third workout he did up to 160kg power snatch (12:23), up to 190kg snatch pull (12:46), and up to 240kg front squat (14:01).
    -In the event Moradi did 189/221 and earned the overall gold. The 189kg snatch broke the longest standing World Record in weightlifting, the 188kg snatch by Kakhi Kakhiashvili set at the 1999 World Championships.

      @@tonkizz1867I meant that this was a quote by Zack in one of his videos. I did not mean that he (Zack) is at his peak performance. Maybe I did not use the word "reference" properly because I am not native English speaking ?! 🤔

    this guy with bodyeweight over 84 kg lift 200 plus in snatch, do you think how many weight this man can lift with salimi's weight, almost 165 kg,

    I have never seen a stomach that big on a 94kg lifter. Is it possible a steroid side effect?. It is abnormally large. Must help though for squat position
