My all time favorite lifter!!!!! I bet anyone on the comment section 100 bucks cash money that my guy Andrei takes back his Olympic title at the 2020 GAMES!!!!!
One thing I noticed in this year's championship - Andrei with his baby face never looks like he will pick up those heavy weights whereas Martinosyan comes with such an aggressive face that it appears he will lift the entire stage up
I would say it is an experience thing, but even 11 years ago Aramnau was quite calm. Other than hurrying up the stairs to the stage you don't see any aggression.
coached weightlifters out of his gym he built with his olympic gold winnings. He has videos on his youtube channel with eng subtitles explaining his life if you're interested.
What happened to him? No 2011, 2013, 2015-2017 WC performances. Great technique and a shame he didnt rack up all those medals if he competed. Like the Justin Gatlin of lifting.
Im pretty sure that the belarusian goverment stopped funding him, or drastically cut his paycheck. On his youtube channel were he started posting his comeback videos in 2017. He said that he was paid 100 bucks a month.
According to him, he only competed when his records where in jeopardy of getting broken. Which means, he had the career he intended to do. Max potential? Yes, we wished that another prodigy like him at the time pushed him to compete at full strength (yup you read that well). His total at Beijing 08 (200/236) in the former -105 kg class is still higher than the one in the current -109 kg class. His senior records were also juniors records (even Ilyn didn’t do it)…And he did all of that as a 20 years old boy teenager. Not only a real talent. He was the greatest 105 kg lifter of his era. And arguably one of best weightlifters of all time. He’s the most talented weightlifter I’ve ever seen (he was stronger than Ilyn).
@@09thespecialone Agree, there are some absurd videos of him in training floating around the interwebz like his snatch grip push press/snatch balance at 240kg for a triple IIRC ... Absolute beast
He said that someone owed him money, and they couldn't pay it, but they had a LOT of those tshirts, so he accepted that as a partial payment. So he has a ton of them and is wearing them. 😄
Was the 280 snatch grip power jerk from behind or in front of the neck, and is there any proof? Not because I dont believe it, because I want to see it!
I have seen the video on the ytube......some russian channel years ago.....there were also those 205 and 210 snatches on that channel......amazing lifts.....amazing lifter!!
These videos with commentary are one of a kind. Sets your content a part.
I agree. They are best contemporary weightlifting videos on the internet IMO.
Have to agree. His voice is relaxing af #nohomo
Andrei: Please don't film me.
WH: Really thankful I got back in time to film him XD
Mojo wonder if aramnau has the same attitude with WADA.

Martirosyan vs Aramnau is going to be great to watch for sure!

That last picture of you with Ilya is so precious. It must be such a great memory :)
First time meeting him, was awesome. I'm currently sat drinking tea with him right now!
@@WeightliftingHouse so cool!!
@@WeightliftingHouse Living the life, mate!
You're the best lift commentator.
I always liked the way Aramnau does most of his training lifts as speed doubles and triples.
There's a video of him muscle snatching 90 kg for 10 quick reps
I'm not a weightlifter, but your commentary is so interesting I'm really enjoying watching your videos! Keep up the good work!
I find his snatch to be the most beautiful in the history of the game. And I really mean of all time.
I say if God was weightlifting, he'd have AA's techinque. 😄
favourite lifter currently competing
This guy is jacked , plus hughley talented .
More Aramnau videos as well as Lasha Talakhadze and Fernando Reiss videos .
Thanks in advance
Lined up my monkey double backflip friend... lined up
Andrei: Please don't film me.
WH: *ignores that* Really thankful I got back in time to film him XD
WH - you have these videos really locked in! Again, well done! Please keep them coming for us weightlifting addicts.
That is a beautiful snatch. So pleasing to watch
Keep the videos coming..you’re the true champ!
What an inspiration!
The 109 snatch session was so good. A shootout for the WR.
Yes! Thank you so much for this
Worth the rewatch
fantastic. i love these stories/ thank you
He’s back and yes watch out rest of the world is head peaked up 2020 Olympics
Martin Fiay Sr I hope he gets to go to the olympics
Bruh. imagine if his head didn't buble and stayed humble. Imagine that! 210 snatch 245 cj? Most probably.
How dose this channel not have millions of subscribers
Excellent video, Seb! Please keep them coming!
Crazy how his knees track in when he comes up when squatting....
maybe just bone structure and thats what feels right and works for him?🤷🏻♂️
Yes absolutely Andrei we see you in Tokyo and first place 🥇 💪🏻👌
Sorry, djuraev gold
Love these videos! Also just was wondering why your into music is?
I need that Belarusian weightlifting shirt
that 200-236 numbers u say in the end he was still junior 20 yo and not 21 and this numbers were junior wr also back then until the bw cat changed
Whats a synthetic cannabinoid?
His foot movement in the snatch is very similar to Clarence kennedy
Clips?? Never seen lifters using those in training halls!
Those confused me as well for a minute
No doubt in my mind if he could of had 4th attempts in Beijing, would of hit 202-203 and 240
Anyone know what he was doing during his 8 years away from competition?

What is your intro music??
Neoc its Aramnau playing a trumpet and other various musical instruments

BTW Another great video!

hahahaah :D
He’s got that chernobyl radiation strength
Давай братан . Пацики с Борисова за тобой☦️☦️☦️
Looking at those 210kg pulls vs the 190kg pulls... It's not impossible for him to snatch it

who tf dislikes this.
I dunno, maybe some loud quarter squatting immobile fat slobs dressed in some circus-y equipments
andrei has a cool tshirt
that chernobyl story is unbelievable and now i believe radioactive exposure does create mutants with six fingers and superhuman strength
So cool
Real world hulk. Chernobyl mutated his DNA to be super powerful.
Why do his heels come up in the first pull?
Danny B Long because you are not Aryamnov😁
Just a type of belarus technique
Happens for many lifters. Pressure on mid/front foot, stay away from heels.
Whos the oldest active international lifter?
Lu Xiaojun
Aramnau was a real talent for the sport.
