    When I get tired of the same compliment bullshit and cheap vanity videos I go to the cozy environment of this channel for the recommendations of two english gentlemen who truly love this art. Thank you, guys.

    I never clicked on a video so fast! I’m so glad you guys spoke about these two new Prin fragrances. I actually blind bought varuek bc Prin really can’t do wrong when it comes to animalics. It’s absolutely stunning, and I agree… very sexy. I’m usually not a fan of cannabis fragrances but I requested a sample of ganja kasturi and oh my…. I was blown away. I definitely did get aldehydes too and it instantly transported me to the top of a lush, green mountain surrounded by fog. It’s one I hope to get soon. Thanks guys for sharing your thoughts. I always look forward to your videos…. Ok back to watching!

    I sampled Varuek and immediately had to have a full bottle. Predatory Mammal in it's den in the deep forest, Prin does it again, simply outstanding.

    Prin is now one of my favourite perfumeurs. I own Arsalan, one of my all time loves. Mriga is amazing too plus every sample I've smelled by him. Varuek and Punk I've got to try next.

    The famous rare deer in Nepal is called Kasturi. Thé smoking weed in Nepal is called Ganja. I wonder if Prin went to Nepal in the 70s and 80s to experience the so called Nirvana 😊 Im also fan of Prin’s work although Rassurrier his early perfume I did not like at all. I still have the bottle. I’m intrigued by these ones mentioned here. Thanks Dan & Jo for yet another great video

    I just had THE BEST idea for a richly satisfying April Fool's Day Joke for 2022: talk up a gourmand fragrance with great enthusiasm. I mean, really lose yourself in a high velocity, hyperbolic, frothy purple frenzy of analogies and olfactory descriptions and make sure to include a lot of sighs and eyes-to-the-sky facial expressions to denote the dreamiest, creamiest of sweet revelries. Then when the person's face starts to light up and they offer you their unspoilt, innocent wrist, spray them with Haxan by Parfum Prissana. HAHAHA! :D The recipient's facial expression would surely be the perfect meme of disgust and bafflement. To understand how much fun this prank would be please read the description courtesy of the house itself, of the brief given to Prin Lomros and the eventual finished product itself:
    "Häxan is an ode to the ancient practices of sorcery, magic, alchemy and witchcraft. It is inspired by Benjamin Christensen’s 1922 seminal film on this subject. The perfume uses over 100 ingredients that are traditionally represented in potions and elixirs associated with these practices. Created as a bespoke perfume for Rajesh Balkrishnan by Prin Lomros, Häxan is a dark witchy fougere style perfume which incorporates dark woody and aromatic elements on a mossy bed representative of the ambience of the smells of places where dark occult ceremonies were conducted. The perfume uses three blends of natural lavender oil surrounded by woody resinous birch, cedar, fir, guaiac, cypriol, sandalwood, wormwood, styrax and pine needle. The perfume includes spicy and herbal notes of saffron, thyme, rosemary, black pepper, nutmeg, caraway, cinnamon, violet leaf, tobacco, mushroom, basil, marjoram, and vetiver. Also present are faint animalic notes of civet, leather, musk, castoreum, beeswax, seaweed and hyrax that finally lead to a mossy powdery bed of moss, patchouli, labdanum, jasmine, olibanum, opoponax, chamomile, and galbanum. The perfume exudes an air of aromatic mystery and is a shape shifting marvel that ebbs and flows in alternate hues of dark and light. In spite of its dense and dark notes, this is a surprisingly wearable and light concoction that takes you on a ride into the dark unknown of magic and ancient practices of the surreal considered heretic and profane."

    Good review guys! Did anyone recognise the similarities between Varuek and Guerlains Bois Mysterieux? Feels very similar to me, so I picked Homa over Varuek.

    Kasturi means musk in Sanskrit,hindi and a lot of other languages derived from it.

    for the record, i have and ADORE "Arsalan." "Anatolia" is a mixed-bag for me, but i'm growing to appreciate it more. "Varuek" is simply too smoky for me, to the point where the smoke is a hindrance. in a nutshell: a fragrance whose smokiness incarcerates the oud and other notes, unfortunately.

    I don't know how the import costs changed following Brexit, but in the past it would have cost me VAT on (price plus postage), AND a £12 Parcelforce handling fee. If that regime still applies, Bloom's £75 looks cheap?

    • @WaftsfromTheLoft
      @WaftsfromTheLoft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheaper than the alternative, but $80 does not equal £75

    • @Telssa1
      @Telssa1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WaftsfromTheLoft No, but it doesn't equal $80 either, when the object is in Kuala Lumpur.
