    OEM OG Xbox Component Cables are still going for 50-60 dollars on eBay in UK

      Wow! That’s quite the premium. Cheers!

    That Supergun was the highlight, it probably works fine too seeing as the only issue was that they didn’t have any boards to test on it.

      Yeah, it was a solid piece of hardware, and totally unexpected. Cheers!

    Cool hunt eheh...the ps1 parodius game u were holding in ur hand is Gokujou Parodius Da! not Sexy parodius though...Kat's run is a mode 7 racing game starring japanese K-cars..the sfc Parodius is Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius or Chat Parodius (as i call it myself eheh)...that SG-1000 game with a jetpack guy on the cover is H.E.R.O. :P A game quite popular on the Atari 2600 :D Very good deal with that junk PCE Duo R...i paid about 4 times that price for my loose one+ 1 joypad xD

    • @RetroReWire
      @RetroReWire  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Parodius series is vast it seems. Hopefully a collection gets released on modern hardware.
      The Duo R definitely made my day. And as always thanks for the insight, cheers!

      I imagine it’s a resellers wet dream! I still remember the Goodwill shops in Oregon around 2012. They had stacks of Sega, Nintendo, PS1, etc. It was a great time, cheers!

    Those prices are sick. Can’t get a 3DS for less than $250 in the US. It’s also crazy to think that Sony made PS2 in so many colors
    7:58 Yoshi game was on Gameboy also probably the manual is the same for both

      The 3DS scene is crazy back home. The thing sold millions worldwide yet it’s a different story between JP and the USA. Cheers!

      When I head out to the kansai region again, I'll definitely film a few Hard Off videos! In the meantime, I'll be posting game hunting videos from the Kanto area. Hope you have a great trip, cheers!

    Hi J J . Any advice where can we get English titled 2nd hand console games like 3ds etc? in Tokyo or Osaka? thanks!

    • @RetroReWire

      In Osaka, the Surugaya in Denden town has a small import section that may have ENG 3DS titles.

      In Tokyo, Trader HQ has an import section on the 2nd floor that typically has a few ENG 3DS games in stock.

    Hey JJ, could you help me please? I will be in Japan may 13, just one day after the release of the new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Do you know where is a good place to find that sweet collector's edition? I've been checking online, and seems that there are stores such as BIC CAMERA, that might have the game (aside from pre-order ofc)
    Also, nice content as always, love the N64 sections and the glass rare game/consoles.

    • @RetroReWire
      @RetroReWire  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would check GEO Hypermedia shop, Amazon japan (they can deliver to your hotel, Airbnb), BIC and Yodabashi. Cheers!

    Wow! what did you use to clean the console? It's a total transformation! Nice work

    • @RetroReWire
      @RetroReWire  ปีที่แล้ว

      I used a few things: a magic eraser, water, soap and a micro fiber cloth. I was very careful when using the magic eraser. The cleaning took about 40 mins. Cheers!

    What did you use to clean that PC Engine Duo R? It looks amazing!

      Thanks! I used a magic eraser (mind you very lightly) soap, water and a micro fiber cloth. It took about 40 mins or so. Cheers!

    JJ, could you help me with a doubt?
    So, is it my impression or is hard to find lightguns in your hunts? Actually, I dont remember if I saw lightguns (saturn, dreamcast guns and etc) in your videos
    At last, thanks for one more nice episode! Have a good week, bro!

    • @RetroReWire
      @RetroReWire  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Light guns are quite easy to find. In the previous episode, I featured a Virtua Gun, Konami Blaster and a Guncon. Prices range from ¥500-¥10,000, with the Famicom revolver light gun typically being the most expensive. Sometimes you can find them complete with box in the junk section. Cheers!

    Even common titles like AC4 can be expensive if they're unopened.

    • @RetroReWire
      @RetroReWire  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a good point. Hard Off has a few sealed PS1 titles on their website. The asking price on some of these games is a lot higher than I expected. Cheers!

      There are Game Boy controllers busy Hori for the SNES and Game Cube. Cheers!
