Это аварийная сигнализация оборудования прошитая в громкоговорителях (Там еще Калинка-Малинка есть). Кто работал на производстве поймет о чем я. Но в Японии все равно неожиданно.
Tesla can only dream of a factory that runs this smooth & churns out a steady stream of cars like Nissan. A car that doesn't come with maligned panels, crack glass or faulty touchscreens, and a car that makes a profit for its parent company.
They kept most of the previous production line :) the shell is the same, different guards, I dare say you could swap the front drive train and battery into an old one.
Only Affordable by American standards? In the UK or Europe that $35.000 is pricey when a Leaf can cost £16.000p to £24.000p that is our idea a affordable mass produced electric car! sorry also the Leaf is the top selling electric car in the world and has been well before the Tesla model 3 was designed or built? So yes the Tesla model 3 is great and good range But not the 1st mass produced electric car.. the leaf was.
Governments should push to a "only electric vehicles on our roads" to 2020, everybody knows the tech is there, it's just a matter of personal interest over public interest now.... Great job Nissan keeping pushing electric mobility forward and autonomous vehicles. Now, ------------------------------------- ! MAKE MORE OF THEM ! -------------------------------------------
Unfortunately our current president is pro coal and pro destroying our environment, His EPA chief is taking away protection for clean air and water. Our government is a bad example to the rest of the Wold, Pulling out of the Paris accord which is a benefit to all humanity, I am ashamed to call myself an American.
Hans Roes you will want to wait for the x trail Beverly! Reasons? Most suv and off road vehicles will be able to be remotely controlled via your phone and an app so you can get out of the vehicle and from your perspective judge ground clearance and even locking the diffs remotely if required! How cool is that ;)
Tbh even though the screen on the Model 3 is way bigger, the interior in the Leaf looks much more pleasing and functional to me. I like having actual buttons for things like the climate control. The model 3 interior is way too minimalistic. I've test driven the Model S before and having to go through the touch screen menu while you're driving just to turn on the ac or open the sunroof was incredibly annoying.
@@alii303 I said they will make them faster and cheaper, as they do with BMW X5s and many other models (most of which are near exact look alikes, but not exact replicas... you get the look not the performance or quality). At no point did I say I had a preference.
Yeah, I'm waiting for the crash testing by IHSI. That front bumper seems to be narrow and I'm skeptical as to how it will fare in the small overlap test.
I like that the Nissan Leaf is bigger. It probably gives up about 10% mileage because of that. But, I think it will be more comfortable. My only concern is the lack of active battery management. Early Leaf's were notorious for battery degradation. Has that problem been fixed?
I can see here a shocking high level of uncontrolled manual work. As soon as Teslas Model 3 "machine that makes the machine" will run, we all will see the difference - and why Elon ist talking about "production hell".
Not a ring tone, with most Asian factories, any moving robot or machine that can be dangerous to humans, will play a tune when it moves, always 80's songs, I worked in a Japanese factory in the UK for 6 years and it was very entertaining, we changed the songs to Rudolf the red nose reindeer every Christmas.
While the Leaf maybe a great EV, I see many people comparing it to the Tesla Model 3, and let me tell you, buying a Leaf over a Model 3 is the equivalent of shooting yourselves in the foot. Specially when both are priced so comparatively. The Leaf uses non-standard prismatic battery cells, these have next to nothing resale value & can't be 'reused' unlike the 2170 cells used by Tesla, which retain 70% charge capacity after the period of ownership of the car, and can be used & integrated in industrial scale energy storage projects extremely easily & at a cheaper cost than for them to buy newly manufactured ones, which means it'll hold it's value way better. Unlike gasoline, which leaves no trace upon consumption other than emissions, batteries are simply a combination of certain minerals packed together, and are quite the same as they were when new. This means, *even when you'd have to scrap the Model 3 after 10-15 years of use just like any other car, you'd still be able to sell the cells for a cool $3,000-$5,000.* Nissan is counting on the fact that people wouldn't know what to do with this certain bit of information, and thus wouldn't include it when making the purchase decision, but a car is almost always a long-term proposition, and it's financially rewarding to treat it that way. Not to mention, if you're like the average driver having a low-volume use case, in a few years time with the *Tesla Network* - a Uber like service that'd allow your self-driving car to make money for you by driving people around, much like Uber but the car will drive by itself while making you money, you'd quite literally be able to earn more than the monthly payments for the car and at no extra effort! Moreover, buying a Tesla vehicle is more than just getting a car, it's more like a membership to an exclusive club. Not only will you get constant feature refreshes by way of software updates, but also access to their Supercharger network. I really can't justify buying something that's as much of a compromise when the Tesla is available at the same cost.
Zubin B. What price comparatively? You will never see the 35k model 3. When you see it, there will be better cars at the same price. Model 3 costs 49k now minimum
You can really see this is an old plant as when the car got trough te testing part on the dymo the exhaust vent came up. Think these workers are glad their working enviroment got less messy without these fumes, gas & oil spills. Must say Nissan really seems to pay attention to detail. Some things i noticed is that Tesla made the paint robots with hooks on them to open and close the doors/ hood. But Nissan has 2 people doing the insides as their robot's can't do that. That's some clever stuff from Tesla.
Different approach to labor. Japan has 120+ million people on a small chain of islands... this is how they keep their population employed. They don't have the contract culture, and as much as automation has taken over - it's very bad publicity to lay people off. People take notice of those sort of labor practices, unlike US where Apple can shut it all down, offshore all their plants to avoid labor and enviro laws... and the Liberals will queue up for weeks. Meanwhile, the Conservatives will spend all day ranting about Communists and then effectively fund CCP buying iPhones too.
this is very interesting, the new battery looks exactly the same shape and size of the old 24kWh one : look at th-cam.com/video/6CGMGDK9_SY/w-d-xo.html
Hope they bring the e-Nv200 also with the new battery on the market soon. The Leaf is not big enough, its a small car with limited trunk space. Also the seat position is not high enough when you transport handicapped peoples. The car industry thinks not practical, they think like babies.
Actually, I've been driving Nissan cars for 15 years now and I've always been happy with the space I have in them. With my >1m90 I'm not a small person yet I fit nicely in the driver's seat. I had to drive a Ford for a few months (company car) and hated every second of it. That car did not fit me. Which is strange since Americans are bigger than Japanese people. The Leaf is a small city car. That's what it is designed for. If you need room, you need to look at the bigger vehicles like the Qashqai and X-trail. Look through Nissan's range (not just on the local website or dealership but online on e.g. Wikipedia) and you'll be amazed at how versatile the line-up of the company really is and how little of the entire line-up most of the world actually gets to see.
They dont sell it here because Americans wont buy it. Look what happened with the Skyline (Q50) Hybrid in the US - the retards were still buying the 3.7L engine despite being significantly slower and less efficient because retards couldn't grasp the concept. This is the country that elected Trump.
No - if everything is embedded under the car like Tesla, its much more time consuming to repair. Good for high end luxury cars, not so good for mass market cars. Better to have important components in engine bay where it can be easily accessed.
I bought and still own a first generation LEAF. I love the car but won't ever buy another Nissan because the paintwork is absolutely terrible and has been from day 1. You can scratch it with your fingernail and Nissan don't care. Once they've got your money that's it as far as Nissan are concerned. My next car will be a Toyota.
Danyal A. Dude, the cost of the parts are very expensive. Not to mention the battery, motor, software and everything. They had to cover costs like R&D, software optimization, factory workers, taxes, emission taxes, electric bills, advertising, services, prototype testing, warranties and so on. It's not just like picking parts off the scrapyard and build a heap out of it... Don't talk price when you don't know the making behind it.
The battery pack of the original Leaf at introduction was a cost of $18k. While production today has increased and prices have dropped, they haven't dropped that much that you would have a much bigger capacity at a fraction of the cost today. Your $15k would therefore just get you the battery.

This is one seriously good looking car, but I just can't get over Nissan's inverted mustache grille. It just ruins the looks of the whole car! Nevertheless, still a major improvement over the previous generation!
Yeah, all that technology and the redesign is nice! HOWEVER!! The problem is Nissan still has NOT corrected the Leaf's weak point! And that is, that the charge socket is STILL located at the front of the car!! WTF??? Stats have proved 99% of slow speed accidents are nose to tail! So if a car runs into the back of the Leaf, and the Leaf hits the car in front damaging the front of the Leaf, how do you charge it? Guess what EINSTEIN, YOU CAN'T!!!
Jannet Hudson I've leased a 2012 leaf and currently lease a 2016 leaf and my only issue is with fast battery degradation, hopefully next generation has longer lasting batteries. I'm going with a tesla model 3 in 2019.
I think a front charging port is more practical to reach with the plug. I appreciate having mine in the front and would be disappointed if Nissan relocated it. Even if your stats are true, if the collision is severe enough to damage the charge ports, there's a good chance there would be other damage and you probably wouldn't be charging or driving the LEAF until that damage was fixed. The Nissan LEAF has been out for 6 years and I have never heard of the situation you raise being an issue.
For starters, after 15 years of driving, I've never had a collision. If a car runs into the back of the Leaf then the backend is also damaged. If the front is so damaged that you can't access the charge port anymore the car will probably no longer be road worthy anyway. So why bother charging it? You need to get it repared or replaced.
If it's in an accident like that, why are you worried about charging? It's going to the dealer for Insurance and/or Warranty repair. Only Tesla would have to worry about charging it and limping to some fly-by-night "certified" repair place.
Don't buy it! Nissan customer service will not help you with any glitches in all that technology. Currently own a Leaf that the Telematics 3G module causes the 12v battery to go dead. No fix. Says they are working on it. Telematics died on 1 January 2017 and I'm still dealing with it even after paying $199 for an "upgrade" just to get telematics working again on my car -in warranty. Was told today that they are "aware" that there is a problem but no end in site, not going to get my $199 back either. Check the forums.
Our generation is quite fortunate to have access to use such well engineered stuff en masse.
The foundation for it was layed at late 19th century.
Next generation will say the same

It is great for normal parking spaces (doesn't intrude to the side). I have no issue with it.

Its a crap car where a million things can go wrong with it unlike the Tesla
SpAceX Fan teslas are fucking gay dude
This is the future plus nissan has been making cars way longer
Cant afford one can you?
The only reason they are buying this is cause they cant afford a Tesla. Its a begger car
@Rickie j That explains why Nissan stopped making them and is shrinking while Tesla is getting bigger by the day lol
The factory looks old and dingy compared to Tesla's
That's because they've made millions of cars there. Tesla's factories will begin to look like that after a few years.
Newer looking factory doesn't equal better quality product.
In brazil we have a famous quote: "Old pans makes better food".
raine2005 is that why Tesla cars have misaligned panels?
