      Hopefully the video was useful, in terms of the cost of charging, you should be able to get your provider to tell you how much or estimate the cost of one kilowatt of electricity, if you can find this out then when you charge the vehicle hypothetically from 0 to 100% it requires 40 kW unless you have gone for the 64 kWh battery which requires 64 kW , Does that make sense to you?

    Did Nissan change the steering wheel that you can adjust it closer or further from you ?

    • @doolanbrian
      @doolanbrian  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Reggie .. I’m pretty sure it has that function .. I must check tomorrow or am I incorrect ??

    Hi Brian did you check on the steering wheel ?

      Hey Reggie ! Totally forgot .. I can check Monday .. sorry Unless I write things in my diary I always forget 😣😣

    • @doolanbrian
      @doolanbrian  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Reggie, so I only checked and realised, you can only adjust the steering wheel height wise but it doesn’t have the depth function, it’s pretty unusual these days but yes it appears that there is no telescopic function on this particular model of leaf!

    I remember the old Nissan Leafs 2010-2015 were absolutely awful, cheap boring plasticy interior with a crap real world range of 140 odd km, and everyone got stuck behind them on a Motorway, they are soo much better now, really good spec on it, I’m personally not a massive fan of the Leaf but they are a lot better than they used to be, I kinda could say that with all electric cars really

    • @doolanbrian
      @doolanbrian  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hear what you are saying, there still seems to be an off a lot of them around! Even the older ones I still see people importing them, I suppose for some people who don’t do much driving they are useful and for other people they might fill the gap as a good second car in the house!

    does the car battery degrade over time..similar to a smartphone battery?

    • @doolanbrian
      @doolanbrian  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the car can degrade , most manufacturers allow for 30% degradation while it’s under warranty , thanks for watching!

      @@liambourke6871 I am not aware of a specific lifespan so you could get problems but it’s not frequent 🙂
