The reason I watch and look forward to these "Break 90" videos is to cheer you on and see you triumph! Even though you haven't yet I still appreciate the psychological aspects you share during the round. Love the content EAL.

These vlogs make you more relatable than you already are. Who doesn't feel your pain watching this? I rarely play anything over 7,000 yards. Last time was in Mesquite NV., 7,600 yds dessert course. Got to 13 and wanted to go home. Playing like this occasionally, gives you perspective of just how good the pro's really are. Even in perfect conditions this track still would have been a major challenge. Kudos for hanging in there and for filming your frustration. So much respect! I'm sure we would all love to see more of these, even though they are painful for you!

Bigger egos might not have put the video out! Cheers
Zach said it... He is 100% correct... You have thousands of golfers watching you that are grateful to see someone they can relate to. Only a couple of channels I get excited about new content.

Dude, what a shitty day for golf. Hat off to you for putting yourself out there for our entertainment as i know that could not have been an enjoyable day for you. In weather like that, breaking 100 is a win man. We are only mortal. Love your stuff. ✊
If you wonder why I watch this type of video it’s because of the last hole. Golf can beat you up and get you down then for what ever stupid reason it gives you a hug and sends you on the way reminding you that even when we are at our lowest in life there is always a glimmer of hope to just keep moving forward. Thanks for doing the Vlog Eric I know it was tough but it made my day when you birdied 18.
Love it. You're a great golfer and had a bad day, and had the courage to show it to us. We all play that way and the youtubers who don't publish the bad videos are missing out on connecting with the vast majority of us. Thank you.
I never thought this was about you playing golf man, I thought it was more like “watch me struggle at what the pros will make seem like cake”. After watching you play pebble, I was in awe at how the pros played and talked about how easy pebble was for a us open. Keep up the videos
I know you don’t like these kind of vlogs but we do and you made it happen, thank you for that. And I’m proud of you for continuing to grind man, I get happy when I shoot in the 90’s at my local club and you did it on an amazingly hard course be proud of that!
Wow kudos for sticking it out man. Great video and editing/teamwork. Pretty sure i would have broke my clubs all in half after the first nine....Hell I almost broke all my clubs just watching you!
This video is just, REAL. I feel like I was living every shot with you! You must have wondered whether you were even going to persist after the struggles off the first tee but I’m so glad you did. Absolutely top quality content.
I really can empathize with you, having experienced this more times than I wish to remember. Congratulations on toughing it out, and maintaining some sort of sense of humor by the end. Cheers.
That was fantastic. Encapsulates how some of my rounds have been going recently. Especially trying to battle on through the wind and rain when things are not going well, mistakes just compound on tough courses. That's real golf right there. If it wasn't for rounds like this, we wouldn't appreciate the good ones so much.
It's this kind of content that brings me back to your channel, Eric. I love this authentic stuff and you aren't selling anything or producing fluff. And this video is why golf is great because every time you step up to the tee you cultivate the feeling that you can go low or hell, even bogey every hole if that's relative success for you. If you shoot triple bogeys on every hole except for one that you par, you know you are capable of doing that. That's what brings us back to the game. Golf stands the test of time as a true challenge in a world where satisfaction and a feeling of success can be bought or sold and immediate gratification is the norm. Keep it up, Eric. I'd love to get a round in if you ever decide to come to Massachusetts.
Wow. I absolutely am in love with playing golf that early in the morning. The fog, the sound of birds, the views of the course, just amazing. Weekday mornings are best. I'm playing tomorrow morning (monday) at 740am. Working hard to hopefully play in some amateur tournaments eventually
Erik, it was a triumph over adversity. We are used to playing in these conditions, glad you found the rain gloves, they save you from the cold in Summer. Irony is it was probably lovely weather the next day. I empathise as a golfer who plays max once a month, I have such great anticipation each time I tee up, but rhythm & timing seem to be mistresses of the practise swing alone. What a birdie to finish though. Loved the fact you shred it. Thanks Rod
Great video Erick the OB or lost ball rule you are looking for is the local rule new to 2019. You can still use the old rule go back to where you hit the ball and take one stroke. The local rule you estimate where It went OB or was lost take it back to the edge of the fairway take to clubs and drop no closer to the hole taking a two stroke penalty.
From one 5 handicapper to another, I have been watching quite a few of your videos the last few weeks and have enjoyed all of them. This one I enjoyed with a certain amount of sadistic pleasure (I have been where you were this day). But I did glean one observation from this video Erik. You seemed to be belting the crap out of the ball instead of your normal fluid swing. It’s great to see content from you being someone of similar golfing ability. Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing more.
This is potentially my favourite TH-cam golf video I’ve watched. Everything about the game that drives us crazy in one round, but still enough for us to come back tomorrow. I’ll feel better now next time I go O.B. off the 1st tee in a Medal. The resulting putt for double will be my momentum builder. You still secretly enjoyed it EAL haha
I think most people like playing for score because it’s fulfilling, and most weekend warriors probably don’t get that test of skill and excitement of fulfilling what their mind though that could do. “I knew I could do it”. I felt this one, because I’ve been there. I saw my self when you half threw your club, though my club throws are at Olympic level by now. The birdie on the last was perfect. And honestly, in those conditions it was still a great round I’d say. Head up big dog. 🤙🏼
Hi Erik, I have watched this particular video 3 times now and no matter how, I cant but help feel your pain and frustration which reaches its summit around (17.30 in) when your head is that scrambled your mind cannot process how you are to proceed within the rules of golf. Much to the point that you don't even care. Yet only moments ago you were talking about maybe bagging a birdie. This sums up the great game that is golf, so many ups and downs. We have and will have more days like yours that day but that's why we keep on going because we hope the next day or next hole will be better than the one before. That's why you birdied the last, if the great golfing god wanted to finish you, your score would have been a double bogey. But he never kicks a man or women when they are down. What you did take out the day was you did not quit which is so very typical of you and why I look forward to watching your creations. Its not all about soft angles, good views and nice pastel colours, its about you travelling the globe with great friends doing what you love but more importantly its about the day to day challenges you put yourself through. Hope your staying safe and healthy at what is a very challenging time for us all. They say golf is just a game but boy what a game, its life.. Keep well Mark
I feel your pain had a game a weeks after a Spanish open. Just rolling of the fairway resulted in a lost ball(no spotters or crowd to guide me) . But reflecting on it I loved it tested me probably beyond my limits. Keep up the good work
Is this one of the first videos, it's awesome, retro Erik! This is for sure the oldest one I have watched and its hard to know where to begin. One part of me wants laugh and one part cry. I can see exactly why Erik has become such a great presenter and entertainer, and golfer. This is like speed golf with an angry standup comedian. Being from Scotland myself and from a part with much less pleasant weather than this I am not sure what the big deal is, seems like weather just brings the divas out of Americans or Texans. I see similar things in this from the videos released recently, firstly 100% pro editing, the video on this might not be HQ but the editing is! The rhetoric is and you can tell Erik has a plan to make it entertaining. Its great TV. Somehow his commentary during Cabo makes more sense now 🤣
You should rewatch your video from when you tried this at Pebble Beach. The caddie “suggested” that you focus on the playing of golf rather than focusing on the score.
Maybe one of the most open and honest games of golf I have ever seen. Raw emotion and can truly sum up “one of those days”. If only that sausage would of came a lot sooner in the round. Morale boosting sausage 😂
EAL plays the everyday golfer game and isn't frightened to show it to the world. This is the reality of golf for EAL, you, me and the neighbour next door. Brutal, unforgiving, honest. I love these video's.
We watch this video because this is a triumph and it gives us hope. We are the people, the real people with kids and jobs and school and dogs and all the other pieces of life. We dont have the option to play every day or hit 500 balls. We barely can squeak out the door twice a week to play and relax and forget the pressures of everyday life. We ARE your audience. I dont watch pro golf, it bores the hell out of me, its not relevent to average golfers. So, it is amazingly refreshing to see golf i can relate too…no…I’m nowhere even close to as good as you, but you do give me hope. The putt you made over the hill on the par 3, I’d still be bragging about that 6 months after the round. I do travel a lot and i have played some amazing courses around the world including Scotland and i can promise you if i break 100 on any one of them I’ll be absolutely thrilled. Mostly i just admire the creativity of the courses and conditions. So i can dig in and have fun. Keep going, give us hope, we need it…especially on those tuesday nights when there’s a PTA meeting and one of the kids has the flu and the dog just barfed on the new carpets and 9 out of my 12 golf buddies are out back on the course stopping by my house on the 7th green for free beers. Keep going, you are appreciated and you are our triumph.
That final birdie was the triumph we were all watching for. They were clearly difficult conditions on a difficult golf course. Well done, very few of us could have broken 100 in those conditions.
Painful to watch at times as so relatable, great video and kudos to you for trying, really shows how tough the set up is that you as a 5 handicap struggled - I wouldn't even attempt it as couldn't carry enough balls to even finish the round. Look forward to the next attempt!
Erik, I just found your channel after seeing the "Be the Ball" marker on Seamus Golf's website. Looking forward to the release of the movie and really enjoying your videos.
Jeezus, if that was a fight they would have stopped it! Good on ya for posting it in all it's brutality. Reminded me of my 1st club championship attempt. After 3 wild driver flares OB on the 1st tee, the pro stepped over and whispered "For the love of all that's holy, hit a f@**in 7 iron would ya".
That was just an angry rant from start to finish. Which is pretty much what my game on Saturday morning will be like!!! 🤣😂😢😠 The thing is, i'll be doing it all over again next week!!

I feel your pain had a game a weeks after a Spanish open. Just rolling of the fairway resulted in a lost ball(no spotters or crowd to guide me) . But reflecting on it I loved it tested me probably beyond my limits. Keep up the good work
We've all been there brother, that's the beauty of our game,. There are days that seem so bad, that make the good days great!
I couldn't help it. I laughed so hard when you hit the tree :D Keep the content coming Erik, this is great!
Nice beats in this one Erik!
Somehow his commentary during Cabo makes more sense now 🤣
This may be the most honest round of golf ever caught on film. For once, some one captured the point in time where I am at with golf. EAL.Thank you.
Also, might be the best caddie every.
Kinda nice to see its not just us average golfers that manage to hit trees, despite them only taking up 1% of our view. Great video Erik
You should rewatch your video from when you tried this at Pebble Beach. The caddie “suggested” that you focus on the playing of golf rather than focusing on the score.
We still always love watching your stuff! Inspiring as always!
That first hole is just legendary, 3 tee shots, finds first one, hits tree... just unreal stuff
Maybe one of the most open and honest games of golf I have ever seen. Raw emotion and can truly sum up “one of those days”. If only that sausage would of came a lot sooner in the round. Morale boosting sausage 😂
Unreal video! Awesome content, real golf and sick editing. Best piece of your art so far?
Keep going, you are appreciated and you are our triumph.
first 15 seconds and summed up the feeling of every weekend golfer on the planet... well done my guy!
That final birdie was the triumph we were all watching for. They were clearly difficult conditions on a difficult golf course. Well done, very few of us could have broken 100 in those conditions.
Enjoyed watching. Reminds of my first golf experience in Ireland. And my weather was nice.
Not goin to lie, actually love playing in the Elements! It adds a different feel to the game for me... keep up the videos and living the dream!
Me too it's fun and challenging
That was very real and very raw! Loved it!
15:38 was the best shot all day. Fair play though more of these please
Chin up Erik. Love the videos. Like you said, pros play a different game. Takes a lot to put yourself out there. Well done. Better rounds to come!
Glad you decided to walk it, Erik 😉 AWESOME video!
You were legit pissed 😂😂 You have a lot of humility to be able to share this with us. Great content it shows us how inhumane these pros are.
Painful to watch at times as so relatable, great video and kudos to you for trying, really shows how tough the set up is that you as a 5 handicap struggled - I wouldn't even attempt it as couldn't carry enough balls to even finish the round. Look forward to the next attempt!
This was fantastic. Means more than I can express
I literally laughed so hard at 4:00 since you warmed me up with the port-rough joke loool
After 3 wild driver flares OB on the 1st tee, the pro stepped over and whispered "For the love of all that's holy, hit a f@**in 7 iron would ya".
lol
"Extreme conditions"
Looks like a fairly good spring day for Scotland to be fair
I feel your pain EAL. In fact, I feel that kind of pain every week!! Great video. Love the content and keep it coming.
Amen to golf with this one. Thanks for putting your struggle out there, keep up the hard work bud!
That was just an angry rant from start to finish. Which is pretty much what my game on Saturday morning will be like!!! 🤣😂😢😠 The thing is, i'll be doing it all over again next week!!
Dude please keep making this style of video. I love this shit. Imo the break 90 videos are some of your best.
Hey Erik! what's the song that starts at 13:27?
Bump! Did you ever find out?
Fantastic video as always EAL. Thanks for torturing yourself for us. Having said that, I'm super jelly you get to play all these amazing courses.
