I’ll take the ball thanks! Seriously, the fact you guys show the good, the bad and the ugly makes your channel so genuine and relatable. What a golf course.
Recently started watching your channel as I started getting into/back into golf, and one of my favorite parts of watching your channel is seeing the grace with which you handle the frustrating days. I've never enjoyed watching golf as much as I do on your channel!
About 6 years ago I was privileged enough toe spend a weekend at Muirfield. Played the course 6 times in the span of 3 days (played 75 on my own ball for one, the others were all foursomes). Playing a course like this is like having a match on the centre court of Wimbledon or playing football at Camp Nou. Just unreal and something that I'll remember for the rest of my life.
I love this format. Always great to switch things up a bit. Like seeing the boys in some trickier situations but I do understand why scrambles are better content.
Your knowledge and passion for golf history makes these videos so much more interesting, playing historical courses like this, giving us viewers something more to take away from these vidoes than just a golf video. Great vidoes!! Keep up the good work!
I have played Muirfield on a trip to Scotland many years ago as well as all the other great courses . Gotta say Carnoustie was far and away the most difficult course of all including all the state side venues . The highlight of my trip was having Tip Anderson as my caddie for the week and being made an Honorary Member of The Royal an Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews which allowed me to go into the club and have a few drinks with members . It was quite an experience . Hearing you describe the tradition of foursomes brought back memories . I was amazed at how the members played so quickly in foursomes . The man teeing off had his partner awaiting in the fairway which then played while the man who hit the tee shot would hopscotch around and be waiting around the green to play his partners approach . They would play in around 2 and1/2 hours . It was great .
Love the break 75s and the variety of formats you guys play! Also love the banter between Rick and Guy. Even though you can tell y’all are frustrated, you keep it light and friendly which makes the whole thing more enjoyable. Keep up the great work!
Rick watching his chipping video is class. Also wouldn’t say no to the marked ball if you’re still giving it away. Love the work boys, golf is really hard
between the podcast and now pre dinner drinks and this video... you two have been in my ears all day. enjoy the event at the Centrurion this weekend...
Keeping the same ball the whole round and breaking 80 in this format is definitely a challenge. It was very entertaining watching you guys navigate around this historic course. Another great video, well done!
Played the Coubtry Club in my hometown yesterday and first time I didn't lose the ball I started with! Love this channel! Iona is a spectacular guest. Guy is the best as well.
Definitely a tough format today, but still fun for me to watch. Days like that my go to thought of the day is, the best golfer is the one who had the most fun! Keep em coming.
I love watching these guys golf. The banter, the good feelings having a good time. Love the sausage roll reviews. And the camera work and the editing are so phenomenal. I will always watch new videos. Love ya Rick! Love ya Guy! Thank you for keeping me entertained and it is so nice to watch when there is 3 feet of snow on the ground. So happy for having this channel. 😁😁😁😁😁
What an honour to be invited for lunch and showed round the place. Golf wasn’t the best but still enjoyed the video immensely. You two make a great team on camera. A better scramble team than a foursomes though 😂
Rick utters two little words “from Wish” and suddenly Guy turns into a potty mouth?? 🤣 I was so caught off guard I had to rewind it 3 times to make sure I was hearing what I thought I was hearing! Great banter, boys. Love Break 75! You guys should give away the ball that makes the final putt from every Break 75. What a great keepsake for fans since, you know, we can’t buy merch yet. Honestly, you’ve been saying merch is coming since nearly the beginning of the podcast! It’s worse than waiting for the damn review studio!😆 Great work as usual to you and your team, Rick!
So much fun to watch! Yes, I have seen both of you play better, but let's face it, The struggle was real and you had fun. Guys, that is the best part of golf. Thank you for every miss, every oops, every short put. Great fun Steve from Hitching, now in the states
as always chaps, a really great video that shows a lower-than-average golfer like me that bad days are OK... you can learn from every round! Thanks for the great content!
Great job, fellas. Not easy to play alternate shot! Thoroughly enjoyed this video. I played an alternate shot round with a buddy in high school. It was one of my favorite rounds of all time.
Just started my golf ball collection last week (new case and all). First par 5 chip in eagle, first par 5 putt eagle, first par 4 hole out eagle, first round of under par (-1) on a par 3 course, and first round under par (-1) on a par 36 course. Would LOVE to add, Rick and Guy's Muirfield not lost 4somes golf ball to that case! Love all the content! Subscribed to all of your channels! Thanks!
I've been watching Rick Shiels sporadically for years now, since he was on a 100k subscribers, and I've alway enjoyed his presentation, his honesty, humour and humility. I found him because he was doing a video at the course where I learned to play, West Lancs in Liverpool. His craft as a presenter, his charm and thus ability to land top notch venues and guests -and his team's production, editing and direction skills have knocked it out of the park. But, I just can't watch Rick swing a club anymore. It's that snatched pick-up on the backswing. After so long it's like nails on a blackboard for me now. A criss-cross hook/draw into the left side wilderness, a duffed approach brought about by the steep attack makes me want to scream. He was a registered teaching golf pro, for heaven's sake. I wish he'd do something about it. There was a period after he'd spent some time with a good teacher when he smoothed out his backswing and his striking and accuracy improved exponentially. Aside from that, I do enjoy the show.
@rickshielsPGA absolutely love the new studio and the overall concept. I’m a beginner to golf and this is really going to help and give me insight as I progress ! I have subscribed and excited about the new content. 👌👏👏 ⛳️
Noticed a new putter in Guy’s bag! As much as he is playing I wouldn’t mine a “what’s in the bag” from him! Love the channel and can’t wait for the new H.I.T. Studio videos
Played Muirfield twice, don’t think I appreciated it first time round. Best course I’ve ever played and soooo bloody hard when the wind is up. The greens are unreal and stupidly quick. Should be on every golfers bucket list. Another great video!
Thanks Rick and Guy, very entertaining, again. Your struggles make how pros go round courses like this in the 60's all the more amazing. Suggestion for future content... how about playing rounds with a top caddy? I'd be really interested to learn about how they work and what their lifestyle is like.
Great video guys, thanks! I always enjoy watching your videos as I have learned a few things along the way! Challenging format to play and a lofty goal which to be honest, was realistic... just didn't go your way today. Thanks again! Cheers from Saskatchewan, Canada!
One of the bonuses from Civid was that I got to play a round on this wonderful course as there was no air travel to bring the North Americans over. From driving up to the course, the welcome, the clubhouse, the course, and the food and drink afterwards, it was a privilege and honour to experience it. When you look out over the course you think “ can’t be much trouble there” , but from the first drive to the last putt you have to concentrate 100% - so many subtle borrows that carry balls 10-15 yards into the pot bunkers, greens that look pretty flat, yet you have to read anything over 6 inches in length. Every hole is separate from the others, you feel as though you have the place to yourself. In a stretch of coastline that has so many magnificent clubs and courses Muirfield just quietly sits in the middle of them knowing it is the best.
Was on a gap year trip around Europe last year, and have uncles who are members. Me and my cousin showed up, and to my surprise, they just let us on. Sporting a dirty great mullet I teed off finding the rough in the women's open condition. On the backend of a 3 month bender, having not picked up a club since I left Australia, wearing my uncles golf shoes which were 2 sizes too big, lost about 8 balls, ate lunch outside as I unfortunately my blazer didn't make the trip, hit a perfect 4 iron on 10 drawing applause from the group behind. Skulled my pitching wedge over the back into the fescue. Didn't make a par, shot 100+, and made one of the greatest golfing memories I'll ever have.
My cousin and I got so drunk watching this. Had a drink every time they missed a putt and a fairway. Thanks for a good night lads 👍🏻⛳️
🤣

Rick contemplating his life choices on the bench was hilarious. Great round guys.
My fav was the sitting in the cart watching his own video lesson to get the strength to make the chip
I’ll take the ball thanks! Seriously, the fact you guys show the good, the bad and the ugly makes your channel so genuine and relatable. What a golf course.

Rick and guy is like a sausage and a roll
Pause..
Which one's which?
Guy is a sausage x
.... Best with a beer 🍺
Isn’t that a euphemism for something else?! 😂
I've said it before you lead a charmed life Rick! Thanks for letting us see these fantastic courses in action with mortals at the wheel.
Your knowledge and passion for golf history makes these videos so much more interesting, playing historical courses like this, giving us viewers something more to take away from these vidoes than just a golf video. Great vidoes!! Keep up the good work!
Rick, your brutal honesty is commendable. You guys are so enjoyable to watch, builds my confidence. Thank you!
I just turned 76 and have time now to take up golf, you both make me feel like there’s hope.
23:59 the difference in reactions as that ball rolled over the green had me in stitches. I love the break 75 foursome 🤣
I love the longer videos you make, your whole team deserves a lot of respect, keep up the good work 👏
Made decent contact today at the range! It was about my 5th-6th time going and I’m hooked. Always listening to Rick’s podcast while I play haha
Everyone probably feels a lot better about their game after watching this😂 Class as always lads👏
I think this had to be the toughest course I've seen yet! Great work on keeping the same ball all round!
Felt so bad for Guy after that skull over the green! We've all been there. And a great recovery by Rick!
Nothing beats having fun with your friends on a golf course, regardless of the score... and these videos show that perfectly.

I’m surprised Rick didn’t mention that, makes foursomes even better! What a great format
I love when you and Guy play together , The videos with famous players are awesome but just love the chemistry you have with Guy xxx
Just got home and I'm going to to put my feet up and enjoy this, love seeing you two out on the course ⛳
Rick, You and Guy make a great team. You both always make me smile. You both had some very good shots. Please, keep the videos coming.
I personally think foursomes is harder than singles. More pressure as you can only let yourself down in singles. Love the break 75
Love the break 75s and the variety of formats you guys play! Also love the banter between Rick and Guy. Even though you can tell y’all are frustrated, you keep it light and friendly which makes the whole thing more enjoyable. Keep up the great work!
Break 75 as a Four Ball is probably harder than individually 🤣 loved watching you play muirfield though 👍
Love watching Rick n Guy golf, even when you are struggling. Thanks for introducing me to the beautiful courses of the U.K.!
Probably never get the chance to play courses like this, so love watching you and guy navigate your way around them. ❤
Rick watching his chipping video is class. Also wouldn’t say no to the marked ball if you’re still giving it away. Love the work boys, golf is really hard

Rick and Guy really enjoy their time playing together. Always puts a smile on my face. Can’t wait for the next one.
What I like most is its serious but not serious game of golf with laughter. Well done guys
Love watching y’all. You’ve helped me go from not knowing how to swing a club to now practicing almost every day! Keep doing what you’re doing!
These „Breaking“ series is always such a great laugh. And I mean that I mean than in the most positive way!
Got to watch you guys come in on 18 after playing. You’re a class act man, thanks for stopping to talk for a second. Cheers!
This is my favourite TH-cam series ever!! keep up the phenomenal work guys
watching you and Guy is your best content. Thanks guys.
What an honour to be invited for lunch and showed round the place. Golf wasn’t the best but still enjoyed the video immensely. You two make a great team on camera. A better scramble team than a foursomes though 😂
My favorite golf channel, love watching to improve my game!
Thanks
Such a entertaining duo and series, keep them coming Rick!
Rick utters two little words “from Wish” and suddenly Guy turns into a potty mouth?? 🤣 I was so caught off guard I had to rewind it 3 times to make sure I was hearing what I thought I was hearing! Rick and Guy easily my favorite golf content.
Great stuff lads, Guy, you are coming on leaps and bounds as a presenter, you are the perfect foil for Rick now.
Absolute love these videos with both of you in it. Great viewing
Tough round but a great watch 👏🏼 Enjoying watching these, can find myself a few hours into the channel in no time!
So much fun to watch! Yes, I have seen both of you play better, but let's face it, The struggle was real and you had fun. Guys, that is the best part of golf. Thank you for every miss, every oops, every short put. Great fun
Steve from Hitching, now in the states
Love the series, you and Guy work really well together, he's a great addition to the channel
Love this format as much as the scramble break 65, more of both please.
I really like the videos with Guy. It’s exactly what golf is all about.
what a fantastic vibe that you guys have. I enjoy all of your videos- but this was one of the best
Rick watching his own video for swing tips is a weird level of meta.
Also, maybe a bit of missed bleeping at 51:02? 🤣 Glad Guy is keeping it real
What a pleasure watching you guys play. Really enjoyed it! It was a lot of fun!
as always chaps, a really great video that shows a lower-than-average golfer like me that bad days are OK... you can learn from every round! Thanks for the great content!
Another great break 75 video! Love watching then during work
Great job, fellas. Not easy to play alternate shot! Thoroughly enjoyed this video. I played an alternate shot round with a buddy in high school. It was one of my favorite rounds of all time.
Break 75s are awesome!
Love watching the break 75’s with the strat talk. Helps me work on my strat game. Well done!
Strat?
Oh, this is fantastic. I'm cackling. This is so much more entertaining to me, not every time, but once in a while.
Just started getting into golf and you’ve always been everyone’s go to! Love the videos
That was hilarious when it started falling apart and you guys just let it go , the banter is up there 😂😂
Brilliant new format Texas shambles, love it Rick an Guy, keep them coming.
Thanks!
Fantastic job! Bravo. Loved every moment.
Another great episode at an iconic course !!! Thanks !!
What an amazing setup, Rick! A dream come true and a well deserved reward for all your amazing hard work!
Loving these types of videos. Definitely miss the old vlogs with the originals
Tough day on the course guys. But really enjoyed seeing the course. Even in defeat, I enjoy the banter between Rick and Guy
It was fun to see you guys not only have a round you were not too happy with but enjoy the golf itself.

Great video! Love seeing you and Guy team up!
Firm fairways, firm greens and a lot of wind I'd take 79 and be jumping for pure joy! Another great ep!
These recent videos with Guy have been great! This format is cool as well!
That was fun guys, Thanks.
First time most of us get to see the course without Grandstands.
Enjoying this format with you two! Look forward to trying it
Noticed a new putter in Guy’s bag! As much as he is playing I wouldn’t mine a “what’s in the bag” from him! Love the channel and can’t wait for the new H.I.T. Studio videos

Hi from the US! Love your content and I look forward to break 75 every Friday!
I would love that very “lucky” golf ball. 😂😂 😂
A format that can only be played with a true mate. You played pretty well but it is so, so hard only hitting every second shot. Well done team
Well in! The silence on some of these shots speaks volumes🤣🤣🤣 love the content!
Great video guys, thanks! I always enjoy watching your videos as I have learned a few things along the way! Challenging format to play and a lofty goal which to be honest, was realistic... just didn't go your way today. Thanks again! Cheers from Saskatchewan, Canada!
Rick catching guy with the upside down 8 on the 8 iron was a thing of beauty. Comedic gold of the highest level!

Definitely the one thing I look forward to all week is break 75!!!! Love it

I love that Rick started watching his chipping video on course 😂 great video!
Loving the content lads! I'm new to golf and take a lot from your videos which helps my game massively 👍
Love this series! Love the podcast as well and can’t wait for the review channel to get going!
Friday night viewing at its best …fab work again guys 👏👏⛳️
Great video - and still the sort of score lots of us could only dream of!!
Great episode as ever. Thanks both.
Tough course! Enjoyed the vid. Thanks!!
