That 1-0 result is the real suspicious one. Way too ordinary result for a u14 match.

1. They did not stop scoring, their last goal was scored 2 minutes before the end of the match
2. The now 2nd placed team beat that exact team 29:0 when they played in the middle of the season, so its totally reasonable for them to score 14 more when you are actually trying to score as much as possible.

Kerekegyházi (yes, the same team who scored 43 goals) were 21 goals behind Kecskemét before the final match of the 2022/23 U14 B league final. They won their match 22-1.

@@renerphothis is actually sus. Not just the scores. Although you’d have to watch the match to take any definitive conclusions. They could have slowed down after getting the result they wanted and got scored on in the last few minutes of the game
@@Lucaz99 I think they scored pretty consistently throughout the match, and scored their last (the 43rd) goal a few minutes before the match was over.
Important context here:
This is not THE U14 league in Hungary, this is county level, which is the lowest level of U14 football. And most teams are from villages or little towns with hundreds or a few thousand people. When I played in this level I had a teammate who sometimes forgot that you can't stop the ball with your hands if you're not the gk.
Also, the format in U14 is 2x40 minutes, 8+1 players with not full size pitch, and goals. The team which lost heavily had 9 players meaning they just had a full team, and the team which scored 43 had a full team with 6 substitutes.
The winning team coach said he told the players before the match started to score 50 goals, but while playing, encourage the opponent as well so they won't stop playing. The last matchday happened at the same time for everyone, so they didn't know exactly how many goals they needed to score to win. They had to wait while refreshing the databank website to see the result of other teams.
And scoring 43 goals in a league where the players are random 12-13 yo kids who can kick a ball at least a few meters away is pretty possible.
I've seen results in U14/16/17/19 level like 57-0, 56-0, 33-1 etc. So I think it's more likely that it was not fixed.

Idk why I thought it was an 11v11 game, and soit looked quite strange. In 9v9 ith a smalle pitch it's way easier to score and it's quite reasonable to score around 20 goals per match, so 40 it's a lot but still quite reasonable. It's way more strange the 0-1 game I'd say

And Miklósi is a village of just 200 people. It's amazing they even *have* 11 children. The team that came second against all expectations. The winning team is a larger town of almost 7000 people. They're quite a distance away too, 2 and a half hours drive through treacherous roads (or 6.5 hours by local bus).

When I was growing up, in Spain (before you were born, lol), I remember seeing Spain v Malta. Spain needed to win by 11 goals and won 12-1 to qualify for the European Cup. I watched it in a bar in 1983. (The score was 3-1 at half-time.)
I looked it up, that's insane. It must have been wild to see it live

I once had a colleague at work who, at 9:15 was still sat in the car park outside the office. I went out to see if he was ok, because he looked like he wasn't. The conversation went like this:
Me: "Hey dude, you doing alright?"
Him visibly sweating: "I've got £200 on the result of a Vietnamese Women's U13 game"
Me: "I think you may have a problem my guy!"
Him: "I know, and I'll seek help after work, but would you sit with me for the next 7 minutes to see if I can pay the rent this month?"

Hmmmm, you didn't see anything, in Hungary, they(other clubs) match-fixed a friendly match with real money, which is unreal, but it happened.
This match is somewhat normal, because it happens quite often.
The problem : You cannot tell, if it was a match-fix, or they just this bad, That's the problem...
The MLSZ( Hungarian Football Association) are very bad at investigation on any issues....
In old days in the 1970-s, we have a rule for too much goals, and stopped the match, and full time. But it is not working anymore.
I watch Hungarian football since 2000, so i saw many things about Hungarian League, or any competition. Anyway, the pronunciation is okay i guess, as a Hungarian, i heard far worse than this!
The lower you get, the higher are the chances the game can be fixed. You can bet on U14 games on betting sites, so why wonder those games can be fixed
@@ivandankob7112 In theory, you cannot bet a U14 match, in Hungary at least. Only on professional leagues, like NB1-NB2-NB3 (we have only 3 professional tiers).

I remember my cousin coming back from an u10s game (or some similar young age group) after winning about 20-0 and my uncle said that the referee stopped the clock at every single throw in, corner etc, because funnily enough, the good referees get saved for the high level matches and the inexperienced referees get saved for youth matches. Especially if there is something important on the line like a league title, the referee is probably highly inclined to add every last minute of stoppage time on. I can imagine an inexperienced referee in a u14s game adding every single second when the ball is off the pitch back on to the end of stoppage time after 30 goals have already been scored

Never thought my former team would make it to Zelandism, but here we are.
I think the result is fairly reasonable, Miklósi scored 29 against that team and they had like 8 after 13 minutes, so they could have scored 43 easily.
And they definitely messed up only winning 1-0 on the final day.
Only thing I took from this video is that the Hungarian national team will not have a defense in 10 years

This goes out to all those who made fun of us, after the club I played for opened a second youth team because the class was to big, only for us to get destroyed every week. But 13:0 was as worse as it got, so looks like we weren’t so bad after all.

At this moment, Zealand needs to make a video about that Caribbean cup, where they had funky group stage rules that counted extra time goals as 2 goals (yes, extra time in a group stage) that resulted in a loophole within the rules, causing one particular team to aim at BOTH goals at the same time (score to their opponents to win the game at +2 difference or score an own goal, draw and get +2 goal difference by winning an extra time) and the opposing team had to defend their own goal but at the same time prevent the opposition from scoring an own goal 😂

I wouldn't be weirded out if match fixing was involved. Here in Croatia(neighbouring county to Hungary) clubs recive some sort of bribes in every category, mostly seniors but there is corruption in the younger categories. Here clubs play players over the age limit for a bigger advantage as it is not regulated properly.

Back when I played in u14 we once won 30-0 so this isn't a huge suprise to me. That same team conceded 400+ goals. Also u14 has a smaller pitch, smaller goals (5 meters in width and 2 meters in hight), they play in 8+1vs8+1 (+1 is the goalkeeper) and a match is 70 minutes.

Random but you might want to keep your eye on the J League for a possible underdog story, a team thats playing in the top league for the first time in its history is currently top after 17 games.
Back in the day, when Zico was the shit, I played in my local teams' u13s. We had lost against the league leaders 0-4 at home earlier that season and now had to play them away. This was a weird system, top 6 remained in the league and bottom 4 played in the lowest league the next season. The weird part is the top 6's league continued while the bottom 4's season was over. We were in 7th needing a miracle win to keep the season going. 5 minutes before the match kicked off we realised our opponents looked unfamiliar, that team came from a village 20 minutes ago so we kinda knew each other after some years of playing each other. Turns out their u13s was away for a tournament and they now fielded their u12s(minus the best players who also were at the tournament).
I myself scored a hattrick within the first 4 minutes, later on added another 13 goals to my tally while my brother in arms scored 21. Final score? 2-39. Went from seventh to third.
In the following playoffs(our top-6 and the neighbouring regions' top-6) we finished first with a total wipeout. I think our goaldifference was 258-3 in those 10 games.
But then again, me and my best friend(both 13 at the time) normally played with our u16s who played at national level instead of regional. There's such a vast difference at these levels that you sometimes see silly scores. We once won 25-2 after being down 1-2 at halftime. Yes, my and my friend could only play in the second half as we played at the u16s game that started two hrs earlier and had to eat and rest a bit before playing. Good ole times.

i was once one of the children that go onto the pitch with the players in my hometown for 2 teams that were bodily disabled and playin a friendly (all adults aswell), the game ended 42-0, i would only later find out how much fun that specific scoreline has

As a reff my self 10 years in Macedonia and 8 years in Slovenia, there are lot of this kind of games in 1st women league, U19 and U17. And they are all legit games, even with more bigger results. Its just in one woman team plays the hole representation, which are semi pro or pros, and other 9 teams in the league are not even amateurs. And I go and reffed a matches, where I need 3 yellow cards, just to take notes who scored the 50 goals. It can be a fixing, but knowing from tons of experience my self, it can be legit game. Last game, away team cant field even 11 players, just to save some money, and not to get punished from the federation for not going to the away game, and the go with 8 reserves, get battered this much and is all legit.

On the off chance it's possible to bet on this league, I'd say both games were fixed. Miklosi bribed to only score one goal. The odds are then still really high for the other team to win but not physically impossible to do.

Highgate united beat Bewdley town 12-0 on the last game of the season to reach the playoffs as they need 12 goals in their final game to have the better goal difference. This was in the Midland Premier, the 9th tier of English football. Bewdley were already relegated and had only won 1 match all season. That wasn't fixed I believe, so it is possible to score a ridiculous amount of goals in game if a teams needs to and puts their minds to it.

The simplest answer being: They cheated to win the league by scoring exactly the 42 goals needed.
If possible check video footage of the game to see if the opposing team even tried to defend or if they were part of it.

Miklósi beat them 27-0 a few weeks before, and they didn't have to. Bugaci (the team in third place) won their away match at Palmonostora 0-19. I obviously don't know what happened, but I don't think scoring 43 goals in that match is as ridiculous as it sounds.

they just scored 43 because they had to, would be the simplest explanation because it doesn't assume anything whereas you are assuming they cheated.
Occam's Razor is actually "the more assumptions you have to make, the more unlikely an explanation." Kids scoring to win has fewer assumptions than kids, and opposition, and coaches, and refs conspiring to gift the championship to a team.

The simplest answer doesnt require crime and match fixing, doesnt require exact, immense amounts of goals in a last day match. That being a fix is literally one of the more elaborate answers. Like at least know what you are talking about.

These matches happens at the same time and in a league like this it's unlikely everyone knows the score of the other match. There is no way the 1st place team would have known that 2nd place would win only 1-0. If they did, it's very likely the 2nd place team would have been notified of what was happening in the other match and would have pushed very hard for another goal. Actually seems legit, just unbelievable.
Imagine having scored 141 goals and only conceded 10 goals after 16 matches and then not win the league lol. Also your pronunciation of the german team Bochum was actually really good. Not 100% right, but for an english speaking person it was pretty good, which kinda surprised me for some reason.
