    Recently slapped on a set of Higgins ported heads on my cammed ls1 and couldn’t believe the difference it made. Killer job at Higgins.

    You're right about the price. I've been looking at getting some VN heads done and by the time they've been ported and machined for roller rockers, it's not far off the cost of a set of alloy heads.

    Nath selected a cam and did the heads on my LS stroker . Bloody great man and awesome service and price ❤

    You would spend a fortune getting a set of 18 or 23 deg Brodix heads maxed out, and manifold flowed but they will never flow as much power as the SB. 2.2. HP is never cheap, but with packages like these, it is easy HP V8 Supercars have used them for years too.

    Just say it …we had to copy ford heads , seperate intakes and ford also has seperate exhaust, which is way better than the Chevy exhaust ports, don’t take me wrong I love chev engines but I never liked how the exhaust valves are side by side each other which creates to much problems for head gasket issues in between bores, but man this guys has fantastic heads , the Americans talk a lot about his heads..

    Higgins all the way stay clear of cheap Chinese ls7 head's. Performance shops trying to say they make 1000 hp i learnt it the hard way $14000 later, now my engine builder put me a set of Higgins can not go wrong 👍👍👍

    I'm building an sb2.2 now and can attest to the mixing and matching of parts and finding rockers and all that. It's a huge pain in the hind end.
    If I had it to do over, I would go through Nathan to make it happen.

    NA Def has its place in the market but you can't beat boost for overall bang for buck and driveability

    SB2.2 engines are the way to go today if you are going big HP for sure. The problem is The Heads and manifold will need an engine block crank rods and pistons let alone a cam and a dry sump to go along with it all. You can get a used refreshed former NASCAR style sb2 (Just Oversize Bore out of spec) for 27k us in the us. I dont know what V8 super car engines go for but they would have to be 45K at least. The heads look great however dont be fooled the excellent power figures for the SB2.2 come from it's Giant camshaft gives it the chance to produce lift more than any other V8.

      You can build a conventional street V8 engine using this induction package. We have filmed a number of them.

    Put that chamber tech in a head+manifold package that will fit a Chrysler LA and you will need to expand the factor.
    Or for shits and giggles Datsun A-Series.

    Also what is very important is the ratio of the rockers and also why on earth do camshafts lobes are so wide when the lifters only touch around 1/2 the surface of the cam lobe, so why not make up a cam lobes which are less thicker but still the right dimensions and yet less rotating mass, thus better HP figures in the end? I don't think anyone has done this yet in making a camshaft for N?A engines 4's 6's 8's etc?
    Make up a new camshaft design to be less thickness on the top of the lobe and yet still stronger than a standard camshaft, thickness etc ??

      @@2burning2turning The SB is more like the D3 Cleveland head than not.
      To answer your question, the Higgins Clevor head is much like the previous generation NASCAR C3 head.
      FB has done a series on them too, 700 hp on pump gas, 800+ on race fuel.
