Hi, thanks for your comment. You can use that connection configuration. I agree this would save using a long XLR cable. But please remember that you must set the signal delay between EON718S and EON715 to about 1.1 feet per ms. Anyway, thanks for your thoughts on configuring this connection. I appreciate it. I will make a video of this type of configuration and see how it sounds. If you don't mind, please give my video a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel. Take care and have a great day! 🤗
You shouldn't do that for proper results. It's also not recommended. I understand your point and did this many years with active speakers that have a passive frequency filter. Out the mixer, sub one, sub two, top. But that isn't the way it works with this. Because the Top has all the possible Mix Out options, the sub hasn't, so always from mixer to the top and then add the subs.
Yes, that's right. You need to connect both channels to the subwoofer via pass-thru if you want to play the sound in left and right stereo. You can also use one of the pass-thrus from either speaker connected to the sub. If you don't mind, please subscribe to my channel and click the like button on this video. Hello there great video, i am looking for a subwoofer which can be used outdoors as well. I am confused between JBL EON718S and BOSE SUB 2. please help me out in getting some feedback about JBL EON 718S. Which one should I buy?
Hi, thanks for your comment. Sorry, I can't do a review on the BOSE SUB 2 for me to compare with the JBL EON718S subwoofer. You can use this JBL EON718S for outdoor events with an audience of 150-250 people. What I like about this JBL EON718S is that you can update the firmware from time to time using the JBL Pro Connect app. The latest firmware has made many improvements to the sound quality. If you buy 2 of these JBL EON718S, you can do cardioid mode. The bass sounds bigger and more pounding. Watch this video th-cam.com/video/h26IfFfUQMY/w-d-xo.html (I already did a sound test for the cardioid mode setup). I hope you got some information about my review of JBL EON718S. If you don't mind, please leave a thumbs up on my video and subscribe to my channel. Take care and have a great day! 🤗

Hola!
Espero poder responder a tu pregunta amigo. 🤗
I'm curious how it is that you go that way from the mixer? Wouldn't it be better if you go from the mixer (L/R) directly into the sub and then distribute from the sub out to the speakers?
Hi, thanks for your comment, friend. What I did in this video is actually what is recommended by JBL in the EON 700 Series manual. You can connect from the mixer to the subwoofer and out to the top speakers if you want. ☺
