- Dave Lieber is the national-award-winning Watchdog newspaper columnist for The Dallas Morning News, a prize-winning author and storytelling expert. For his investigative newspaper column, Dave receives 50 pitches a week for story ideas - and takes the best two. He knows how to find and identify memorable stories that people care about.
About TEDx:
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

My good wishes
in my life, I have seen around 200 to 300 ted. this is the funniest and the most under appreciated. period.
WOW! Don't know why this doesn't have millions of views. This was so great! Thank you!
Hilarious, moving, smart and educational. What else can you ask for. Dave Lieber not only knows how to tell a story, he can teach you how to tell your story.
One of the best tedx, I didn't even feel the time watching him say his stories and explaining the story telling formula , love it
This is awesome. Authentic, vulnerable, and inspired!
WOW - one of those TEDx pearls with < 100K of views. Fantastic.
just you, me and the 97.301 folks that pretend that we're "authors" :P
That was wonderful. Beautiful, funny, real and proof of the power of story.
I've been trying to get into storytelling and this has been the best explanation I've heard regarding it. Definitely inspired me to go and tell mine.
everyone is a story ready to be told!

It fuelled my simmering ambition (of becoming a public speaker). Thanks ted-ex, and thank you Mr.Lieber. And for a speaker's joke and presence of mind, I have a fridge named Liebherr at home. I bought it since it is German origin!
I've never seen anything like this before. He is SO captivating and brilliant and FUNNY.
the best storytelling video ever!
Wow This Guy is Awesome ! Bless Him _ Really!! _ so Authentic & Real ! LOVE IT !
Yeah It did made me smile more than once.. Trying to learn the power of storytelling to apply to my vlogging! Loving it more and more - the craftmanship behind it that is .
I think you are the best of the best. You completely floored me when you replied to an email I sent you over a year ago. It wasn't a big important email, just one in which I expressed my frustration with the P.U.C and my realization they were not there to protect the consumer. I look to your columns especially often when it feels as though people have lost all ability to have compassion for one another. You and your stories remind me that there ARE people who care enough to stand for something and after watching this video I'm not surprised to see you love with all your heart. Thank you for sticking with us here in Texas, and please believe that at least on this occassion, sometimes we really DO mean it when we say Bless your heart!!
Really enjoyable! What a great storyteller!
this is so underrated! Deserves to get viral
Oh God, This was so fun to watch. He's a great storyteller
👏👏👏👏👏 Thank you Tedx Talks & Dave Lieber! It was great!
Time well spent I've learned so much. Thanks a million Dave I'll remember your story.
Wow, awesome. truly there's power in storytelling. I couldn't take my eyes off him.
Dave, little man, you're awesome. I loved watching the video and feel as though we just had a long, overdue visit. Hope to see you in DC this summer.
Why this has so few views ?!?!? It's amazingly good :D!
Thank you so much ✨️ 💓 💗
Dave does a masterful job. Love his take on storytelling @davelieber He speaks at global speakers summit @gssvan
I love Story telling and that is why I am in sales
Love this man!
Not since Sidney Greenstreet hawked a loogie onto his Board of Directors conference table to prove a marketing point in the film "The Hucksters," has the art of visual speaking reached the pitch given it by Lieber. And he's funny. And he's knowledgeable. And he has the best hair west of the Pecos. Not only that, he stimulates your neural endings.
So Marge did you like him?????
Beautiful!
Just amazingly awesome! Thank you!
Very nice, Dave! Congrats!
That sure nuff touched a lot of people. Loved it.
From Ft. Worth

So stinking inspired. Thank you for sharing your story & encouraging us to do the same. I am starting today!
there are so many storytellers out there I don't know who to be compared to
It's a real good speech he got over there..
Storytelling expert Dave Lieber brilliant video from his TEDx talk. I think it's very worth your time watching. It's funny, smart and very educational.

Very entertaining!
The big tribe joke was a hoot...he is a good comedian, too. Telling a good story does require the style of a comic.
Excellent!
Oh i will create success story of my own now :) Best of TED talks...
What is your story... after 2 yrs now.
Brilliant!
Amazing!
Inspiring speech!
Congrats!
awesome. still wondering how he could do so much humour in his speech.
Love it!
it's like listening Forest Gump
I can't wait to tell my story..my past is my asset
Loved this 🤩💕
My memoir "The Will of a Wildflower" needs to be a movie.
Great!
wow amazing
Wow! This is breathtaking, cunny and funny 😂😂😂😂
The David Liebe Hart we have at home...
Didn't like what the Phila Inquirer did to his story so he came to Texas and he's still here
Lol. "No sir its a big tribe."
Somehow inspired by Woody Allen.
So the low point of this speakers life was falling off a bull. I got em beat.
Is he comedian or businessman I'm confused
so funny😂😂
you should try to know "mahabharata". "ramayana"..... the ultimate storytelling thousands of thousands of years ago....beware:you may find many distorted "mahabharata's and ramayana's" ....it's been said that , each individual understands it in a different way depending on their degree of intellect....btw those are epics of india.
Booo booo
Why does he speak with such a high-pitched voice? Is he a woman or a trans?
Fantastic!
Beautiful!
it's like listening Forest Gump
