Which of my CRTs should I feature next? - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
SO MUCH NOSTALGIA, RIGHT NOW! N64, SNES, DBZ, BANJO-KAZOOIE, DONKEY KONG COUNTRY, BACK TO THE FUTURE, ZELDA, & your past CRTs!?
I'm in Nostalgia Heaven, right now! ⭐✨
I'm glad you enjoyed! Someone commented that I should make this kind of video and I was so excited to do so, wish I thought of it sooner! I'll make one every year because I sometimes sell the CRTs I'm not in love with after finding something I enjoy better. I found all of these in this video in 2023 (except a couple that I found this year) so I can't imagine what I'll find this year!
I'm glad TH-cam is finally showing me content I care for.
Glad to know I'm in the running for that! haha I'll keep making some content I'm passionate about!
A town in Wisconsin was having a recycling event. In a few block radius I found a Toshiba, an RCA TruFlat with DVD player, and a Sony Wega 32” Trinitron.
Dayum! Did you have someone help you scoop that 32"? I always worry about that cause I don't want to bother someone just to grab a CRT although I've already done that a couple times haha
Love the artistic b-roll camera footage! Thank you for not being another talking head. Hard sub!
I'm glad you enjoy that aspect! I definitely agree that sometimes I get tired of people talking about the thing when I just want to see the thing. Good to know that there are more of y'all out there! I'll keep up this style and always down to take notes to improve!
The 90s has such feel good vibes
Yeah it always feels positive and vibrant.
Ah man, i wish i was born in the late 80s, the 90s just look so Cool, fun, and Magical at the same time
I was born mid1980s and you're right - 90s were the last of its era before the internet really took over. We were gaming with physical cartridges (pre-internet for consoles) and running around the neighborhood still with no fear of predators. Always playing outside and gaming inside - a fun childhood.
Well, if you were born in the 80s, then you’d have to deal with the whole millennial not having any money for everything not being able to afford a house and health issues because we’re all getting older. So just take advantage of the fact that the stuff is still around and you can grab it.
@@ChristopherAndersonPirate Life is pretty good - it's been fun collecting and making these videos. Glad these things are still working!
Loved seeing Banjo Kazooie while Majin Vegeta and Goku talk to each other.
Hahah excellent juxtaposition
awww yea, that's the good stuff!
The collection grows stronger, young brother!
Nice video, dude!
Kind Regards from Brazil
Glad you enjoyed!
This is one of your most impressive CRT feature videos ever. I loved it! I actually had the exact same model 13” Sylvania branded Funai Corp CRT and it had a very good picture. Unfortunately I made the mistake of selling it off a few years ago. I think from your lineup, I like those large flat style CRTs, so the 32AF45 is one of my favorites. It just has great scanlines and is very sharp. Awesome video, I am very impressed with the camera angles and overall style
Thank you so much for the compliments and info - this is what gets me excited to do more videos like this - plus it's a lot of fun for me. And yes, the RCA TruFlat is amazing but I already sold it a couple days ago (I sell some of them to fund buying more and keep my favorites) but I'm 100% keeping that 32AF45. I don't want to ever move it again haha but it's a beautiful picture and I love having at least one giant CRT.
Awesome video. It’s a vibe. Keep these style videos coming, longer ones would be rad. I do the same in my room, I chill while keeping all my CRTs playing in the background. That Toshiba TV is a nice one.
Yeah it’s a nice atmosphere to have them on in the background. I’m glad you enjoyed the videos, I’ll keep going on this style and come up with some new ideas!
Nice more fun with old game or electronic crt
Heck yeah. I love collecting all of that and playing around with it.
Not gonna lie, the quality of the picture on that toshiba is pretty next level for it coming from a vhs..
Yeah it's wild how awesome the display is on these Toshibas. I love this series of Toshiba!
Man ur the legend seriously
haha glad to know you enjoy the content!
Ya I love sandbox actually gaming earning nfts concept just marvelous
Yeah it's great.
I’m getting a Super Nintendo and a crt tv sooon I’m sooo excited
That’s awesome, I bet it’s exciting - what games are you going to start with?
Wow😊
Glad you enjoyed!
Which CRT should I feature next?
I vote for more 32” Toshiba 32AF45 content in the future, especially anything of the 8 or 16 bit variety
@@matthewsisk I'm working on doing that with Super Mario Kart! That 32" is awesome. Thanks for chiming in!!
star wars vhs, might have to rob my mums vcr for my sony widescreen, like the different levels you have your crts at, might have to get a small crt just for this effect, mine at same level
I love collecting these things!
The 27” Magnavox looks very nice, but I’m not finding anything on that model. Must be rare. Does it have S- Video or component inputs?
Yeah I couldn't find much online about that one. It's just composite going in so nothing fancy. Pretty nice picture tho! Although some of the levels on DKC2 displayed pretty dark.
I just brought home the same 27" Magnavox. No remote so I need to get one. Can't find anything about it online, no manual or anything so I've gotta figure out how to get the aspect ratio rendering correctly! If you've got any tips on its usage let me know!
I also didn’t have the remote with that one. It looked great as is tho and I’ve never really messed with the geometry or anything on a CRT. That one made SNES look great. I recently found a Magnavox security monitor CRT that’s super neat: black and white and has 4 inputs that you can auto-cycle through.
@@JaWayne Oooh that sounds cool! Yeah as it turns out once I give it a signal the geometry fixes itself. It just displays the input text half off screen when there's no source. Other than that, it does have a pretty loud whine but it's not very noticeable when playing a game
Oh damn. Neat to learn about this stuff!
Yo guys I finally recv the sandbox rewards yesterday wooohuuuuu
Nice!! Which rewards did you receive? Do you remember?
@@JaWayne yes dude how I wouldn't be able to remember lol it's about recent. I had it for AiA Legends one but I'm wondering i wasn't holding any nft how did I get the rewards because they filled in for players to must have a nft or avatar in the wallet to be eligible to recv the reward's for that Aia legends event, but well I'm glad I received it somehow
That's neat - I actually think the AIA rewards were "Open to All". I could be wrong but you can go to the Events tab and see past events and check on the details. I'm glad they keep all the past events information.
