      There does seem to be evidence that damage to myocarditis causes higher risk of commotio cordis.
      I do wish he would have mentioned this possible connection to covid19 and their vaccines, which are both responsible for myocarditis damage.
      Instead, he said it would have "nothing" to do with the vaccines. And we just don't know that. In fact, there is some evidence it does have to do with both covid19 and the vaccines.

    This isn’t the most egregious example but I’m going to point it out anyway. With the ever increasing rise of flopping we’re seeing more and more “guy falls recklessly backwards in a crowded lane and rolls up on someone’s knee” plays. It’s the same as the Zaza rule. Players have to be more careful around other player’s knees and ankles. The flopping is insult enough to the game. Injuring premiere players in the midst of an MVP campaign is sin.

Broke a few tackles and ended up getting pulled down backwards while other players were still holding my right leg. My knee felt wobbly but didnt hurt. My dumb ass went back out twice just to hold for extra points, by half time the pain started to kick end and during the hour ride home my knee was on fire. I didnt go to hospital but I think it was a strain or minor tear . I was able to play with minor pain and mostly on defense in about 6 weeks with a brace. 2 .5 months no pain at all.

      @@teethegreezlybigman6370 Nah, you really just know when someone tries to intentionally hurt you like this. It's similar to Swift's injury in the Packers-Lions game yesterday. More and more players are landing awkwardly on other players on purpose so it borders the line of intentional without outright making it obvious. Super cheap if you ask me.

      That looked intentional to me 🤷🏽‍♂️ I don’t have a dog in the fight , but the way he leaned back was strange , not to mention he flopped on the fall , butler always flopping and flailing around, hella lame 👎🏼

    If that's what we think (acl), wouldn't we be witnessing the retirement of KD?

    • @skiak004
      @skiak004 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Mcl, not acl, most likely if any tears occurred. I'm pretty sure that's what Brian was most focused on, and my being "experienced" (ouch) with an acl rupture and what it took to tear it (angle, momentum and my reaction afterwards), I think he'll be back this season. If he was to tear and acl, that would be another year, at least, lost, and I bet he'd think twice about returning for more.

      Yea I’d be surprised if it’s acl. Mechanism similar but didn’t seem like enough force

    It was unintentionally intentional! The game plan wants to get KD out of the game! Typical Pat Riley thug basketball! And they still lost the game good!

  • @AndreTownsel25
    @AndreTownsel25 ปีที่แล้ว

    It seems like deja vu all over again, remember when KD injured his left knee against the Pelicans because Bruce Brown fell on his leg awkwardly just like Jimmy Butler just did just now. People need to stop falling on KD.
