It's definitely a scary thing to deal with. At the 2.5 week mark I was able to apply pressure on my leg and eventually walk and on my recent visit to the hospital they said I can walk. I definitely recommend resting, elevating, icing and staying off it as much as possible

I got cleared to start playing next week, make sure you strengthen the knee before doing any physical activities. Take breaks and let it rest, since that’s part of the process. Good luck 🍀

    Okay so I dislocated my knee in the shower and as soon as I saw it I pushed it down and it popped back in place. Off course it swelled up and stuff but It healed after a couple of weeks with no ligaments torn or broken bones. The doctor said I have a very lose kneecap. It's been a couple of years and it feels normal. I even do heavy weighted squats. I think it's because I re aligned it immediately after dislocation. Idk 🤷‍♂️ makes me wonder what really happened to my knee and ligaments because it's like it never happened.

    Sir, how do you move your patella in the patella play 💀 Id be scared to even shift my knee. But good video 👍
    Edit: Just to inform people before they comment, this isn’t a hate comment. I am completly thankful for people that post videos like this because I don’t feel alone. I also struggle with the same problem in my left knee, so I’m not shaming the exercises. It’s hard to build confidence in order to apply for surgery (in my opinion), and videos like these are helpful those who decide to stick to the physical therapy.

      Just relax your leg on a flat surface, need to get the leg perfectly straight.. any bend and it won’t move. May be scary the first time so take a deep breath and apply a little pressure to the inner side of your knee cap. If it doesn’t move freely don’t force it, you’re most likely not straightened enough (sometimes you may need to lean back). Readjust yourself and try again

    • @MissMilkYT
      @MissMilkYT 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@daviondouglas7721 thank you for that. I’m sure people who saw your description was thankful, because I’m kinda like those people. But at the same time, I don’t have the balls to do it 😭. Maybe one of these days I’ll ask my physical therapist if I could try it, because my knee cap is currently injured and i completly tore the ligament. Forgot what it’s called, but as a example it’s like the “seatbelt” for the knee cap, instead, my knee cap is driving drunk rn. So I gotta be careful on what I do. Thank for the response my man 💕
