2000 miles on my 400x, hard to get below 70mpg, been averaging upper 70's mpg blasting around having fun on back roads and mixed highway up to 80MPH....sometimes faster but 70-80mph is pretty comfortable.
My Speed 400 ridden at six to ten thousand feet in Colorado USA gets 80 mpg every time I fill it. Last fill up was 88 mpg. Thin air has less resistance .
I havent found my speed 400 mpg indicated to be very accurate 81on screen and calculated 73.6 speedo is out a good 10% too will have to do a few more tank empties to be sure though.
I take it thats woth the 15t sprocket speed 1st not usefu too low and 6th always has more than enough go so some sprocket changing front or rear is worth a spin i feel have you hesrd of any quality parts available for speed?
According to my trip comp on a run on friday it was showing 84mpg, although I am still running it in with a 6k rpm limit, I expect that to fall massively once run in and full revs can be given
you can probably sneak a bit over 6000 as you get closer to 600 anyway XD i changed my front sprocket from 14 to 15 tooth too so it cruises at 70 or so just nicely
tks for putting in Km/L, really appreciate it. Mpg doesn't make sense at all to me, makes me remember th-cam.com/video/Y-3IV11_ZgA/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=AltraNade

congrats on the new bike!
surprised at how accurate that computer is tbh
@@laniake-an to be honest at 6k I was hitting 70mph on the flat and downhill sections (A12) so running isn't the chore I thought it was going to be

@@laniake-an thats my next mod, I've got a tail bag and a screen... I'll get the sprocket fitted at the first service
@@Aitch412 i've been thinking about a screen...which one did you get?
I've been getting around 70-72 MPG (US gallons) with mine, but I'm still in the break-in period.
