Ive done abt 9000km on the scrambler 400x , my mileage is 21 to 23 in bangalore city and abt 30 on highway

Bro i am also from bangalore i am also getting almost same if the traffic is too much or else m getting around 24-25 easily after first service before that it was like yours only

How much rpm/speed you maintained bro (its not clear on the cluster for me)? To get 31kmpl mileage?
6000-7000 rpm in normal conditions

If you completely dry out petrol, fuel pump will go bad..
I know brother but i have to do it once to get the exact mileage figure
Nothing s gonna happen if you do it a couple of times. If you do it daily then it's a problem

@@ashutosht10 dont count only the number of times the tank has gone dry. Anything below 20% capacity of fuel tank will keep running the pump dry every now and then between acceleration and braking in traffic as petrol moves inside the tank to one end exposing the pump to run dry for those few seconds.. so doing a fuel mileage test cir 30+ kms on less than a litre petrol is damaging the pump for that much longer duration and not just when the tank goes dry

Brother the main issue of this bike is height. If you are more thn 5.8 inch i would say go for it but having less then this height this bike will give u little bit prblm specially while taking a turn or in traffic
One more thing is if turn off engine switch in tarffic after that when i try to turn in back it needs some time like after 2-3 try it will get start but then again that will not happend everytime, i told this one to showroom also they said there is no issue in the bike but yes i am facing this issue so may be there is some manufacture error in my bike.

@@merasafar7284 I know bhai it's a beast in terms of low and mid range speeds and handling, but scrambler hokr bhi mujhe city mai hi use pdega jyada and it has organic break pads so logo se suna hai ki break ki bite km hai ya poora break dabana padta hai toh slow it , aapka breaks ke saath experience kaisa tha honestly, kya breaks pads speed 400 ke lagwa skte hai toh increase the bite

@mickyman753 har bike ka ek khubi rehta hain speed 400 city rides ke liye hain and scrambler offroading and touring both purpose ke liye if you want you can change the brake pad with speed 400 bro no issues

Are you really getting 31kmpl?? Did u do multiple tests?
Bro i was already getting around 26-27 in heavy traffic while shooting this video as you can see in the end part most around 10km there was not much traffic so 31 i got overall
I will say in city you will get 25-26 easily and in highway i will say 30-31 you will get for sure 👌
