    They should have caught all these issues during the home inspection.

    We didn’t have fiber optics internet until two years after we bought our property! Our driveway is a mile long but we have a pole about 1k feet from the house so they didn’t have to do much to hook us up. I love these videos and so happy you are taking us with you every single step of the way! New property is incredibly gorgeous!!
    I’m also happy to know to see you share the same experiences we had moving to a remote location in the mountains. We practically have the wildlife knocking on our front door. (Bears and lynxes included!) keep these videos coming!!

      Thank you! Yeah the wildlife, and not the 'human' life is why we go broke being land poor! But well worth it! You can't put a price tag on that! Very cool to see bears and Lynx!!!! Congrats!

    Good to see you getting things beautified up. Be watchful out in the taller grass. I almost got 2 fawns last week with my brush hog. Front tractor tire almost got one of them..but I think it got out from under it just in time.

      Oh wow! That is why I don't bush hog during nesting season. They should be big enough by now to jump and run!

    This morning I walked to open the gate and I thought I seen something out of the corner of my eye. As I walked back to the house I looked back again and there was a new baby fawn looking for it's mom. He was about 10 feet away and then turned and walked along the fence and pretty soon walked back towards the gate and then turned around went back down the hill along the fence and into the woods. I hope momma found it.

    I have a GEO unit and I hate that POS! When I bought my house I found out that the 2000' of lines running through the yard had a leak so I replaced all the lines. I also replaced the pump with one that you can add water if for some reason it gets low. I had three hvac companies that were supposed to be experts with GEO look at it to get it dialed in and it never worked very good. told my neighbor that wa as hvac tech about it but he wasn't familiar with GEO but he came over and he hooked up his gauges and adjusted the refrigerant and it has worked perfect for 7 years.

    • @KapperOutdoors2.0
      @KapperOutdoors2.0  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hate hearing that for you! I know the feeling! Ours is working better but we have air in the lines too! We need someone who knows what they are doing to install an air bleeder! But hopefully in due time we'll get it sorted out! At least it is working and the electric bill is not too bad! Thanks~!

    • @ew1421
      @ew1421 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KapperOutdoors2.0 I actually like the low electric bill when it's working right. I got rid of the sealed pump when I fixed the lines. They make a pump that has a lid that you can add water to. No need to call someone out you can do it yourself and it also purges the air out.

    several nieghbor have the GEOthermal and they love them. 3,800 to 5,400 suqr foot homes.. we just got our high spped run a month ago. several of my land sub divides they ran for us and The few minior planed subdivisions they ran the lines into and set a pole or base for future hooks ups. The subs doing the work have been really good to work with. they will run 900 ft for free from a hub or pole. so make sure to tell them were your rooad starts to the sub divides you plan on doing. that should make your run shorter to the house.

    • @KapperOutdoors2.0
      @KapperOutdoors2.0  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well it sounds like the run to the home for 'new service' should be covered! But either way it is a 'must have' investment for us!! Thanks

    My new property came with geothermal as well. For the past 2 months, keeping the house at meat locker temps, the electric bill has been $103 each month. Which is suspicious, I need to check with the power company to see if we're on some sort of equalization plan. Just this past week, they've been splicing fiber internet lines together at the junction boxes by the road. Hopefully, we can get the internet hooked up soon as well. It would be great if they ran a line down to your house.

    • @KapperOutdoors2.0
      @KapperOutdoors2.0  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah I'm really hoping that we realize some monthly savings from a lower than IL power bill!! So far the homeowners is less, fuel is less, internet is less, so a lower power bill would be great! Good luck with getting fiber ran in! Looking forward to this one being done as there are a lot of possible obstacles. Thank you

    Congrats on the new property. Been watching your videos and subscribed to your channel for over 5 years. Have you found a good way to trim trails on the side overhang? I have a koiti 35 and I love it. But researching something to trim the trails with it from the overhang limbs and briars that creep on your trails.

    Did you ever mention or can you ballpark the price for the land if it’s not to personal.
