@@SummitautoI can not tell where you are at under the drivers steering wheel. Possibly the camera is upside down pointing upwards but there is a cover covering my fuse box. Can figure out how to get it off to get to my fuse box.
@blueyedmedic911 if you watch the whole video there is a nut to remove and then you have to pull the whole fuse box back. Then you need a mirror to look at the back of the fuse box where the sticker with the code is printed
@@Summitauto thank you for responding so quick. I’m elderly hard for me to get up under the dash. My first problem is getting the plastic cover off. It’s covering the fuse box it seems. I can’t tell where it’s connected to pull off. I had to pay a locksmith a lot of money today. My keys were on the seat. I close my door and it locked automatically for some reason. It’s not supposed to do that with keys in the car. Thank you very much though.
This video saved the day! It was a pain to get to but the code is there and I was able to reprogram my lock successfully. I did not have a mirror so I used my phone and took multiple pics until I go a clear one. Thanks for making the video.
This was a lot of help! Although you need to be a contortionist to get this done, it was satisfying to do this myself and not have to pay the dealership. Instead of a mirror, I just used my phone and took a video up in there.

Dude, your totally awesome! Thank you so much! Found my code and back in keyless access business. It's a pain in the rear but persistence is the key, lol. Used my phone with video on and flash. Also a back up pen light positioned in that area. A small mirror with a pen flash light works well in the tight area.
@@rikityrik a lot of times it us not in there because the previous owner put it in their wallet or purse. I always check there first when getting codes, when its not there then I do this video.
I have a 2017 Explorer and cannot find the nut you say is there. Can you provide a better picture or specific location. Is the 2017 model setup different then when your video is setup with? Thanks
Just watch the video. There is a nut holding the fuse box down that the code is on the back of. It is on the Driver's side under the steering wheel towards the driverside outside of the vehicle. Not sure how much more clear the video could be. Maybe someone took the nut off already and you just have to undo the tab.
I'm having the same issue. It goes from here's the dashboard to,...okay now you can see the nut you have to loosen. Do I lift up the carpet? Is it behind a pedal. Tf?

This is not necessary if you have 2 key fobs! Just open the center console and find the pocket that fits a key fob. Hold the start button, insert the key fob, press the start button again. Remove that key fob and insert the 2nd. Press the start button again. The key code will be displayed by the odometer. Voila! I gave up on the contortionist moves after 30 min and this worked. I found it on the ford service page.
There is a large black panel just under there that might be helpful to remove to give you some more room and visability, but I was able to get in there without removing it.

It is almost on the drivers side of the vehicle. Gotta look under steering wheel and then look left. Look for that bolt. It is a tought one but I guarantee it is there.
Fords have a location where you can place the key fob, start the accessory power, wait ~5 seconds, turn off the power, place the 2nd key fob in the same location and repeat the process. There should be a notification on the screen with the factory code. There are videos on this available on YT.
It is the code I show you how to find in this video. It is the code for the keypad on the door. It will always work and you can use that code to program your own code. Thanks,

if you're locked out of your 2016 or 2017 Ford explorer and you've got a key thing on the door how can you get into it when the vehicle is running
You need the code. Which is what this video shows you how to get.

Pero si no tengo acceso adentro como le puedo hacer?
Get a spare key cut. Probably will need proof of ownership. Then find your code.
Oye bro la llave del carro también lo abre
🤦
Is the code in the manuel
It would come on a white card. They are usually with the manual in the glove box, but if is not then this is how you find the code.
Thanks
2021 pls

That works, but show everyone the two key method where is displays on the dash. No wrenches, no mirrors
I will have to figure it out and then video.
There is a better way using both sets of keys. This is a back up if you don't have both keys.
What way is that?
What's that method ?

Yes that’s correct. I used this way the other day. You just have to make sure that your foot is not on the gas of course…Worked perfectly!
I’ve got a 2019 Explorer and it’s not even similar to this.
What is the factory code
It is the code I show you how to find in this video. It is the code for the keypad on the door. It will always work and you can use that code to program your own code. Thanks,
You don't need to do this if you have two keyless fobs.
