I think you should stay in Korea. Any traveling internationally is going to put you at risk, and there's no guarantee that you wouldn't get quarantined for 14 days in some hotel or government facility upon coming back here. Most of us in the US don't even know what the government has been doing exactly to mitigate this stuff. There was a press conference that was not allowed to be filmed or have any recorded audio so that's a huge red flag to a lot of people that things are being kept from us/we are being lied to to avoid mass hysteria and panic.

I think it would be better to stay at Korea, we can’t predict the nature of the virus but scientists said it may be contained by the end of April , it might be very difficult and scary at the same time but if you leave Korea and suddenly the cases get reduced you might regret alot, so just be very careful and wait for another month. Everything will get better I hope you stay Strong 💪

Also think about if you did get really sick and you were in the ICU, not knowing if you were going to live. Would it bother you that you are all alone and so far from your family? Who would advocate for you with the medical staff in Korea? Who would fight for you to be kept on a respirator or whatever the situation? The critically ill people aren't able to breathe let alone speak. Let's say the hospital needs the bed and the equipment you are occupying for another patient, you aren't doing that well and that patient's family is demanding help for their relative. If push came to shove and a decision had to be made, what does the medical staff do? Who would know? What if a family member was in the ICU in the US and you couldn't get back or be with your family during that difficult time? What if you couldn't advocate for them? Think about a worst case scenario, the worst possible thing that might happen in this situation. Would you have regrets? The WHO just declared that the fatality rate for this virus is approx. 3.4%. The Spanish Flu of 1918 was around 2.5%. People keep saying that young people don't die but they did in Wuhan. A 24 year old nurse just died in Iran. They feel it has mutated to a more dangerous strain. If on the off chance this is a Spanish Flu of 1918 type of event, where do you want to be, with people who love you or people who barely know you?

Makes a lot more sense to stay in Korea, for the reasons you mentioned. I think the risk of both having the virus and say, dying, is still pretty low. Heck you might have more of a chance catching it at the airport or on the plane as you say. Are flights operating between SK and the US atm?

Apparently, you seem to be using your time really wisely making these great cons and pros videos. I guess I'll be one of your regular followers because your videos are so full of great comparisons.
Ah, my initial curiosity was about your name since I haven't heard a name like 맥사라 in English. Did you Koreanize your name at some point? :)

All in all I think you should just stay, because it will get to you Europe and America are on the rise of infected people, I wouldn‘t be surprised that in 1 month both continents have equal number to Korea just because the infectionrate is exponential and especially America doesn‘t seem to be bothered by it. I wouldn't necessarily say that being in the US is a bad thing, I live in a state where there are a few known cases and fatalities but nobody is really super concerned as far as I'm aware. Unrelated, there's a lot of racism popping up because of this craze-- Asian restaurants are shutting down because everyone is too afraid to eat Asian food (stupid) and people will walk away from or avoid me because I'm Asian lol...

Even here in the US I pretty much expect to get it sooner or later, as in in the time frame of weeks to couple years. Considering the inevitability of it as well as the differences in the healthcare systems, governmental abilities, and etc., I would even say in a few months’ of time, I might wish I was in Korea. Besides, I should remind you that the life here would suck without reliable arrangements of lodging and transportation (since you don’t drive or have a car). That’s just how it is here as you should know but may have seemingly forgotten. Last but not least, it’s roughly a 98% chance that you will be ok even if you get it (chance probably being slightly better in Korea than in the US). Any who, I really enjoy and appreciate your videos. Keep up the spirit. I wish you the best!
