I literally sprint to all train stations. I got an applause from the carriage one time after they had watched me sprint over a bridge, down the platform and jumped on as the doors were closing. How do people make it on time AND wait patiently on train stations...?

Hey! Make sure to ask lots of questions, complete all the intern assignments, and keep busy (ask for more work if you run out!). Having the right attitude will get you a long way :) and enjoy it! It's a great introduction to the profession and insurance industry.
Ah! That's interesting! You mentioned that it's so hot in UK right now. A friend of mine moved to London 2 years back. Last week we were texting and she said that it's SO hot in London right now. I was surprised. I'm from India and so is my friend. This girl has lived through 45°C summers and within 2 years of relocation she found London hot! I'm intrigued. I'm wondering what's the reason. Is it just that her body is accustomed to the new climate now or are summers over there climatically different...
Maybe the reason is that in the UK we are so rarely hit by such high temperatures we are less well prepared. We don't have much AC apart from in much newer buildings for instance.

Then of course, I snap to the present and recall your probably in inner london dodging the beserker mutant/zomboid pedestrians on your way to work. I'm rather behind the times my comp having been in for repairs the last two months or so. Not really surprised to see you've settled in Camberwick again...smashing. You WILL passs, ignore Gandalf!

@@PaigeY I’m no relationship guru but I feel dates are less important than the active decision to spend time with someone and get to know them better. You don’t need to call it a date to have a great time and the memories you make are valuable no matter what. It can even be just a genuine convo. just my thoughts, don’t mean to sound wise-ass 😂
