- With a heavy heart.. After 4+ years, I gotta say my fair wells to this channel. The decision was tough but it's all explained in this video. Rubber side down my boys! Follow me on my other channels: / @willandrambo and / @williamshakertech
If you lasted through to the end, then you know it just doesn't make sense to continue anymore with low viewership despite my increasing subscriber count. If I had to start over again (I may in the future) it will be a single topic not like PetroHead. But anyway, I appreciate you for being a fan and we will see each other again! (I won't be deleting this channel)
I started riding 2yrs ago and your videos have helped this middle aged man not be so afraid of riding. And YOUR time is equally as valuable
@@derekbrackett1622 Keep going man!
Thanks for all the content over the years! Always loved watching your bike reviews. Some of the best of the internet. Cheers!
What a great ride. Respect for not being a squid TH-cam channel and how much helpful content you delivered 🫡
Wishing you the best of luck and continued success!
Damn… I just found your channel 3 months ago and enjoy everything you posted up. You’re the only motorcycle TH-camr that actually got me interested in doing a track day with a bike. I learned so much more in the short span that I watch your channel. I hope eventually you will create videos again one day.
Much respect 🫡 brother! Thank you for what you shared over the years .. and if ever return we will support you !
Thank you for the street triple exhaust videos. They've been such a huge help for me and i'm sure many others.
So many of your videos helped me with my RSV4 and have been fun to watch, thank you. I respect your decision and wish you the best luck. Maybe I'll catch you riding one day!
Thanks petro for the content loved the knowledge u have and fun videos about motorcycling 🎉 😢 all the best
All the best! Really liked your videos.
Good luck on the other endeavors. I enjoyed your reviews.
I think motorcycle channels aren’t booming as much as they used to. It’s not just you.
Hey man it was nice meeting you at GP that one morning I’m glad your doing well ride safe enjoy your life I love all of your wisdom see ya around buddy.
Be sorry to see you go your videos are great I always watching your 959 videos they are great , ride safe hope your decide to come back maybe 👍👍
God bless you sir.
And thank you for your learning to ride a motorcycle playlist.
It was really helpful for me and for many.
I just discovered your channel and really appreciate it.
I'll be taking my first motorcycle class in the spring and am learning everything I can "classroom" style.
I am 5'1" lol
Best wishes to you in all your endeavors!
Wishing you good luck in your Career and future.
Damn that's unfortunate, for context I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and have been going through your vids. Really great content!
I understand where you're coming from though.
It was a really hard and emotional decision to quit after 4 years but it's too much work and not that much reward anymore and I am not getting any younger to waste time either. Thanks for understanding!
Best of luck and thanks for the tutorials.
Loved your vids on the R6 and ZX6R. I still watch those vids, till this day! You did good work on those, dude. Good luck, and thanks for the vids.👍🏽🥃
Damn... just saw the grom video and now this
It's been great following you for the past couple of years. You really have created some of the best motorcycle content on TH-cam and you inspired me to get a motorcycle during COVID.
I recall following the channel after seeing your ZX-6R videos and then you got the R6. I believe you had less than 1000 subscribers at this point. Then it got stolen and you had to go get it from the border. Crazy times. The excitement you had when trying new bikes out or going to the twisties, genuine content like that is hard to find.
You made a lot of great videos and with your style of taking shots of the beach or the view from the top of a mountain when you went on rides really made it feel like we were along for the ride.
I understand why your stopping these videos but know that your hard work into making them is appreciated. Motorcycling content on TH-cam was made better with you as a part of it. You will be missed.
Thanks Brian for all the support throughout the years. Much love bro!
@@PetroHead If you come to Switzerland again, let me know!
That’s where you’re from? I’m jealous of the scenery you get to see every day. Beautiful country. For sure I’ll let you know.
@@PetroHead I'm from Ireland but have been living in Switzerland for over 10 years. The scenery is fantastic but it looks great in San Diego with the Pacific Ocean and all the beaches you have. The coastal roads you drive along look amazing.
@@brianweir1366 If you ever make it out here, you got a friend. Cheers.
Thank you !!!!! I liked the Yamaha r6 … but then I fell in love with the street triple rs the way you presented the bike how you spoke how much fun you were having definitely had something to do with how/why I purchased mine .. I still remember when you took it to Mexico with friends and got some food at a restaurant haha 😆 blessings to you farewell
LOL that was a fun episode.. Happy someone remembered it!
What a decision. But I can understand why. It must be a little frustrating to have to stop this way, how things went with TH-cam. I enjoyed your channel especially because you gave so much information about the total scope of bikes and how to ride. Loved the R6 build series. Anyway, I wish you all the best and a lot of fun and passion in what you do.
Don't tell anyone but I've shed a tear or two reading comments and yes, very difficult decision but it just doesn't make sense anymore. I am 100% sure if I create a new channel with only a single topic and make it consistent, it will blow up really fast but not sure I am down for that right now. Thank you brother!
PS: I think everyone agrees that the R6 was the most fave bike on this channel. I still miss it to this day.
I think you have to continue on this channel, consistency beats algorithms, even if it is years and years, your high quality videos and audio are much better than a lot of bigger channels, i say that because i was following bike channels that was stuck on certain subscribers number for a long time and suddenly they are booming, you can do that you have the talent and skill.
Subscriber count isn’t an issue.. even though I stopped producing videos, I still get about 900+ subs per month.. the problem is that the algo has suppressed my videos to my audience. The other hypothesis I have is that my channel is almost 5 years old.. many of my early subs moved on and interests prob changed.. therefore, algo follows their newest interests as well. I’ve been thinking of starting a new channel.. we’ll see. But anyway, thanks for the motivation.
it feels bad that you're not making content anymore. I started watching your videos during lockdown, and used to check up regularly on what you were upto. Didn't know you felt this way about yt. Will miss you man!
Ohh, sorry to hear. But I understand you, I myself have been creating various content just for fun. And then suddenly I posted one thing that was quite popular, it resulted in double amount of subscribers! But... well, those will be very disappointed when I post something completety different than that. Which I do from time to time :) maybe the thing is like you did, have various channels with different themes and before creating one. Think of the route it will take and the purpose. Not easy being a content creator these days :) love your videos! Take care
Watch the ‘I’m back’ video
I always loved that you didn’t do just one thing, you’re open minded and did honest, interesting videos with actual personality! I feel like some of the daily vlog guys have these clickbait titles and just churn out garbage content, sucks thats the game you have to play. i’m definitely in that 5% that watches everything you put out, currently between bikes and doing research i really appreciate your reviews and opinions on bikes. May I suggest that you throw a video on here every once in a while if you feel like it? I’m really gonna miss your content. I live in sd also so i hope to see ol Petro out in the wild sometime. Thank you for what you do. ✌️
Definitely bro.. goodbye for now but maybe not goodbye forever. If you see me in the wild.. feel free to flag me down.. always love to have a fireside chat with fans and people in general. 😊
Yeah man I was looking forward to videos 🏍
Your a solid dude, enjoyed the content! Have seen you a couple times zipping through Del Mar on the RSV4, but never got a chance to say hello. Wishing you and Rambo all the best!!
Thanks brother! Next time flag me down.. always love having a chat with fans. And yes.. off camera I move with the RSV4.. hope you don’t live close by cuz she loud AF lol
I decided i want to get a bike and all of theese have helped and what actually motivated me to get one
Ugh. I got to know you through older stuff within the last year. I hate losing a rider and one that wants to share. And literally I don't see your new releases
Most people don't see my new videos when they are released.. hence my channel being suppressed. Its hard to continue this way so hopefully you and others understand.
Bro just come back. I just ran into your channel and it’s amazing. You are well organized and have a big wave behind your content. Hope you come back 🤵🏻♂️👍🏼
You’re not the first… I’m about 90% decided.
Its ironical that I watched a recommended video of yours about rev matching and when I checked the channel, and the first video in your feed is about you quitting TH-cam.
TH-cam is real crazy with its algorithm
I still read comments. 😊
And what if I like random content about motorcycling, with a consistent quality, style and delivery. Its exactly why fortnine is popular.
I am here for the presentation.
This makes sense!
Broo miss u do volgs may be ?
I am considering it… (really)
I do only post music, my covers of ac/dc, initially I had like thousands of likes ,now I’m having 200-400 likes on much better videos and it’s related to my political comments on the videos I watch…. Maybe this relate to you too.
Kinda confused.. you made political comments and it had a negative effect on views?
Top channel Shame
Don't delete channel😢
I won't be.
Well, glad you’re back. As an fyi, I owe you one. Because of your vids, I knew how to pull off the 02 sensor, the EXUP servo motor and install a full Yoshimura exhaust with block off plates and a Bauce ECU flash on my 2019 R6. She’s a SoCal inline 4 badass💯🔥🦾❤️🏍️
You can buy me another R6.. miss that bike like a fat kid misses cheesecake lol
