    If you watched the ENTIRE video, then this will make sense:
    1. It is OK to be on TRT so long as you have worked out 6-12 months or more, started a proper nutrition, stopped drinking alcohol like a fish, took supplements, etc and NONE of it has worked. At this point it makes sense.. for sure.. go for it! I would too.

    I literally just bought my first bike this morning. 2024 Ninja 500 SE. Taking my MSF next month May 9-11th.
    I'm turning 53 this year and personally I'm using this as motivation to lose weight and get back in shape. You think I'm crazy for going all in before getting my license and actually experiencing riding a motorcycle? I've been stuck in a routine way too long and I've had enough. It's time to get out of my comfort zone and I WILL make this happen. I've lost 18 pounds in the last 8 weeks and aiming for 28 more by end of summer. Don't ever tell yourself you are incapable. If you want something - dig deep, set goals and just do it.

      also 53 this year, bought an R3, rode it home yesterday - struggled, dropped it (no damage) but made it home safe - testing my own limits. MSF course also next month 21 - 24. I am doing this because i was scared off by sooo many people. in my early 20's i had a GSX-R 600 for a couple of years but rarely rode it due to the weight, stupid power and family concerns and gave it up. ff 30 years ... going to learn to ride the proper way, the safe way ..

    I am 25. I am more or less half of your age. I always find myself around older guys. My mom calls me old. Some of my friends call me uncle. Now, even TH-cam suggested me this vid. And I am grateful to be around older guys. Like you said, older guys have wisdom. Not that I am full of wisdom, but surrounded by wisdom is a calming environment to me. I am aiming to get a sport bike, not to flex, but to ride slow and enjoy, knowing that I can go fast as freak, but I choose not to. Your content really inspired me. Thanks.

    i think theres alot to your assessment of the current generation is correct. They don't seem to desire to get outside to do much of anything. As a kid, i was outside not only because i was told to go outside, but also because i wanted to be there. That's where my friends were. We hopped on our bicycles and the adventure began. Always exploring, and i doubt my parents probably never really knew what i was doing or where i was all day. Bad thing was, they wouldn't let me have a motorcycle. Life went on and now at 60 i've jumped into it. Got a bike i can handle, taken the classes, and i will probably continue to do so. I'm having the time of my life!

  • @raynaldtorres1731
    @raynaldtorres1731 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I learned to ride a motorcycle in my teenage years by borrowing my friend's motorcycle. My parents never gave be the blessings to get one. I dreamed of being like to Cruise in his Ninja. in Top Gun. The thought of riding was forgotten because my parents wont let me have one. I understand and I I'm glad they did because I was still immature. I ended up being a surgeon and treated trauma cases from motorcycle accidents as well. At my late 40's I decided to learn again. Took lessons and everything came back, like I just rode yesterday. Because I am more mature now and know the consequences, I would say that riding at a later age may be safer because you could afford the best gear and wont do any stupid stuff. However, it brought back my youth and my sanity. It also made me maintain my fitness. I eat right with no co morbidities like obesity, hypertension or diabetes. I have seen places I would not appreciate if I was not on 2 wheels. Motorcycles are dangerous, that is a fact. Knowing that fact makes you a better rider. Ride safe and let's enjoy life. Two wheels forever!!!

    I'm 59 and started riding at 56. I was pretty much green as grass as I had last rode a minibike when I was 7. There should be nothing to hold you back. Be confident and learn. Your decades of driving a car will be invaluable in being to proactively recognize and respond to dangerous situations you encounter on the street. I do find that I am much more cautious than I was 30 years ago in that I have no interest in riding off-road and dumping bikes....I simply do not pop up as quickly and readily as I did in my 20s.

    I’m 50 and rode for years but sold all my bikes ( including a zx10r) as I kind of lost my mojo and thought I’d quit while I was ahead. I’ve been missing the thrill ever since and feel like the only truly exhilarating thing in my life has gone.
    It’s interesting finding this channel as I’m actually looking to get back “in” with either an rsv4 or gsxr750. I was always inspired by a biker I saw doing a huge wheelie years ago on an r1 and I saw him later in a petrol station in his leathers. I was shocked when he took his helmet off to see he was probably in his mid sixties and I thought, f hell YES!!

    I just turned 49 and got my license and my first motorcycle (Yamaha MT-09). I didn't do too well in the MSF course. I think a lot of it had to do with riding a motorcycle for the first time and there was a lot of information to process. I did manage to make a 100 on the skills test. My MSF instructor and a motorcycle dealer who trains riders both said to skip the "beginner" bike and get the bike I want. It was a wise call. I feel very comfortable on my MT-09. I have it in "beginner" mode (actually 'Rain' mode) which makes the bike perform at around 60% of its full potential. I think maybe a week or two more and I'll give 'Street' mode a try. I'm a safe rider and focused on practicing my skills religiously. I don't ride outside my skill level.

    I stated riding at 28, I’m 45 now and have no intention of ever stopping riding. I’ll have a Harley forever.

    Definitely wrong about the younger generation not taking risks lmao, but I love your videos!

      Can we agree that on a ‘broad’ perspective, the young generation is poorer than ever and that’s making things even more difficult for them? The average age of riders in 2024 is over 50! (In the 80’s it was 27!)

    I'm wondering if we will ever see an all new RSV4? Here in the UK track days can be pretty expensive and come with very strict noise limits which your RSV4 would never pass, we also have an ever increasing number of speed cameras and now noise detecting devices on our public roads. I'm now in my 50's & Superbikes have and always will be my first love but like you said they are now in their twilight years sadly. An insightful video.

      It’s hard to say.. how will they sell enough to be profitable if they can’t sell it in EU.. new regulations come out yearly so it’s inevitable.. for now, they are churning out new colors yearly. No updates other than colors.

    How much does an average cost of a track day?

    • @TheRealChuxter
      @TheRealChuxter 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In Arizona, track days range from $145-$250 depending on which track and organization you ride with. I do occasional track days in California and Nevada, and they range from $200-$250 again depending on the track location and organization. I like track organizations which use the reward system where you can use accumulated discounts on future track days.

      I’ll make a comprehensive video about related costs one of these days if this comment gets enough likes. 👍

    You can boost your T by fasting once in a while or for a day, 2 or 3. Whatever you can handle. Give your body a chance to R &R. Go get MSC stem cells one time. Don't get stuck on the stuff that makes you dependent, especially if you want to do bike tour holidays in other countries or get an ADV and go ADV touring. Besides, put a woman on the back seat of a bike and she's revved up by the time you get home. Think smarter, don't work harder as you age.

      Agree about the female part but don’t get into an argument because that’ll lower your T, especially if she cries (it’s been proven). As for the other stuff.. no scientific evidence but all this has been proven scientifically:
      1. Don’t drink alcohol
      2. Work out with heavy weights & lose fat
      3. Eat red meat, eggs, protein etc
      4. Do manly shit that excites you (riding bike example)
      5. Don’t graze like a wildebeest.. only what your body needs.
      6. Don’t eat soy based products
      7. Sleep.. lots of sleep (7-8 hours)
      There are prob several more but that’s most of it. Btw.. married men have 20% less T than single men. (Prob natures way of making men agreeable, especially if children exist)

    Well… motorcycles will go down some and then come back, but different. Asia is like so many bikes there as real transportation. I bet that happens in the USA at some point.
