Upgraded to the M1 iPad Pro a few years back and it’s been a beast! Came from an iPad Pro 10.5 and the difference was noticeable. I’m not upgrading for several more years

I’m still on the original iPad Pro from 2015. For my iPad I just need it to do iPad things and it still does to this day. Best device I’ve ever owned. I’ll probably break down next year and upgrade as it’s stuck on iOS 16.
I still do have 10.5, thinking about upgrading for diablo immortal best graphics

Watching from Air M1. Pretty interesting comparison!
Currently using an M1 Air and it appears to be just a fraction slower than the M4 Pro. For every day basic use the speed difference is negligible. But if you get into more advanced tasks and gaming you may want to spend a little more on the Pro.

Rocking my iPad Air 5 since day 1, and my MacBook Air M1, not upgrading until perhaps someday iPadOS has grown enough to run any website without an issue and the magic keyboard builds up better protection. Till then, I'm happy with both of my devices doing what they both are originally build to do best.
I regret getting the air with just the same money I couldve gotten an ipad pro m2 I bought a screen protector a folio case A apple pencil and it a totaled up to the price of a pro m2

@nickackermanchannel OK. I just prefer touchid over faceid because I don't have to pick up my whole device all the time to use it. I can unlock in my bag or under a table. It is the more convenient option, I would prefer both, but this is my take

Bro compare with a M1 Pro iPad I upgraded from an m1 air to M1 Pro iPad I notice a massive difference in performance and my m1 air use to get soo hot but the M1 Pro is cool to the touch on the same games I play.
The first example you gave, opening apps at the same time didn’t really show the difference but if you were to do something simple like going to the App Store and updating apps at the same time and that would give a better example of the differences and that would carry over to other download differences but of course you would need the exact same apps on each device that needs updating in order to tell the difference. I have the last version of the A series chip from my older iPad Pro and now I have the new M4 iPad Pro and I did the app update test with the same apps and I had over 40 apps that needed updating and the M4 finished updating all the apps about 10 times faster than my old iPad so try that if you can and see what happens.
This is a way better boot up test....i think it should be made the official way to do a boot up speed test.
Im so looking forwward to get the M2 iPad Air! I want something futureproof like that and honestly I dont matter tha lack of an OLED.
For me it will be a B I G upgrade because I will come from an 8th gen base iPad.

Honestly, I had a iPad 8 and that was running everything smoothly still for me. The iPad Air is a better option for most.
Apple called them both "11 inches" but we can clearly see the different from the bezels and size 😂 one 11.1" and one 10.86"

pro for 120hz and better speakers, m2 vs m1 is almost no difference
since 2021 mustbe a oled or mini led screen in ipads pro, in did, all screens must be oled/mini led and 120hz, this is the minimal actually, use a m1 process with a 60hz screen is an insult.

the benchmark and the video render export was the only thing needed to be showcased. App opening is what iPhone 4 Vs iPhone 4S was for. Apps open so fast these days that anything showcasing it is just filler content at this point. I wanna see how the chip-sets compare doing heavy layer workj in ProCreate etc..

I have the m1 MacBook Air and m1 iPad Air they are both sticking well in 2024 ıf you are not professional there is no need for M4 or M3 ım serious.

Going to wait for next ipad in a few years before considering upgrading.

Its doesn't matter its your or not, cuz if u can register one finger for video then u can probably register another also and lets say u couldn't register another finger due to some reason, then why did u made it look like u can only register one finger and its inconvenient to unlock when in landscape orientation.
