Beta always comes with caveats, Google latest lawsuit delayed Android implementation. Still a huge positive win for gamers to not only stream select existing owned games but also future purchases of just buying once. Unlike other competitors, that makes gamers purchase for each platform. Now every device is an Xbox. Having the ability to play any game I own & will own in future, plus hundreds of games from Xbox Microsoft Gaming all for 20 bucks…that’s POWERFUL BEYOND DREAMS. I watched this on an Xbox 💪
So a beta launch on a beta service. Cloud gaming really needs to get out of beta and launch with improved features already. This slow and steady building of features over years for a beta streaming service isn’t something Xbox should be doing when console sales are dropping.
This new feature is available on firesticks, samsung tvs, mobile but not on series x?? I dont get it, i just tried streaming witcher 3 and theres only a dowmload option.
OK, I just tried out this new feature on my Meta quest three. The visual quality is great, but the games are too laggy. They’re playable, but only if you could tolerate a good chunk of lag.
xbox streaming, not supported on an actual xbox. i mean i guess the thinking is that you can just install the game there but it looks bad.. Also advertising the ability to play your own games seems a bit weird? that seems like a given than i should be able to play games that i already paid full price for, atleast to a regular consumer that doesn't quite understand the details of streaming. it feels like it should be "play your games on any device" or something. i'm really disapointed in xcloud in general, the performance and image quality is way behind something like geforce now, where you've been able to play your steam games for a heck of a while btw
People just gotta bitch about everything. Even things they don't understand. You buy a digital game for a particular console/platform. If you want to download. Good for you The streaming is for you to olay it anywhere else that's not that console. And that's what the monthly sub is for (among other things). Google stadia didn't give you new games to play also. So while part of it might look like stadia. It's not really. That's like saying you look like an elephant because you have 2 eyes and elephants have 2 eyes
Despite what Microsoft state, I'm certain they will be out of the console business by 2030, they will probably license the Xbox brand & software out to hardware partners for game pass boxes & handheld pc etc. I now play mainly on Steam, as now PlayStation games are also on steam, seems to me that Playstation & Xbox platforms are committing suicide.
Hi, Sony fan. If I were you I'd be more worried about sony destroying from software... Let me help you out because you will never hear this in your echo chamber. This isn't sony versus xbox... We are talking about sony competing with microsoft... Xbox is just a division that happens to make more money than windows.Think about that.... Sony is charging basically $900. For a slight upgrade and just lost four hundred million on concord.... Meanwhile microsoft just made billions of dollars off of candy crush😂😂😂.... You should do independent research before you speak....

Actually what xbox most likely plans on doing is to bring pc game functionality over to their next xbox basically bringing their ecosystem full circle.
@@theafchefstable8284 I'm not saying Xbox won't be around, Xbox as a service is doing good business but those gains are not from Xbox CONSOLE sales, it's from game pass & their game releases across their supported platforms - PC, Xbox One, Series X/S, mobile phone, even Switch & Playstation game releases.. And it's already FAILED dramatically, with the new Flight Sim game being totally unplayable because MS didn't expect so many to login to play the game.....
If you're referring to remote play (streaming from your console), then that's already available. This is streaming non game pass games in your digital library from ms servers.
@@tinhoyhu when I say catching up I mean that PS has been doing game streaming snice 2014. They currently offer 4K 60fps streams, personal library streaming, as of today the portal is now a dedicated handheld for cloud streaming. Xcloud has less features but is available more places

The games we own? No no ... the games we licence. Ownership doesn't exist anymore.
Yea that’s annoying. DRM FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
womp womp. we know geez
Always crying
Ya we know that’s everywhere now not just Xbox
It hasn't existed for multiple generations now... That's not a new thing.
Really good news. Owned games in cloud is great. I want Microsoft rewards in xbox in Finland i hope they do that.
That's what I liked Stadia. You could buy the game, mouse and keyboard support
Problem is you had to buy the games, they could only work with stadia, and they were full price
You could stream to any device already, but your Xbox is your server!
Do the use AV1 yet for the streaming?
Cloud Gaming, the eternal beta…
Thanks Brad
xbox should launch a cloud only, less expensive, GP tier.
Not working for me in Canada, some of my games are on that list and no go.
There's too-much BS on this channel 😏
I see what u did there
Need more Brad Smith
Badum tisk 🥁
I just want remote play with touch controls
Not in Colombia
Will these games run at 60fps 1080p though ?
Own where? I own cyberpunk on xbox but I now play on PC, can I stream it?
If you own the xbox version yes you can stream it but know itll be the xbox version
I'm a xbox

I dont really see the point of streaming to hardware is capable of downloading and running the game instead
Isn’t the tag line “this is an Xbox” not “everything is an Xbox”?
Hopefully Rockstar allow GTA 6 to be streamed.

So stream . Not download . A monthly sub to play games I paid full price .
Sounds like Google stadia
Stadia was actually free to play for games you purchased (at 1080p resolution)
@ not the first year. But people were so upset. They changed it.
It's an option... You can still download them to any piece of hardware that supports downloading and playing games natively. Jesus christ.
In total fairness, it’s the same subscription you’d be paying for Gamepass on PC or Xbox already

I thought this was already a thing? Where they been? Tf
does not work
So, If I own a physical copy of cyberpunk and it is not loaded on my disk drive. Can I still play it in the cloud?
My guess is if you purchased it from MS/Xbox, then yes.
You have to buy the digital version
