Regarding to Geforce Now - you somewhat ignore the fact that to play a game, you actually have to BUY it first via Steam etc so on top of the price for streaming you pay for game itself. Thus, for average price PER TITLE say 60 euros you pay 10 euros for streaming. Playing multiple games can cost you few hundreds or even thousands . While in case of Xbox cloud or PS cloud service you pay only and only for service with selection of games without any additional cost. That seems a huge difference to me.
I love it also plays amazing. Playing black ops 6 on a $60 fire stick with a 2.0 kd. Why spend $600 on a damn console when I can just do this, hell I got basic spectrum cable Internet with zero issues running it. The way i see you can keep the high price hardware
The windows app is garbage! However if you use a browser on a PC instead the quality is significantly better due to the clarity boost option. This boggles my mind! Use edge to install it as a app on your desktop and forget the store version.
The app on PC is garbage, don't even bother. It's so buggy, Halo Infite STILL has loading issues but yet runs fine on Steam??? Get it together Microsoft. So glad I still have a Xbox Console

Sure ps+ premium is cheaper but gamepass you get more bang for your buck plus you can get gamepass cheaper something close to 120 for a year unlike Sony locking you in to their store service you can get great deals outside of the xbox store
I live in Mexico and I've been playing Fortnite, Forza 5, Lies of P, and now BO6, and I have no issues. I play on my pc, it's not the best pc just for basic work stuff. And it runs fine tbh, I never had any issues when it comes to lag, it works perfectly. But i highly recommend that you have your ethernet connected directly to you pc if you do play o cloud, its just way better
weird looks fine on my computer here in the U.S with 1gb speed. When i use it to play fortnite Im gettin 60fps and no lag or anything bad.. Looks the same as when I would play the game nativily on my xbox series x
Cloud gaming with Xbox One is pretty rubbish really, notably the irritating screen refresh every 7 or 8 seconds. Was looking forward to playing the new Indiana Jones game today, but it's too much of a pain with cloud.
Hrm, have you seen the game list from Blacknut ? How can you compare it to the Xcloud list ? Honestly, if the quality becomes better, it'll be the best offer
Sucks now more than ever on my Series S. A large round bing/edge cursor covers the center of the screen every time I try to play a Cloud game. Sh*t like this really makes me miss Stadia. At least Google knew how the hell to implement cloud gaming so that it worked. micro$oft has no effing idea. micro$oft: "Here, pay us more money and we'll give you less for it."
I've found that cloud is OK if you want to play games like Mass Effect Legendary Edition or Dragon Age trilogy, lego star wars etc, if you have an xbox S. Those games will exceed the storage on the S and you'll have to keep switching out your games which is just irritating to me (rip being a PC gamer and not worrying about such things as often 😂). But, if you want to play live service games like Sea of Thieves, Cloud gaming is atrocious. It's way too laggy to let you ever get a good experience with those types of games. The moment I can get a new PC, I won't have my xbox sub because I already have most of the games I want on my steam account 🙃
All valid points. Not a concern I personally face playing on Android, but definitely an important use case. Again however it comes down to that complimentary service feeling, rather than a stand alone thing that they're trying to market it as.
Luna is secretly making strides quietly. The GPU has been upgraded to a 3080 grade, the latest star wars games are delivering ray tracing and all the other bells and whistles. They've held off on a 4k stream ATM but I think it won't be long. The streaming quality is really good and the lag, well there is none with an Amazon controller, it's night and day different.
It's still terrible and has been from the start when it was in beta. Like you said, it actually seems worse now. I have 1 GB/s internet speeds with Wifi 6e and can't stream one Xbox game from the cloud without a host of issues. Abysmal video compression, frequent screen refreshes, a mountain of packet loss, low bitrate, and input lag that basically renders the games unplayable if everything else hasn't already. Literally every other cloud gaming service runs better smh.
Also that ps5 cloud gaming is only on ps5 not on pc not on phone not on anything nada. It isn't really worth talking about if most people can't use it.
Evey PS Fan can use it...X Box dont have that in that big numbers...and the most Peopel who have Tablets or Office Laptops...dont use this Devices for Gaming..they use it for Office Work...and dont give a Shit about MS CloudGaning there😂

Hah yeah right
Xbox Cloud gaming here in my location is still terrible I’m in the us and doing research. It doesn’t matter how fast your Internet is. It’s all about latency I literally have gigabit down 1000 and 1000 up but with the latency of 20-50 on Wi-Fi and it’s borderline unplayable the image quality is terrible and can’t see anything. I’ve tried this from an iPad M4 with a beautiful oled screen and really powerful m4 chip and still horrible.
I personally think it's perfectly fair when Xbox are trying to sell you that your phone, a device that can only access internet via Wi-Fi or mobile data, is an Xbox console. Or they're trying to sell you that a handheld gaming device like a Steam Deck or ROG Ally is an Xbox console. A Tablet, a Chromecast, even smart fridges are all apparently Xbox consoles. As that is what Xbox are selling, that is what is tested, and if at that point it doesn't perform, that's on them. Xbox failed here
The system is primarily set up for controller use, it doesn't have to be an Xbox controller but a controller of some variety will give you more options
Wrong, assuming you have a good connection. Then Cloud gaming today works way better than PS5 and Xbox series-X console gaming right now by far. Try GEFORCE NOW ULTIMATE and BOOSTEROID now and you'll see how far ahead cloud gaming is above and beyond the console gaming experiences today. It has smoother gameplay, better graphical fidelity, and even less latency than your local console. It surpassed the modern console gaming experience by far. Yes but it's improving since they added mouse and keyboard support for some games. The quality still sucks.
