@@HKChineseCanadian I started to become interested in Chinese culture when I was young. I would go to the library and ask for books on China. When I was told there wasn't many book I was curious why not? I started to realize that this cencorship continued late into the 90's until the internet arrived. At that point my eyes were wide open to China. Still at that point I couldn't find great photos or videos of China's cities. I worked as a derivatives trader left the business to move to Europe mid 1990's. From that point I started an import export business in 2001 and developed relationships in the business with many Chinese suppliers. I started to travel to China with my wife many times, and each time I notice massive improvements. From that point I felt I had to share this with the world. When I moved to Thailand about 7 years ago, I continued short trips to many Chinese cities. I had a desire to share these experiences with the world. I opened my TH-cam late 2019 and started to film, source, hire freelances to fly drones, licenced footage, fly my own routes etc etc. It became an investment that I funded myself. I feel my passion to support a culture/country that has not been represented correctly is my duty. I try to express this in my videos. My wife and I take greatcare on the voice overs, music tracks, video clips and edits. We want this to be an encyclopedia for people to learn about China. Every single cent I receive in support go to cover this investment in time and aerial footage. The more this community grows and supports, the bigger the message gets to the world who clearly don't understand China.

Another impressively crafted production. In China at night the lights come out to play in a way that seems organic, as though they have a life of their own. The way you've edited the sequence with the skyscraper lights, they seem to pulsate in time with the tempo of the music. You know how to capture the essence of these places by tapping into their energy and the videos always have a holistic and harmonious quality to them.
We try our best to show the beauty of China
Beautiful Chana !
Thank you
This is a keeper, Alex! Good to know you got there safe, looking forward to your livestreams there when you start, but don't forget the others either. Be a good boy, remember your better half will be there soon. ))))))) You know I'm kidding, but if I can put a smile on anyone, I will do it... Love you guys!!! Cheers!!! 😀
Thank you Michael, was nice to see you on Alina's live stream today. Enjoy your day.
Went to Foshan 2018. Population was 7 million. I think it’s a neighbour city to Guangzhou and people speak Cantonese which is the main dialect spoken in Guangzhou. Therefore, Foshan is like greater Guangzhou.
Thank you for the comment
@@Reporterfy
Actually, Guangzhou is the capital city of the Guangdong province. Guangzhou and Foshan in the ancient time was on it's own prosperity, however, Guangzhou does better as time reaches modern days and then Foshan was kind of assigned under Guangzhou to be managed.
In the whole Guangdong province, Guangzhou and Foshan was the only two cities that are very famous for food and martial art, and some other products such as those paper art cutting (Folk art) and have deep historical background, Hong Kong was nothing basically.
Wow what a advance city with new and old blends in.Good video.

If many expact live there I suspect there in the Technology Industry with so many companies in place . Alex, I am so glad that you are picking these lesser known gems to film. The transformation of this once backward place is nothing short of a miracle and would make Bruce Lee and Ip Man proud. I will share this with every one I know.
Miracles and dreams come true, I'm proud of the Chinese, much more to come.
@@Reporterfy Alex, I have to ask. Do you have any Chinese blood in you? Sorry for being nosy but you are way too kind to China.
@@Reporterfy wonderful story, suggest you make a video for this story , I believe a lot of people are interested in it and want to understand you more . Obviously you are volunteering for this .

Great video Alex!! I'm intrigued how they get their building to display such colorful images and how they're all coordinated together. Also in North America we constantly strive to conserve energy so this is conflicting to see from that respect. Thoughts?
Good question! and this is going to be well explained in an upcoming video.

Being there in 2003 summer, it was a quiet and peaceful town in my memory. People gathered together at night, drinking tea and watching opera performance, under huge trees. Will definitely revisit!
