This concert was really the first concerts where the audience was allowed to sing and yell out loud!
Japan was still careful about the spread of COVID and there were restrictions in venues.
In the concert both Saiki and Miku asked and encouraged the crowd to open up and sing along.
They did start as the concert continued and it is Band-Maid so how could you not want to shout and sing!
    Thanks for the reaction.

Yes, the orchestral opening is in the music video. This was the opening theme song for the Japanese anime series “Platinum End”. That's why it's short and manic.
The reason for the subdued crowd response was this show was January of 2022 and Japan was still under covid-19 restrictions. Some of those restrictions was fans had to not only continue to wear masks but they were NOT allowed to yell, scream or raise their voices at live events, believe it or not. A few weeks later, I believe end of February all restriction were lifted.

That's right. For the most part, the Japanese follow the "rules". Such is their culture. Disciplined people.
Some people don't like it... but there are many advantages.
For example, the things you took over - rock, metal, etc. - they can maximize. :)
(They told the audience NOT to shout, ... well they DIDN'T shout.... That's just the way they are... :D:D

"Sometimes you're in a Band-Maid mood." Yep, for me it's about hourly or so? 😄
Thanks for the great reaction again! 😄

Lol, if Akane were to get more limbs, Kanami would find a way to require even more 😂

Tokyo Garden Theatre okyuji was a Saike _tour-de-force_ She was awesome from beginning to end. She sounded great and was confident in her stage presence. I watched the livestream at 3am my time... no regrets.
The orchestral opening is a track and appears on the studio version. Kanami created it at the request of the anime producers for an epic beginning.
This was the first Band-Maid concert in Japan after they loosened the rules allowing the audience to cheer and shout. I don't think the crowd was well mic'ed, comments from folks who attended said they were plenty noisy. Thanks for the reaction!

It shows how talented and professional Band-Maid is when they can play the music from their official outstanding music video live on a stage and not miss a beat, chord, or have a sound drop. The have an amazing sound crew who know exactly what the Maids want and need for their live concerts. They are amazing in live action. I've been to two of their live concerts and hopefully when the return to touring the U.S. in 2025, I'll be able to go to those shows.
Kanami created the soundtrack at the beginning of the song.
The crowd in Japan are more subdued and post-Covid there were many restrictions on audience enthusiasm at live concerts.

BAND-MAID use Backing Tracks. Kanami does nearly all the backing tracks herself to replicate the studio version as close as possible. They don't have to though. Once the airlines lost the luggage with the computer in it. They just rearranged the setlist and the show went on. They were more concerned about the sneakers they'd bought in L.A. But everything eventually turned up and the next it was back to normal, with sneakers.

Kanami will attempt to write drum parts at times for Akane, but once she tries to play them, they often apparently agree that it would require a third arm to play them and so have to pare them back down to playable by a mere two-armed gorilla.
For Black Hole, Akane came up with seven different kick drum patterns that she named from the easiest being "Easy-Peasy" through "Normal" to "Painful" to the most difficult being called "Hell." Apparently the band agreed unanimously to use the "Hell" version.

Great to have a thoughtful reactor- sometime the images in reactions are made so small. They managed recreate images from the studio video with the fantastic lighting. Many people have commented that Saiki came out on fire for this show.

Mask rule was still on and everyone was wearing a mask at the venue, but was cheering and yelling behind the mask 😊.
I was astounded how powerful the vocal actually sounded live, and the whole venue felt like shaking. What an experience it was.

Definitely an orchestra at the beginning - you're quite right. They always use that on a backing track to start this song. They were leading off with in in their US tour a couple of years ago, but I prefer From Now On as an opener.

Never out of the Band-Maid mood, just sayin! Saiki keeps getting stronger and stronger! The coming release of the combo song with The Warning for "Show Them" is really a step forward for both bands!
