    Great job Luke. That old Worcester was saved from deaths door. These servicing companies need to be shut down. Trying to hold poor customers to ransom. . Flexis on rad pipe work is outrageous 🤬. Luke to the rescue❤..

    Finally I've got some spare time to catch up again. Love your methodical approach on diagnosing the faulty rad, just a pitty you ended up having to lift up the flooring to find flexi hoses caused the problem due to crappy "all the gear no idea cowboys", like you said if it was done properly before you would not of had to go out to that one. I've come across similar issues in kitchens and if it's not due to flexi hose's its when they used push fit and either forgotten or don't know to use pipe inserts or not pushed the pipe work fully all the way in or not tighten up the fitting. The latest one I came across was copper pipe work in a kitchen where there was solder only about 2mm inside the fitting and the pipe was held in place by the clips so once it was moved slight water was leaking out of the connection. Your video content is ace keep them coming and thanks.

      It’s always kitchens and bathrooms I find the most bodge jobs, which is a shame because most of the time the customers are paying a lot of money to have a nice kitchen or bathroom fitted and the bones of it (the plumbing work) am poor quality
      Glad the videos am helping mate and appreciate the support 👍

    Yes had that before with flex pipes fitted to a towel rail, the rust and sludge seems to attach easy to the rubber inside and block up, that’s the worst part not knowing what someone else as done you can’t physically see, had an emergency call Friday where water was coming through the ceiling from under a bath, water was dripping from both tap connections, to cut a long story short turned out to be coming from the tap that had only been fitted two months back and the plumber hadn’t put a washer under the mixer tap, so when the shower was on it was pouring straight under the tap😂

    • @bluebulldog_uk
      @bluebulldog_uk  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah the diameter inside them flexis is next to nothing as well so don’t stand a chance down the road…all that trouble on your job as well for the sake of a 10p washer 😅

    Rightio charged my daughet £368.40 to repair a burst pipe in her attic. Emergency call out which 4 hours before he appeared without any parts or even a torch (used his phone) Had to go to Screwfix for parts. Rightio say they have to guarantee the parts repair. My stepdaughter had a cowboy builder in. When she finally sacked him she asked me to put some radiators in. When she asked for the one in the utility there were no pipes. I had to cut some of the new stud wall out to find the pipes! That was only one of his cowboy capers.

    Great vid as always mate, my little tip on the Worcester block is to cut the bit off where the screw hole is for the subframe mounting with a hacksaw. Gives you loads of wriggle room then to get it off the bypass. Keep up the good work 🤙

    When I get a block on a rad I drop the pressure and then connect the pressure tester to release the block, then add cleaner. Normally does the job, hydrolic has a bit more oomph. Obviously the flexi was the problem more than a block in this case.

    • @bluebulldog_uk

    My niece was going on holiday on Good Friday last year , her toilet was constantly flowing , I don’t live close so she called an emergency plumbing company . They said it would be £120 call out plus parts and labour . She accepted and a guy arrived he had to go to local Screwfix to get a ball valve and syphon . Instead of just turning the water off as they’re mains and going on holiday . They charged for everything £1200 ! I said you could have bought 10 toilets for that !
