Thank you so much for sharing your enthusiasm and knowledge.. I’m in the middle of Bookkeeper Launch and loving it! Thanks again Morgan for the little golden nuggets that you hand out. Blessings 😃
I am glad I took the plunge and enrolled in BK Launch - thank you for the video on that program. Definitely looking forward to your fall video on the new QB certification
I am currently in my Jr. year of college and I am going to be pursuing my CPA licensure once I finish school. That being said, I am still going to start my bookkeeping business because this is what I want to do. I also currently working in accounting as pretty much the head of AP so I am looking forward to seeing what I can do as a bookkeeper.
Hey Morgan, thank you for all of the video you put out! Do you have any books that you recommend that have helped you understand the day-to-day bookkeeping activities? I have heard you mention the Launch course, but are there any other useful and applicable resources that you have used that contribute to your knowledge of subject? Thanks!
AT THIS POINT WHEN IT COME TO SINGING A SOLOIST I WILL DIVE IN SINCE I HAD SANG IN THE CHOIR AND GROUPS. I DO NEED MY SOUND CHECK. WHEN IS COME TO WORKING IN BOOKKEEPING IT WOULD HAVE TO BE A SYSTEMATIC PLAN IN PLACE. IF YOU ASK ME THAT QUESTION 8 YEARS AGO, IT WOULD BE A DIFFERENT ANSWER.
This video was perfect thanks so much, just wanted to ask if your course is specifically tailored to starting a business in the US? as I am based in the UK
Thanks for the great videos Morgan! You mentioned if you could do it again, you would not be so cheap. What did you mean? What would you have invested in early on?
In hindsight, I would have invested in a program like Bookkeeper Launch. When I started, I was very focused on spending the smallest amount of money possible, but in some ways it made things harder (like, I kind of DIYed my education and spent a lot of time researching things on my own--which was time consuming, but free).
I learned what I know about bookkeeping through my first job, a small business. I learned to do AP, AR, and payroll for them, their way. Now I want to work for a larger company in either AP or AR department or become a full charge bookkeeper…but I still feel like I don’t know enough about bookkeeping. I don’t have experience in closing or trial balance, and Chart of Accounts. So I went back to get my AS in accounting, but I still don’t feel confident in those areas I mentioned and in entries related to Equity accounts. Would an additional bookkeeping class help? Should I look for more entry level related jobs to gain more experience?
Morgan- It sounds like you feel Bookkeeping Launch is a good investment. The one thing I’m confused about is, does that program contain actual QuickBooks training?
Bookkeeper Launch is VERY thorough and starts at the beginning to teach you all about bookkeeping, debits/credits, accounting rules, etc. They give you a QBO subscription to practice on & hands-on experience. -Gabe (FinePoints Admin)

Hmm, very good question. I'll do some research and hopefully make a video or Q&A about this.
@@FinePointsBookkeeping This was definitely a good question

Hi Morgan!
I saw in one of your videos that you were taking the BKL program. Roughly about how long does the program take to complete?

You mentioned a National Bookkeeping Certification. Where would I look into getting that?
Good Information
