Hector, as usual you gave great info! I'm currently studying for the AIPB certification and wanted to share with your viewers that they are currently charging around $300 for the study books and another approximately $200-250 for the testing. It's not necessary to come up with the entire amount at one time. The books can purchased one at a time or all at once. Cheers! What is the difference between QBO U.S version and Canada version? Are there many differences? If I get a U.S version certification, can I use it in Canada?
I reconciled my credit card account in QBOL, and the software indicated that I was all set. However, The balance that it showed was more than the amount that was in quickbooks. Also, there were some transactions with no green checkmarks. Is this a problem I need to fix, and if so, how would I fix it?
There is a reconciliation process, it includes deleting duplicates and erroneous transactions manually. You probably skipped that step. Its hard to understand without doing it live, so I recommend to hire an expert to do one with you.
The thing with AI is you have to remember that there are a lot of businesses that are no where near ready to be using AI for accounting. Most companies are not that advanced yet and won't be for another 10 years.

Hey Hector I had a couple questions. What is the best way to contact you? I’m in a position where I feel I should obtain a bookkeeper certificate. I already have an associate degree in accounting. I just recently took over the financial responsibilities for the church that I attend, and I was looking to branch off by having clients in the future. With that being said, I was hoping for your expertise. I assume you teach bookkeeping courses, correct?
Hi Hector, I am from India. I have a bachelor’s degree in commerce which includes accounting and have done my masters in business administration. Wish to become a bookkeeper for some US or Canada based clients or to start with work for a accounting firm remotely. Where should I start with? Should I need to learn US accounting procedures? I have worked in some of ERPs in India.
You look like a Mexican. Where are you? I am Mexican and I saw some remote work options. I am actually an industrial designer, but part of the study plan is to calculate the cost of a design product, factors such as the market, a promotion balance, etc. so that the design can be profitable. I have worked as what would be the equivalent of a bookkeeper for small businesses. But in Mexico there is not much notion of this. I would be interested in doing it remotely.
In recent days, there are many expats coming to Mexico and working remotely, and some fellow Mexicans are doing so. I want to be one of them. Thank you a lot. take care. @@HectorGarciaCPA

They will be ready faster than what you expect
@@HectorGarciaCPA I'm actually surprised at how slow they are going. Most can't afford to automate AP or AR so they will always need bookkeepers.
Thank you !

I dont teach it
Ok sorry for the bother brother
@@josh1667 no bother
Hi Hector, I am from India. I have a bachelor’s degree in commerce which includes accounting and have done my masters in business administration.
Wish to become a bookkeeper for some US or Canada based clients or to start with work for a accounting firm remotely. Where should I start with? Should I need to learn US accounting procedures? I have worked in some of ERPs in India.
Yes you do, learn QuickBooks
Thank you❤
You're welcome 😊
I am a beginner studying Accounting and Finance department. To enhance my skill related to bookkeeping what shall I do?

You look like a Mexican. Where are you? I am Mexican and I saw some remote work options. I am actually an industrial designer, but part of the study plan is to calculate the cost of a design product, factors such as the market, a promotion balance, etc. so that the design can be profitable. I have worked as what would be the equivalent of a bookkeeper for small businesses. But in Mexico there is not much notion of this. I would be interested in doing it remotely.
I am 1/8th Mexican and 7/8th Venezuelan. Live in Miami. Yes many people work remotely.

Is it true you have to go to school & learn accounting first before becoming a bookkeeper?
