I've always loved the 1947 Met broadcast with Bjorling and Sayao but Shicoff is hard to beat here. Thanks for posting these clips.

Thank you very much for your kind comments. Shicoff is really great singer but sadly he is not known widely. First experience to listen him was video of GC La Boheme with Contrubas and Thomas Alen, wonderful singers. I was amazed with acting and singing by all performers.
