Well since they needed to create the Ark using Ontos as the Core, Nia and Melia are Good Friends and Nia's Sister Wives are Mythra and Pyra, they definitely knew about it prior to XB3 events.

Passively acknowledging but not really factoring in subtext, the expressions, transitions, movements and especially the transitions from normal to chibi artstyle are so amazing! It’s real fluid and visually appealing, fantastic job. Plus in this… new context, the expressions fit very well.
