I love BDK! I remapped my controller's left bumper to special specifically to make the wave bounce easier because it's just so damn fun to zoom across the stage.
Honest question, how does that make the wavebounce easier? Wouldn't that make it harder, since you've moved all of the inputs to your left hand instead of hitting the B button with your right hand?
@@NZsaltz I use the right stick for the actual wavebounce, makes the timing much easier.
So the inputs would be: jump backwards, special while still holding that direction, point the right stick in the opposite direction to override the left stick. Gives an easy and consistent wavebounce.

Mii Brawler has been one of my mains since release and I almost always equip burning drop kick due to its recovery and mix up potential. How the heck did I not know about this bug.
Also, I had no idea that b reversing flame dropkick would do this! I just liked that you could use it over and over and that’s why it’s my favorite. Thanks for giving me another reason!
Between this and Brawlternative, it's nice to see new Smashtubers with interesting content succeed!

backwards jigglypuff pound has a similar effect, she SNAPS backwards very quickly.
Just tested- pound actually works entirely as intended. The “snap” is actually just because jigglypuff leans forward during the move, so the effect from b-reversing is amplified a bit. Speed is flipped fine, and the move doesn’t use any acceleration
@@LilyLambda true, just thought it worth mentioning because she has so much air speed that it goes surprisingly far and quickly
And note that it doesn’t go *any* farther when b-reversing
@@LilyLambda if she has backwards speed then yes she goes much farther backwards when b-reversing, if you just try pounding backwards without the b-reverse it doesn’t carry any momentum at all.
@@LilyLambda but it only has a effect when she is retreating away from a opponent and then she b-reverses towards her opponent for it to have that intense speed because she carries her momentum going backwards into going forwards, making her go much farther
