1st off that place is amazing, vending machines in Japan are always top notch but those are classic and unique! I'd gather it's not the healthiest but would love if a place like that was near by. But I'm concerned that the machines are out in the open, the weather must really wear on them! It would nice if the owner made a complete cover so they're all protected, a large covered seating area, etc. so it would be comfortable to go all year round. Like I could see this in a warehouse lol🙂LOVE this unique eating content!! :-)))))))))
Takao-san is a good day trip, you can catch the express a couple times in the morning from Shinjuku to get there quicker. Mt Otake is a good one too that is not as popular and on clear days you get a good view of Mt Fuji.

There's a lot of secret eateries in Osaka like the electronic district and a shop that's a secret restaurant hidden in the middle with a huge sharp sign over the entrance, and a secret dessert shop hidden behind a wall with a shelf that's blended in with the wall that is actually a pushable wall door that's opens up to a secret dessert bar. It's inside a place called Blanche Confiture.
