I just realized something from the video. I know Delena doesn't eat pork and made me wonder do the pizza baos have pepperoni in em cause pepperoni is made from pork and beef mixed yeah?
I believe it's not that she doesn't eat pork at all, but just tries to avoid it as best she can. For example, lots Ramen use pork broth and pork fat, like Ichiran, and she still eats it, but will not eat the pork slices etc.The pizza mans don't have pepperoni as far as I know, they are more generic pizza sauce and cheese.
How long ago did you guys film this? We just got back from an Okinawa-Fukuoka tour (January 13-22). Only thing we needed was our passports and vaccine clearance. Anyway, you can't beat Japanese convenience stores! But, coming in a close second is Hawaii 7-11's where we also have onigiri but also spam musubi, and a wide variety of local Hawaii dishes (i.e., kalua pork and cabbage) as well as ramen, pho, and saimin varieties.
I don't know how people can get sick of you both travelling in Japan, I love it. Travelling to Japan in June, going to Hokkaido this time so won't be able to visit the places shown but I'm sure I'll be filling up on convenience store food!
I am laughing so hard about the pronunciation of 'Baumkuchen'. This actually is a german word (and recipe) for a cake with layers. I guess you pronounce it the right way when it is a Japanse word.
I agree! These videos help a lot. When I visited Japan in 2019, their videos help me to don't starve to dead during my visit!!! I walked all tokyo train station trying to find the bear donuts you guys showed in one of your videos.🤣 Great memory. Thank you guys, great video like always. The food looks delicious! I'm Aussie with mostly European and Mediterranean heritage and my genes SUCK! So many genetic illnesses in my family including bad teeth (we just get them pulled at a young age), diabetes, obesity, heart issues and lady part diseases like endometriosis or cervical cancer 😥
Like one of the very first things Anthony Bourdain would go to when he visited Japan, would be a Lawson's egg salad sandwich. You think it's hype until you have them, they're soooo good.

Breakfast at 7-11 Cheesy spring roll 10 out of 10 in my book. I would go back and get another. Family Mart for Lunch. I was shocked neither place had Sprite when I went hunting for it. Crispy and cheesy chicken sandwich delicious 10 out of 10. Dinner rolls around and not hungry. Never herd of Molsons. What happened to a beer?? I guess neither of you like pistachio because you put down that ice cream ONLY 10 out of 10 from me for Dinner. I laughed out loud with you for seeing half a doughnut. 1 Word Outstanding
100% that Chicken, Egg, Chili sandwich is fantastic. I had that a couple of weeks ago and will absolutely recommend it. I added some spicy ketchup to it. 7/11 also has a great bacon, egg and cheese onigiri that is better than that one you tried, which I think is a little bland. Chonny, at the FamilyMart, why didn't you pick the egg sando that was on sale?
Family Mart’s spaghetti bolognese is superior 😍😍 also Lawson’s cheese tteobbokki is gorgeous. I would definitely miss the ready meals you can find in China and Japan if I moved back to England 😅😅
i just got back from japan a week ago and the conbini food is so good that it can make you miss out on a lot of other great food. you’d be surprised at how many times you’ll go in looking for a snack, only to end up buying a whole day’s worth of meals… i ended up throwing away a lot of leftovers because i bought so much that i couldn’t finish and i wanted to try new things the next day lol

The secret to the egg salad being good in Japan is the Japanese egg. Quality control is top notch, larger orangier yolks.
