Thank you for your words of wisdom, and for speaking the truth in love. My wife and me have been using the CTM method with our son, and it has worked. It got us through the really hard temper tantrums early on. He whines here and there, but we have been trying some other techniques provided by the love and logic institute. Parenting has proven to be quite the challenge. But I am grateful for your channel, it has helped me through some challenging times. Thank you again for all that you do.

The CTM method is also great. I only have to ask 1 time if They want to do CTM or if they're done and they're usually done.

Currently 30 weeks pregnant with our first, and whenever I see toddlers throwing a tantrums I tell my husband how we will be doing the CTM method to stop that behavior. It’s sad because the parents are humiliated by it and the kids are not happy either. They are being trained to scream and cry to get what they want in the world. This behavior can continue into adulthood. I’ve seen it in college students when a political disagreement arises or at debates on campus.

Since when did you become the spokes person for so called progressive parents?? I am a pretty progressive person and parent, but I certainly don't do what you are suggesting. What you're implying is being progressive means you dont know what love or healthy parenting is. That's very judgemental and unchristain of you.

A spokesperson generally is someone who advocates for a cause or organization. I would say I’m the opposite of a spokesperson for progressive parenting.
