SO THANKFUL for this video! :D I bought second-hand and this just really gave me a peace in mind knowing that it can be cleaned and as if it were unused! We followed your process and it came out perfect! The only thing I would definitely have noted is to definitely velcro everything back together before washing and just to be super careful when your airdrying that the velcro doesn't stick to the fabric around the bassinet. I made the horrible mistake of having everything undone and having to pull the velcro off the side fabric and now i have snags all around my bassinet and it looks more worn out and used then when i bought it. There may be a better way of taking velcro off fabric without pulling out fabric but i dont know any of that and just made things worse. So please learn from me if you're a first time at everything mom haha but i really really appreciate this video at least i know its nice and clean for my little one and that's what matters the most (as my husband keeps reminding me.....but as a first time mom i want it to be perfect, you know?) Anyways! again thank you so so much!! God Bless you and your family! :D
I'm a DIY mommy myself and recently purchased a second hand Halo for baby #2 on the way. I searched for how to wash (not clean) this thing and watched your video. I'm also a pretty handy woman myself and would have found a way to put this thing back together. The disclaimer should be "if you are not confident in your capabilities with taking things apart and putting them back together then buy a new one and don't watch". People didn't just stumble upon your video but I thank you for it.
Congratulations on baby number 2!!! I think you're 100% right! If you don't feel confident in your ability to take apart and put back, keep scrolling. Thanks for watching.
Wait, people legit had issues with the last video?! 😭🤣 Anyways, thank you for this video! I didn’t need the assembly instructions…because I have common sense to just do the steps backwards 😅🤣 but I still appreciate it! Thank y’all! ❤️
Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I got this bassinet second hand and really felt like our little girl needed a clean sleeping space. Once I took it apart I found so much build up and stains and now it’s almost brand new just one stain wouldn’t come out.
I just bought one of these from FB Marketplace and was worried about the staining on what appeared to be impossible to take off. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO!!! Not only did you make this SOOOO much easier, I’m pleased to say that all the stains came out! Yay!!!
Thank you for showing us how to take this apart and put back together. We purchase a used Halo Bassinest and only spot treated the fabric it before using it. We decided to follow your directions so we could wash the fabric before selling the Bassinest. We’re even sharing the link to this video in our selling description. Thanks again.
Thank you for the follow up as well! We got this bassinest second hand and while it /looks/ very clean, my husband and I want to make sure its super clean and sanitized before our son arrives in a few weeks!
Absolutely Awesome Instructional Video - Gma’s house has a used one and would not even think of using without EVERYTHING coming apart 🥵 phewwwww Thank you for step-by-step 👍 May God Bless your family 🙏🏻
I'm about to try this with a twin halo o bought secondhand! Wish me luck! I've already watched the video once so I'm feeling confident I can do this, your instructions were great! 💪
Amazing step by step guide! Btw, I bought a second hand and the people before definitely overtightened some of the screws. I put some wood putty into the wholes and then the little screws. I let those dry over night, and perfect!
This was super helpful, thank you! I purchased an older halo used (trying to keep things out of landfills, and like you said- babies are expensive!) and needed to wash it- but was unfamiliar to how it worked. Both this and your earlier video really helped!
That little round plastic part where you mention to not put upside down, the screws came out easy, but then they were too short to go back in... Going to have to run to the hardware store.
Hi love, I only put a slash of bleach and a splash of resolve. They say don't use bleach but used a bit. Don't use chlorine bleach because it yellows overtime.
@@CouchMomClub Hi i have a question when you put it in the wash did you use any baby detergerent for the washer itself or was just you let it soaked it in resolve water and bleach and just threw it in the washer machine with no additional add ons? Also how long did you let it soak for?
@@Pixiedust940 hi, I don't use baby detergent because my clothes are washed in regular detergent and my baby's were always on me so I didn't see the point of using baby detergent. None of my kids have sensitive skin. I used regular detergent in the wash cycle and I soaked it over night.
I love that "Mom" said she does not follow directions. I like those coffee cups, those handles are awesome. Where is #timbrim? I wish I could sleep in a Bassinest, it looks cozy.

Excellent point! We should all wash while Velcroed! And thank you so much for watching. I'm glad it helped.

Oh and thank you. I tried to be more thorough in this video.
Nice to see Tim back on the couch. I had no idea he ever sat down.
It's rare 😂

Thanks for sharing! Glad the tutorial worked for you.
I love you!! Thank you so much! Secondhand Halo is now sparkling 🎉
Yay!! I'm so glad!! Congratulations 😘

So glad it could help! A second hand halo, properly cleaned, is a great choice! Congratulations on your new baby! All the best!
Thank you for posting this! My boyfriend and I struggled lol

I think you’re just not getting the screws to line up in the right place. You shouldn’t need to go to the hardware store for anything.
I have had the same problem. The entire thing has not been lining up either. Beyond frustrated.
Super helpful! Thanks so much!
You're welcome!
What are the screws size for the 4 legs at the bottom? The 4 screws for the 4 legs.
Video was super helpful
Done and done!!!! Thank you!
You're welcome ☺️
Thank you so much for the tutorial! I appreciate you so much, what is the cleaning product ratio you used? (Water, bleach, resolve)
Thank you again

Feedback: Successfully; disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled halo bassinet with help of Couch Mom Club 👍🏻
Thank you ☺️ I appreciate your feedback! All the best with your little one 😘

Also I love that set you’re wearing😍
Thank you love ❤️
I love that "Mom" said she does not follow directions.

Where is #timbrim?
I wish I could sleep in a Bassinest, it looks cozy.
Thank you 😊 #timbrim ... they don't make it like that on the couch 😂
How did you clean the soft bassinet cover? I bought it second hand and am looking to deep clean before use! Did you put in the washing machine?
I soaked mine in a water, soap and bleach solution then machine washed it and line dried it.
I’m trying to reassemble mine and the part at 9:08 will not screw in. It just won’t fit the screws seem too small? Did you have any trouble with that?
If I'm understanding correctly, it's likely because the fabric needs to be readjusted to clear the holes.
Thank you!
Thank you so much
No problem
THANK YOU.
How have you been doing lately? Long time no see loll
We've all been great 😊
Hey heyyy
