This was super helpful! We were going back and forth about which of these 2 bassinets we wanted for our little girl but ultimately went with the 4moms (we were so glad when it came back in stock just a few weeks ago!). I'm hoping our baby girl loves it.
Im so glad you found it helpful! I think you made an great choice and she will totally love it! Let me know if you have any questions when you use it! :)
@@innadream3087 She did! We still ended up using a Hatch sound machine along with the sound machine the bassinet came with. My daughter was not the best napper though (still isn't). If I had to go back, I probably would have gotten a basic bassinet or just went all in with the SNOO.
For those concerned about Halo assembly difficulty... I just received my Halo yesterday. The top came more put together than what was shown in video. The top was easy to put together. Mine came in three pieces. The main benefit/appeal of the halo is the swivel feature. If you have carpet or a rug in your bedroom, the halo is easier to move to get out of bed without having scoot past your bassinet or move then entire bassinet.
Thanks for updating everyone Mama! Glad the newer ones are more assembled. I also showed it completely disassembled to show what u have to take a part to clean that version 😊
Wow. Thank you so much for the help! We were going back and forth. From looking at this video We’re going with the 4moms for our baby girl. Very helpful!
Hey I’m about to be a dad !! This video was very helpful, I think I’m going to go with the 4moms bassinet. Seems it has better reviews for my daughter to be safe.
Hi!! Thank you for watching 😊 My daughter is pretty tall and has been since birth she is in the 97% so for her we took her out at 4 1/2 months and she still had some space but was needing more freedom. Probably would have been okay to 5 months with her height. Hope that helps!
Don’t get a halo they are slanted baby can roll over and suffocate !! My baby is a week old about 7 and a half pounds and she rolled over onto the mesh !!!!!
Hi 👋🏻 we used it until my daughter was 4 1/2 months and it always worked. Baby #2 is due September so we will be testing it again soon and I’ll do an update video to show its storage and longevity. 😊
Hi! Thanks for watching 👋🏻 yes it does have a timer and you can adjust it via the app. I personally wish you could have the option of no timer because it only lasts 4hrs (unless they changed something in the last year) so what I do is every time I wake up with baby I reset the timer to the max time again. This keeps it on. It’s on there to not make them dependent but my daughter never had any issues weaning off of it and going to her crib. Hope this helps! 🤗
Absolutely hated the halo. It begins to tilt and the freakin legs are a nightmare! Always tripping over or stubbing my toes. On my 4th baby and definitely purchasing the mamaroo this time.
Hello, I never used the vibration on my device it was too loud. The motion always worked though on all different settings up until we put it away at 5mo since my daughter is in the crib now.
Does the 4 moms have a collapsable side? My baby kept dropping his pacifier at night and had to keep replacing it all the time. I really want the collapsible side on the Halo but also want the movement from the 4moms, can’t decide!
Hi! 👋🏻 No the 4moms sides do not collapse only for storage. That is one thing that is great about the halo if you are breast feeding or just want easier access. The thing that helps with the 4moms is you can adjust the nights at two levels, this might make it easier access for you.
Hey mama! Thanks for watching! No, it never sounded like that, I think you should call 4moms because it should barely make any sounds at all. Check out minute 7:20 on my video th-cam.com/video/fEeBGMw2YT4/w-d-xo.html that's how it should sound, very quiet. Hope this helps!
I think the better option is the halo and more convenient and as well as “realistic”. I wish the halo had movement . For me since I will breast feed, and I want my daughter next to me I think the halo is better for me
What was your actual experience? Was the halo tipping over ? I have seen negative reviews for the halo not staying straight? What about safety? Did you baby actually sleep in these bassinets ? Or are you just getting paid to talk about both?
No the Halo was very sturdy never tipped or anything of the sort it’s a great product just wasn’t for me or my baby. My baby slept in both she just slow better in the 4moms one because she wanted the movement. They are both very safe and breathable and i can say that with complete honesty because my daughter likes to sleep all against the mesh lol. No I am not getting paid to review either one of there bassinets or the video at all, just wanted to give my review 😊 I’ll always let u guys know if someone sent me something or sponsored but I don’t review products I don’t believe in.
Love this! We went with the 4moms for our little girl who will arrive so soon but we found the mattress is so, so thin. Did you find this a issue? We’re you able to find a different mattress? We just feel it’s going to be uncomfortable for this brand new babe coming. We are just concerned about the mattress.
Hi! Congratulations that’s so exciting! I thought the same thing with the mattress, I had actually gotten a expensive mattress for the halo because of the same but i kept the original one for the 4moms bassinet and she was always fine in it. 😊
@@pineapplemama807 sorry I should have asked this too! Did you get a new sheet or use the original. It’s just kinda loud and not really soft. We were just gonna buy another sheet.
Yea I got two new sheets that were for the halo and they fit perfectly only like 1/2inch bigger so i tucked it on the sides. the link to the bassinet sheets is in my video description 😊 hope that helps!
Love this comparison! I have the Halo bassinest from my daughter, we loved it! I wanted to try the Snoo but I'm not willing to rent, and spending that much on it was not worth it. I herd this was in the works after my daughter was born and I was so excited to find out it was available since #2 is Due in December I was really wondering if it was worth buying especially since I loved our Halo. The whole control panel (lights sounds exc) was pretty useless because we have and use the hatch baby rest. Plus I found myself replacing the batteries every few days. We only used the vibration, is it just mine or is yours like that too? I Loved the storage because the halo took up so much room we had to move my bedside table out of the room. so i needed somewhere to put nursing pads, burp cloths, my phone, Chapstick and lotion, so that will be missed. Big question. now I know this is a no-no, but hear me out here. will the snuggle me or dock a tot fit inside the 4moms? My husband stays up while I sleep. We have a Owlet and a baby camera on the bassinet he is watching it the whole night so I feel safe letting baby sleep overnight in it. In the Snuggle Me was the only way my daughter would sleep and I plan on using the same set up for Little sister if she likes it.
Hi thank you so much for watching and telling me a bit about your experience. And congratulations on expecting #2 soon! How exciting! We also have the hatch and used that AND the mamaRoo sound “shhhhh” machine setting and honestly I just loved it so much the motion was amazing for my daughter. Totally no judgement here mama, the boppy fits in the bassinet, not sure about the dock a tot I would try it but my bassinet is now in storage.also if you want storage at the bottom then do have an additional part you can buy. Best of luck and make sure to message me with any questions! :)
This was my question too! One of the IG influencers I follow has a dock a tot inside her mamaroo bassinet but I’m not sure if she uses it like that for overnight sleeping.
@@Fridate hi! Thanks for watching, the ADD recommends against inserting any pillows or loose blankets into the bassinet, that being said however a lot of people use dock a tots or boppy’s when supervising they infant and it helps them sleep. Some pediatricians for medical reasons have also okayed its use but those are specific to their needs. Hope this is helpful... I let my baby sleep in the mamaRoo seat which a huge no no but she wouldn’t sleep otherwise so as moms we do what we gotta do
Pineapple Mamas very true!! Thank you for this insight! My baby isn’t due for another 16 weeks but I want to buy this now since it’s on sale so I’ve been watching reviews. Some people say that the “mattress” is really firm and hard so that’s why I was thinking about inserting the snuggle me but now I will think against it since it’s not advised.
Like I mentioned in the video this is just based on my opinion and experiences with both bassinets 😊 I’m not an expert just here trying to help out mamas!

Hello,
how nice that you are reviewing the mamaroo. I'm thinking about getting it too. how many months do you think your baby can sleep in it?
Hi!! Thank you for watching 😊 My daughter is pretty tall and has been since birth she is in the 97% so for her we took her out at 4 1/2 months and she still had some space but was needing more freedom. Probably would have been okay to 5 months with her height. Hope that helps!
If you’d baby needs constant movement what is going to happen when it finally goes to a crib?!
The transition was safe and simple to a crib, you wean them off of the movement which is perfectly safe and approved by the AAP.
Don’t get a halo they are slanted baby can roll over and suffocate !! My baby is a week old about 7 and a half pounds and she rolled over onto the mesh !!!!!
But the mesh is breathable for that reason🤔
Great video the only thing you did not mention was the comfort of the actual sleeping area for the baby
Thank you! My babies seem really comfortable in the bassinet mattress and they love the movement. 👍🏼
How do you clean the mesh? I tried to remove it and I don't know how to do it. Could you please make a video? 🥹
How long did the mamaroo last? Ive seen alot of reviews where they say it broke in a month.

Great video! Is there a timer for the movement? Or a way to turn it off via the Bluetooth? Thanks again!

Oh my gosh yes!!!! I forgot how much i stubbed my toes too with the halo! Did not know about the tilting that’s a bummer !
This is funny!!
Just a quick question on your 4moms sleep bassinet is your vibration working mines just shut off
Hello, I never used the vibration on my device it was too loud. The motion always worked though on all different settings up until we put it away at 5mo since my daughter is in the crib now.

I’m confused. Breathability is just a marketing term and all true bassinets have to pass the same safety testing.

I guess people cover the big hole on the top after placing babies in the bassinet?
