Cutting up my BMW Z3M Strut Housings To Accept Koni Inserts

    If you thought about upgrading your suspension on your BMW Z3M, I believe Koni yellows is the way to go. Many people get turned away because it's not a plug and play solution. In this video, you will see how easy it is to modify the strut housings to accept the Koni inserts.

    Here is a trick ( you can see it in the vid, but I didn't explain it): Skip to 5:58. Use the rubber dust boot that came with the new shocks as a template to draw the cut line. Also the manual that comes with Konis gives you the exact measurement.

    You forgot to mention how many millimetres you had to cut off the shock housing. I have this job to do, nice to see a rehearsal🍻

      Yep. I think this is the best setup for street/modest track use short of using coilovers.

      For shock mounts, there are multiple options available. I used Lemforder.
