Darth Wredd is by far one of the most darkest reflections of Darth Vader as he had no one to look to for redemption for everyone he ever loved died on his homeworld, and he allowed his hatred to drive him to reach heights of powers that will forever shattered the Sith Order that spawn out of the Rule of Two, but that has always been the flaws of the Sith for they seek to des themselves in the pursuit of power and Wredd used that power to achieve his revenge against the Sith.
It’s kinda sad that Anakin’s story didn’t officially finish with Sidious as it should have. The Sith continued despite the Chosen One being their downfall. The best I could guess is the lineage of the Banite Sith were to go extinct since the force actively did fight against Plagueis’s influence of both creating life and altering the dead. Two things the force fought back when creating Anakin.
Actually, anakin did bring balance. There was always a leveled amount of jedi and sith, bringing “balance”. First he destroyed most of the jedi, then he destroyed the final majority of the sith (including himself) From then on, there was always up to 6-13 jedi and 1-2 sith. He still brought the levels increasingly down, so id say that is a win.
Except that Darth Wredd fundamentally *didn't* want to re-establish the Rule of Two, save as a method of destroying all the other Sith, including himself. It was the only way he could conceive of doing it.
Good point about holocrons. Even if all Sith did get un-alived, there’s still a bunch of non-Sith Dark Side adepts and even Dark Side orders. There’s always going to be new blood strong in the Dark Side, and if one happens across a Sith Holocron, like you wrote, that’s all it will take to start a new Sith Order. To even theoretically remove any possibility of reanimating The Sith, every Sith Holocron would need to be destroyed, and every historical and technical and encyclopedic reference to The Sith would need to be edited and destroyed. It happened once, it will happen again. But who cares if the Sith go truly extinct. Similar cults will always spring up, some will organize, factions will be born, new orders will be created. The name will be different, some of the esoteric qualities will differ, some of the rituals will have variations, but on the whole the new orders will have more in common with Sith than not.
What about Darth Glovik, the Sith Lord that once served Revan and Malala who sealed himself in stasis for thousands of years up to the time of Cade Skywalker.

I do want an actual ending for star wars, but at the same time i do not want it to end 😅😅 But i think the ending that the sith actually got is in fact the one they deserve... Except i do think that star wars is far more interesting if there's a dark side in play rather than just the space conflicts (whether it is the politics or the direct confrontations) So i do think that this is an ending for the sith... yet i don't think that this is the true end of the *dark side*
You are mistaken. Balance isn't : 50% of Light and % of Dark. Balance is the Light because the Light represent selflessness and Dark selfish nature. Dark Side is a corruption of the Force. I invite you to read more about George Lucas interviews when he developped what the Balance is, in details. People really think that the Balance needs both sides to exist equally but no, because as long as there is selfish person, it will seek for domination (no matter the nature of that domination) and so, selflessness will disappear and so good person. The Chosen One Prophecy should've meant Sidious and Vader were the last of the Sith. If there's one thing I disliked about both Canon and Legends, is that they kept the Sith going after Anakin died. I mean, I guess the occasional Dark Acolytes could've been somehow justified but, all these extra full on Dark Side users, these Sith? Shoot, they lasted 100 years after even Luke? Nah mate, should've ended it all once Palpatine fell down a Reactor shaft. 😅
The Prophecy is about restore balance by destroying the Sith. Doesn't mean it was the end. Because Balance can't be secured forever, as the pull and push attraction cycle between Light and Dark is eternal, it's actually accurate that new Sith can appear. For George Lucas, Light Side of the Force is actually the Balance and the Dark Side is the corruption of the Force generated by its users and selfish actions.
That's probably the biggest reason for the downfall of the Old Republic Jedi. The somewhat arrogant belief that positive and negative emotions could be cut off from each other like surgically separable conjoined twins.
Depends on how one views the One Sith as Sith. In a way their orders principles deviates to far from it, their founder wasn't recognized by all the previous Sith Orders founders as a Sith. Even then the surviving Sith post Palpatine are a bit doubtful if they can be called so. Sure, Lumina is tried by Vader and styled herself as a Sith but she was never truly his Sith Appearance, the Lost Tribe had been cut off for thousands of years and basically gone partly native.
the sith will never truly die nor dark jedi, the fight between the jedi and the dark jedi is more about a fight about sentiments and emotions. while the light represents the more humble, moderate and innocent side of beings the dark side represents greed and hate. as long as they're those who are selfish, narcissistic etc there will always be dark jedi and given time the sith order would come back albeit under a different banner/name

It would have been awesome if the reboot just adapted the Legacy comics instead of making a sequel. Just do some flashback with OT characters and leave their end mysterious. John Boyega would have been awesome as Jao Assam and Daisy playing Ania would be better than Rey. But I remember KK said we have no source material...
