- Darth Krayt is a villain that I would have loved to have seen replace Snoke in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. I think he would have made for a much more interesting character, and perhaps could have been working under Palpatine's resurrected soul if they wanted to go with that story still.
Darth Krayt AKA A'sharad Hett, knew Anakin Skywalker and fought in The Clone Wars. He later went to outlive Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine after Return of the Jedi's timeline to have confrontations with Cade Skywalker.

Darth Krayt's story was tragic as hell:
-His mom died when he was only a baby.
-A crazy b*tch killed his father.
-By fault of his own tribe, his relationship with Anakin was damaged.
-Lost his lover Xiaan and his apprentice Bhat during the Clone Wars.
-Had to fight against his own army.
-His tribe expelled him because he was defeated by an hermit.
-The Empire forced him to live as a criminal.
-The Vong tortured him in a very painful way.

Darth Krayt is one of favourite Sith Lords and his Rule of One was an extremely interesting idea.
It was an interestingidea , the only flaw is the power vacuum from the top Sith Lord's death, but Krayt obviously had no intention of dying and planned to rule the One Sith forever... things seldom go as planned.

his back story is definitely interesting, but i always felt the rule of one was flawed. it returned the sith to what they were before darth bane's time, and it seems like infighting would've arisen to destroy them again.

i can't blame Anakin's rage because losing a parent is hard enough as is but losing his mother under those conditions(tortured) would make the best of us extremely angry.
Exactly. People in the scene after he killed the raiders are like “what’s that baby crying about?”. Dude! His mother was murdered by savage raiders and then took his anger out on them, after the slaughter he realized he is just as bad as the savages that killed his mother.

What I really love about Krayt's story is how it brings the entire EU together.
Almost every era of the EU plays a role in shaping his destiny, so having him as the main villain in Legacy makes it feel like the culmination of the whole EU timeline.
Having the villain be a byproduct of everything that has happened in the Saga is really cool, IMO.
Being trained by one of the first sith lords, is something that ties it into a neat package fosho
Yeah, he has a connection to every major era in the star wars timeline. Old Republic, Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War, Yuuzan Vong War and finally he came to be the Emperor.
And once again it is shown just how much better legends are

Dude if the Kenobi series takes place anywhere near this time period, then we need to see the duel between these two and basically have it foreshadow Darth Krayt as the next main villain in trilogy #4. The period between ROTJ and TFA could be the period where he is with the Yuuzhan Vong. Disney literally has the perfect shot to do this.

What they should do is re-introduce A’Sharad in the Kenobi series and have the famous duel. It will be in the literal same area of time as it is set to take place. Also, it could foreshadow Darth Krayt being the main antagonist of episode X, XI, and XII. They literally have a perfect shot at doing this if the execs at Disney even knew who Darth Krayt is. Hopefully with George on board it will be a possibility. If Rey is still in the franchise by then, she’s gonna have some damn work cut out for her.

Easily one of the most intriguing characters in Star Wars for me. Heck, everything about the Legacy Era is fascinating but Krayt and Darth 'Sexual Energy' Talon are incredibly memorable for their designs alone.

You know Darth Krayt could have been the next great villain in the sequel or a different trilogy to give another reminder the consequences of Anakin revenge of the on the Tusken like if they have him still be a Jedi but find out that Anakin destroy the raider camp but the one he and his father was raise in that lead Krayt to the dark side seek revenge on Anakin and bloodline or something.
Honestly it would have made a great story. Showing the consequences of not only Vader/Anakins actions but almost expanding with a First Order type force the aftermath of what the empire had done.
Just thinking about it makes me so mad. Soo much potential. We could have had cade skywalker be our new mc. Instead of cringe rey.
I know Darth Krayt is unlikely to be canon but imagine in the Kenobi series we get to see A'Sharad Hett fight Obi Wan

The Legacy comic book series was really great. It’s more mature than your average Star Wars content, with fantastic world-building and excellent characters! I strongly recommend to anyone who seeks a unique storyline after RotJ. By the way, if you want more Darth Krayt, go check “Beyond the Shadows”, an amazing fan-project about this awesome tusken-raider turned Sith!

A'Sharad Hett / Darth Krayt is one of my favourite Jedi AND Sith, behind Qui-Gon and Yoda for Jedi and Palpatine and Vader for the Sith respectively. I have always liked Sandpeople, so a Sandpeople Jedi would always win me over and as a Sith he chose his Sith name from the most dangerous creature from his home planet, such a cool character. Earliest I've been on one of Theory's videos, due to timezone differences.

I collected all the Legacy comics last year. They were so good. Would have loved to see Cade Skywalker's story on the big screen over the sequel trilogy. Tales of The Jedi comics involving Exar Kun are also a great read!

Krayt is probably the greatest character ever. He has went through many eras. Wish they could have made a book trilogy or even TV series about him.
He definitely was well over 100 plus years old by then.
If there are more seasons of Kenobi, he could be a great villain, especially with the Tusken Warlord storyline. Who knows? Maybe he could gather the remnants of Palpatine's Sith Eternal to build up the One Sith.

Always people in the comments fighting about canon vs legends when we can just appreciate both and have more star wars to enjoy. Yes, the sequels are not the best imo, but the mandalorian, rogue one, rebels, and clone wars 08 are just great pieces of canon. As well as some of the new books like Dooku: Jedi Lost. Legends is also awesome with 03 clone wars, labyrinth of evil, the og thrawn trilogy, legacy of the force, and the vong war.

I would have died in the cinema if we got this amazing character instead of palpatine going battlefront mode and respawning. I can only imagine how cool this could have been, with Kylo at his side hunting down the remnants of the once again defeated jedi order. Would be a good reason for why Luke went into exile too, yknow instead of whatever that whole thing in the sequels was

He has such an amazing story. A Tuskin Jedi that was human that became one of the most powerful sith lords. Such a same disney made everything legends.
Krayt alone was a exceedingly far more compelling and more badass villian than literally any of the ones we got in the Disney Sequels.

i really would love for you to cover the full story, i have always loved the story of krayt and cade skywalker, a deathstick using jedi descendent of luke, honestly i feel like cade is the perfect union of vader and anakin in some ways, and a cool what if might be what if hett turned skywalker in to the council when he found out what he had done, or perhaps just told obiwan, i liked that old sith lords rejected krayt for his rule of one but in many ways thats what the bame order had come to by the means of plaguis and then palpatine, as after vaders defeat on mustafar palpatine or sidious always planned on ruling forever and never truly wishing to be overthrown, had he possed the unborb baby of leia in the dark empire saga i think that would have been a really cool story tragic and a threat not seen, it also would have been a way better story for rise of skywalker, having palpatine return via a clone, it was so close.
