Charging unit DO NOT take panic test due to shooting. From rules: the charged unit will shoot at the charging unit. Once this shooting has been resolved, the charged unit will Hold and await the charging unit. Charging units are not required to make Panic tests!
Amazing game!! A couple of rules questions: I think at 8:00 when silver helms deceared a charge to skirmish ranger, they react with stand and shoot, you don’t have to do a panic test after stand and shoot. In the same combat after silver helms give ground, rangers follow up and they have to be placed like 3 models per rank. It’s a in the skirmish combat section!!:)
Looks like the longbeards didn't "fall back in good order" in the combat with the chariot but rather "gave ground" (they can opt to do so automatically if they pass their natural leadership when using hand weapons and shields), in which case the chariot wouldn't get any impact hits at all. It would if it was a fall back in good order. Edit: Also, when the model which causes impact hits enters a challenge, the impact hits do go on the model it is in a challenge with.
Isn't overrun only after a charge or pursuit? I don't think the rangers could've overrun. Also, as skirmishers they would only maximize to the chariot and the rest would go behind so i think he has one too many fighting. When the silver helms charged they would've maximized to the silver helms; not themselves so way less incoming attacks
Overrun If a unit completely destroys its enemy before the Break Test sub-phase, it may attempt to restrain and reform, or it may ‘overrun’. A unit that overruns makes a normal pursuit move but must move directly forwards, without pivoting.
This has so much quality guys! love the dice overlay, the armies looked great as well. Looking forward to more batreps.
Thanks 👍
LOVE the camera work! The work must be a lot but it's worth it! The special effects add some loveable character to the experience! Well done chaps!
I enjoy the alternative dwarf models! Excellent battle report, I’ll keep an eye out for more of your work
LOVE these armies! The rangers really did work! The silver helms really committed to accurately roleplaying "useless elven fops" lol
Yeah , the usual Silver helm performance 🤣
Somehow it's always the footsloggers who are more reliable than the cavalry.
Great armies. Great vibes from the players. Love the streamlined video and the commentary. Great work guys and thanks for sharing your game!
Thanks 👍
I absolutely love this format! Easy to follow, good length for a breakfast watch and nice armies. Instant subscribe and hoping for more. Thanks!
Awesome, thank you! 👍
Keep doing these fellas - love your spirit your armies your tactics and most importantly U GUYS!

Ok thanks
But the casualties count towards combat resolution ?
@CreakyGamers yes they do. Stand and shoot counts towards combat res.
Nice paint job. Thanks for the battle report :-).
Thanks 👍
Love the production value. Keep doing and improving it ! :)
love the style of this battle report! Great work. Subbed
Thanks 👍
Really impressed by the phoenix guard paintjob.
Thanks , I painted them a long time ago when my eyes were younger 🥹
Was fun killing elves! We are getting better remembering rules! I will bring a unit of slayers next time for the daemon slayer!

Howdy guys always love the games! Whats with those funny accents haha.
🤣
Remember Phoenix Guards has 5+ Ward against the flaming shorts from Irondrakes and torpedo
Ohh ok I’ll read their rules again.
@@CreakyGamers no worry its still so new to us all.
Great report, thanks! What models are you using for the dwarf rangers?
I think they are Highland Miniatures 3d prints , very cool models.
Excellent work
Thanks 👍
Id always put the grungni bsb with the hammerers and then put the shield king with the longbeards so none of your bricks can be punked.
As a pure High Elves man myself I just can't deal with the cold ones being used as mounts! :P
they are small flightless dragons 😆
I would have charged that left flank early with the Lotherns and the Chariot. Apart from that, you mentioned all the other mistakes.
Yeah true , I was hoping the sea guard would do more shooting damage.
Those Dwarf Rangers are pretty good 👍
Beautiful! Can you tell me where the Dwarf Ranger Models are from? Is it Highland Miniatures 3D print?
Yes they are!
thanks
Did the chariot even get impact hits? You need to move 3" or more to get them.
Ah ok , I think you are correct , thanks.
Chariots involved in a challenge cannot direct impact hits toward the unit. As per the recent faq, they apply to the for within the challenge.
Ok thanks
Really enjoyed the report. The impact hits would have hit the challenger.
Correct, says in the new FAQ
Ok thanks

So follow up = no impact
Pursue 3’ = impact hits
Impact hits go into challenge
No wonder seaguard lost attrition war being called seagulls all the time 😂
🤣
Silver helms are pretty good in WAP. Anyways they are ok flanking but fighting rangers with Great weapon? That's a tough match for them.
Yeah , but if they passed a few saves and rolled to hit they might have done a bit better.
you cant choose what you challenge, he could have let the champion of the longbeards accept the challenge.
Yeah but hats correct , but if he refuses the challenge then I choose who cowers at the back ?
@@CreakyGamersyes that's correct

Also outnumber won't affect them because it's by combat
You can always choose to overrun if you wipe the enemy in combat.

@@CreakyGamers yep, I think I have some edition bleed over happening
