Probably my favorite area in the game apart from Latria.
The fact that you see myths come to life all around the stage and in the end you become the mythical hero with the Storm Ruler Blade and kill the Storm King is so awesome, also one of the best examples of a "scripted" set piece done right
I stuggle putting into words how pleasantly surprised I am to find such a measured, detailed and well-articulated analysis of Demon's Souls in 2023.
This video is delightfuk and it's rekindling my wonder and amazement that I have always felt for this game.
4-1 looks so good, the only thing that would make it better is a super saturated neon orange flaming tree as it's centerpiece

I'd never noticed the detail of the animal bones on the skeleton champions. Amazing what you can overlook in the heat of gameplay. Thank you for this video!

One thing that I wondered was that the remake changed the skeletons to be more mummy like. I wonder how much that clashes with lore.

You are right that the reapers have a very generic design, but their concept art represents more unique ideas, such as the vertical eyes and the long finger that casts magic
