I can't believe, that some people expected Sarah to immediately calm down, and realize what's going on here, after everything she has been through. Linda Hamilton really nailed it to show that shock and fear.

Yeah, agreed. That bit sells it. the level of acting in this far outweighs the special effects. making a scene takes much more than deliveries, but reactions of the players. Hamilton sold that in this. I guess however, that only works if you've seen the first Terminator movie to understand it. But yeah, she did that bit well.

I always loved how well of a realistic female heroine Sarah Connor is. She fights realistically and smart using tricks and ambushes. And despite being a complete badass vs just about anyone, she reverts to a scared little girl when faced with her biggest fear/nightmare: a terminator. Which humanizes her and makes her even more relateable

Recently someone pointed out that Sarah didn't stop when she heard John calling after her. She knows they can mimic voices so her reaction of keeping on running from the t-800 is perfectly in character.
Edit: the CGI for the t-1000 phasing through the gate was amazing. A few professional CGI artists attempted to recreate the CGI. Granted, they only gave themselves a weekend, IIRC. While their efforts were commendable even they agreed that the movie version looked superior to their attempts. That's saying something when you consider how much hard- and software have advanced since 1991.

So interesting to see the differences between the various reactors.
My personal favorites are the popcorns, Popcorn Roulette and Popcorn in Bed.
Least favorites are the Ashs. Ashleigh Burtons and Just Trust Ash, which I skip past.
So is this channel about ... the movie ? Or is it about shopping and comparing reactors ?
EVERY comment is about the MOVIE. So why not just go watch the movie ? Your thoughts ? Your favorite reactors ? thx

Women arent allowed to have moments of helpless terror in movies any more. In 2024 she fights him and doesnt take a single hit.

More of this performative bullshit. They seriously expect people to believe that they haven't seen the movie?
