The fact that Peridot has no knowledge of the scythe and bismuth does, brings up the possibility of it being an Era 1 exclusive weapon. Peridot being an era 2 gem would likely have no knowledge of it.
Also they were used during the war, so it makes sense Bismuth would know all about it, while Peridot, who was made after the war, would have no knowledge of it.

Peridot is from Era 2. Rejuvinators were only used during the Gem War and were not used after that, so of course she would have no knowledge of what it is.

Jay Sherard actually I saw the reasoning for this. The purpose of it going slowly was for the poison to sink slowly into the earth but because Spinel sped it up, she pretty much ruined her whole plan because it was then filtered through the sea water and Steven found he was able to heal with his kisses. It needed to sink into the soil

Bismuth is an Era 1 gem, Peridot is from Era 2. Rejuvenators were recalled before Peridot was created
What about Garnet, What about Lapis? What about Pearl? Focusing back on Lapis, why did they put her in a mirror instead of rejuvenating her? Lapis could've been reused and reset to serve Homeworld once more. It's a plothole.
@@sckova Homeworld thought Lapis was part of the Crystal Gems, they didn't rejuvenate her because they thought they could get info about the Crystal Gems from her. Era 2 is after Pink died, so Sapphire and Ruby are Era 1, Pearl is Era 1 too (obviously)

It's not like the gems completely lost their memories, they were just reset. So Garnet knowing about love, Spinel getting angry over Steven trying to abandon her, and other parts were just their memories leaking in but not fully returning.
Less reset more like an overwrite with their original programming.
So Pink Diamond should still exist.
Also Im pretty sure the gems knew the concept of love before Pink/Rose. The way we know this is cause of the lyrics of "Whats the Use of Feeling Blue?" Where Yellow tells Blue "Yes of course we still LOVE HER" so they loved Pink while she was with them. I guess what she did was introduce a concept of love that was more inclusive and less controlling?

A musical can still incorporate songs smoothly into the story. In this movie it felt like they were singing just to be singing as opposed to a musical like idk Grease. A lot of the songs in these went on way to long in my opinion

Cause in that time, Spinel changed form, somehow got a customised injector filled with poison, which also reacts to her horn, somehow also get a rejuvenator,, locate and then travel to earth, and somehow figure out who Garnet and Amethyst are despite not being mentioned in the broadcast. And in that time, had *just* enough time for her trauma to sink in and decide to kill Steven.

Didn't she though?? Directly after the broadcast was cut Steven went back to Earth, sang a few songs as he walked around Beach City and then the drill + Spinel showed up. They didn't show any time skips or even change from day to night. So it was pretty quick even if some hours did go by. I mean it does look that way.
Maybe she just said she had heard his message over and over as a result of the shock of it all? It could perhaps have been less literal and more metaphorical?

I was thinking that too, because she only knew of what happened in the last 6000 years because of the broadcast, which happened at most an hour before she arrived, so how the hell did she get the rejuvenator, the injector, and her new form in an hour, she seems pretty tough so she would be hard to poof, so the only way I think she could’ve been poofed was if she used the rejuvenator on herself, but then she wouldn’t be able to remember the past 6000 years

Gems are born knowing what their purpose are. Rubies are specifically made for sapphires and thats why ruby knows who sapphire is. Sapphire can look into the futur.
Well this Ruby anyways. Not all Rubies protect Sapphires, such as the ones from hit the diamond.

I don't think Pearl was giving Ruby instructions, per say; but she saw a Ruby, and knew that the Ruby was designed to guard something. So when a Sapphire appeared, she deduced that Sapphire (the only gem in the room valuable enough to deserve a guard) would be the charge. Ruby, programmed to guard high-value gems, would make the same assumption. Sapphire, knowing she was a high-value gem, would also assume she had a guard; and since there was a Ruby right there, the logical conclusion is the Ruby is supposed to be her guard.
Stevonnie and Steg were in a finalized state because Steven fused with 2 humans and both those humans had a certain sense of self and knew each other, where ruby and sapphire barely knew each other and had to find out who each other were in order to get a finalized state

Convergent Evolution, I believe is the term when two independent species evolve along similar lines , making them look very similar. We can surmise we might find that between alien.and Earth species. @@roboticplayer3854 please explain. Yes, she's suffered a bit of abuse from the diamonds trying to train her to be a proper leader in the light of the overseeing WHITE DIAMOND. This has been expressed when Steven is locked up under Blue and Yellow's grip, when Steven asks Blue how many times have they made her upset- how she's tried to be a good person by attempting to stop the diamonds from destroying a planet she's come to "admire", and trying to be a pink washed Khalesi, Breaker of Chains, ender of all gem dictatorship, etc. However, Steven suffers for EVERY CARELESS MISTAKE she makes, and not just Steven either. I've seen people argue that she acts like a teenager, and teenagers make mistakes, but one thing teenagers are familiar with is CONSEQUENCE! Something Pink doesn't seem to understand! Pink is fully aware the expectations of being a diamond and should know the responsibility of what it is to manage a freaking COLONY having been around Blue & Yellow! She squanders this, leaving Earth open to a variety of dangers. This means when garnet first fused, the memory of Rose telling her about love came back. Then spinel, when Steven tried to leave the memory of pink never returning came back.
